Good our staying focused. I did drycleaning business in university, u can collect and wash cloths weekends, i made a lot of money washing for my fellow students then, now am about opening my 4th branch, i graduated 5 years ago,

i cannot think of working for anyone, i employ over 12 staffs,

i also had an okada in school, that remits me daily money, by final year i had about 3 bikes in school, i had a good life socially and acedemically also,

Dear MEND operators. More grease to your elbows. Please don’t give up. Your region shall attain the much sought after independence very, very soon. You are fighting against a deaf and dumb system, and I can assure you, you are using a very efficient method which would yield good result in due course.

Nigeria of course is a big fraud and by grace of God, would come to an end if we do not waiver in our effort to cleanse it. People have been clamouring for sovereign national conference over the years, but of course, had fallen on deaf ears.

Yes, the story of the ND is a pitiable one. But like I have always said the elders of the ND are fraudsters. They collect huge sums of money from the FG and do nothing with it. I want MEND to start the fight with its own leaders. Put fear in their eyes so that they can develop the area with the big money they are getting already. If they are judiciously using their allocation and the place is still the way it is, then any cry will be meaningful.

Mend can insist on 50% derivation formula. In fact if they stick to this, the FG will know what is at stake. They should also call for the abolition of ND ministry because that in itself has no meaning. How many ministries were established to develop Abuja or Lagos.
We should stop deceiving ourselves. ND ministry is another waste pipe.

The new approach of not firing on our soldiers first is a good one. Many of the soldiers at the creek are not happy with the plight of the ND too, but since they have been commanded to go there, they will have no option than to obey. We are all Nigerians and human beings and we all know what is good.

Mr. Scot. I will not abuse you. May God forgive you. Can I ask you a very simple question? When you are pushed to the wall, as in the case of Niger Delta, what will you do? Over the years as an public sector accounting student in Nigeria, we were taught that derivation (for sharing resources accruing to federation account) is 1.5%. The situation NEVER changed until violence was introduced. It was increased to 3%, then 13% (I dont know what it is now).

Corruption and other ills in the Nigerian system will NOT change now unless there is violence. Go and read your religious books for precedents.

Be informed that the resources use in prosecuting this senseless war on the innocent citizen in ND whould have been better utilized to effect development in the region but we have a government who insensitive to to yearning of the people. They choose to politicised everything they say. Today they will creat NDDC, ND ministry and what have you. How many commission was created to make Abuja what it is today?Nigerians should answer, The struggle for the emacipation of the ND has started, the beginig we all know but the end we all await.There is no gain saying that those who don’t want peace make war inevitable. PAde….im sorry i spoke so rudely earlier on,i really do apologise. The truth is that what seperates us from animals is our inherent ability to reason and reach a compromise with one another no matter how long it would take. The FG over the years has short changed the ND but Yaradua is not the one to blame! he gave the Niger Delta so many things to prove that he was ready to transform the area “with their contribution” but these boys were not ready to forgo the easy money they had gotten used to for the planned infrastructural development. The truth must be told that both sides in this matter have not been fair to each other and gunslinging will not solve the issue. The men of the JTF are not to be blamed because they are following orders from the president (their jobs) but these militants or freedom fighters are not and i repeat “NOT” recognised by any nation, group or individual in the civil world. The best thing they can do is lay down their arms and seek a lasting settlement with the government.
