Aunty buy it here in Nigeria o whih is way cheaper and faster.
Yeah. Buying here in Nigeria is my first option. I'm tempted to buy on aliexpress because it seems cheaper there.

Hi friends... It's official! I'm a Xiaomite and I can't keep calm wink...received my RN7 (4GB/128GB variant) yesterday via the post office and I can definitely say it was worth the wait (took 3 weeks to get to me in Jos; Ali express rocks cool) and I'm literally in love with the device right now. A little additional icing to this already "tasty cake" is the fact that I didn't have to pay a dime at the post office considering there was no custom duty 'ish' on my parcel (read on here about other peeps' unfortunate experience with that)...okay, lemme go take my new baby for a spin...It's really great to be a part of this family. Thank y'all for your comments on this thread, they really helped in my decision to get this "baby"...Any tips to seamless usage will be appreciated + how do I go about changing fonts please ( preferably without root access)...Thanks guys
Heey, my fellow Jos guy. Pls what store on aliexpress did you order from? Quite surprised that it reached you in 3 weeks. Planning on getting one this month.

Note 7s is The Global Note 7 made for Indians.

The Initial Note 7 released for Indian had a 12 + 2mp camera setup unlike the 48+5mp found on the Chinese and Global version which have here in Nigeria
OK. Any idea about its availability in Nigeria? Plus the price on GSM arena is 10 dollars lesser than note 7
PhonesRe: The Xiaomi Thread. by shyshally(f): 9:58pm On May 24, 2019
Pls I've been seeing xiaomi redmi note 7s on GSM arena. Seems the main difference with note 7 is the camera. Just want to know if it'll be available in Nigeria and anymore major difference between the 2. As I plan on getting note 7 next month.

Regarding aliexpress shipment, it seems once the goods reach Nigeria, they stop updating its progress.
On more than one occasion when I bought jewelleries from them, it had reached the post office already but the tracking was stuck at shipment has left country of origin.
I wonder why this is so

Hello everyone. I came across this thread by chance today, and going through the post has shown me that I have a lot of work to do.
I'm a 600 level medical student hoping to graduate by next year. So it'll be till 2022 before I can safely leave Nigeria. I don't plan on getting into residency, rather I want to get a masters in the mental health field in Canada (which is a very underdeveloped field in Nigeria). I would love any advice that can be given to me, like what steps I can start to take before the time comes, best time to take the ielts, etc
Secondly, I don't know which visa is better to use, either the FSW program or the students visa then hopefully get PR afterwards.
Thanks and I await your responses

[genius43[/quote]Thanks. This really helped. Unfortunately it was the redmi 6 pro I had finally chosen after comparing with note 5. I compared the redmi note 5ai with the redmi 6 pro now & they're quite similar and at the same price range. The only major thing the redmi note 5ai doesn't have is the dedicated SD card slot. Besides, it has a better front camera. I'll just go for the redmi note 5ai. Thanks for the help. By the way, who do you suggest I buy from(the global version) here on nairaland ?

Depends on what you are looking out for. Infinix and Tecno are nice brands but they tend to offer poor specs for prices that can afford a better Xiaomi phone. That's just it.

The phones can be repaired in Nigeria just that the parts have to be shipped.
OK. Thanks. What about the rom, getting the global version to Nigeria?
PhonesRe: The Xiaomi Thread. by shyshally(f): 12:31am On Dec 09, 2018
Hey guys, Xiaomi is indeed an awesome brand with great phones. But the risk of using the phone in Nigeria (no xiaomi office here for repairs) is quite high. Also it seems getting the global version to Nigeria is risky( the issue BTW noobody and the other guy). Because the phone might get bricked if I try to update it.
So my question is, is it worth it? Getting the phone to Nigeria or should I just go with infinix ( for the safety of familiarity). Even though xiaomi is better. Thanks
honest answers pls

You know, it's good to eat green vegetables from time to time, especially in the raw form. That's where most of the vitamins are. As it helps with blood flow.

Saw this on instagram.

I personally don't like the conventional "boil and fry" chicken. I want a little adventure. But when I check online or watch food network, the marinade is just something I can't get here.

So, is there anyone that has a different recipe as to how to marinade chicken to give it a different taste using realistic Nigerian ingredient. I would appreciate.

Ps: I'm a bombom and wing chicken crew too. I also like the legs and I prefer all not fried.
I've seen some recipes involving wine. Especially red wines. Try looking that up
