Omoawoke: There are over a thousand and one professional skills you can learn online. When they say education is invaluable, some people call am scam. The world is evolving and so many remote jobs requiring current skills are there. People are in Nigeria earning FX by working remotely,… invest in yourself and be updated to the current demand of the world. Among include PMP, cybersecurity, IT audit, Compliance, data privacy, sustainability etc Trading on your country’s currency is not work, it’s like people cutting off wood from their ship to build a canoe. All the money you think you are making from your currency will injure you the more when your economy crumbles. I don't blame you |

jaxin119: You can only give what you have. Unfortunately, aside medicine and law, most university lecturers does not have workplace/ industry experience. They only pass on what the were thought hook, line and sinker.
The sure bet to having a more productive university is to structure the recruitment process to allow for the employment of experienced and seasoned professionals retired professionals. Most organisations peg 60 yrs as the retirement age. Imagine have these seasoned professionals from engineering, Oil and gas, business management teaching and passing their industry experience and trainings to the young undergraduate. and where will the young ones willing to become lecturers work |
