Let me copy n paste here. Oyedepo causes uproar on social media, says prosperity is impossible without tithing
byAnonFriday, July 17, 2020
Founder and presiding Bishop of the megachurch Faith Tabernacle in Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria, and Living Faith Church Worldwide, also known as Winners' Chapel International, David Oyedepo says prosperity is impossible without tithing.
He(Oyedepo) took to his page on the micro blogging platform twitter to state that anyone who doesn't pay tithe is "under a financial curse" and can never prosper and this has led to an argument.
A PhD candidate at Edinburgh University disagreed with Oyedepo, tweeting: "Tithing cannot create wealth! Wealth creation occurs when you deploy capital to create value. When X gives 1/10 of his earnings to your church, there’s no production or investment, thus he has not created value, but only enriched you. Tithing is a church sponsored ponzi scheme.."
Funny enough the sreenshoot reads "...prosperity not just wealth..." but that's missing in the one bloggers are circulating. Prosperity transcends the body spirit and soul. |

delkuf: I want to pass this message to people in Christ. It is happening. Someone told me and she is working with the company that is running the pipe for the 5g network in Lagos State. Those people kicking against the 5g network are correct. This is not the time to be passive. We need to be at alert. We must not be caught unaware. I pray we would all make heaven in Jesus name. Educate yourself and stop spreading fear and falsehood. 5G isn't bad. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Using Microphone In The Church Is Not Biblical: The Apostles Never Used It by Sibrah: 11:37am On Jul 17, 2020 |
Kobojunkie: Let me remind you that Jesus Christ and His disciples were poor men, with Jesus Christ at one time not even having a roof over his head, meaning He was homeless. And His disciples followed Him in and into all that too. He wasn't a poor man. He wore expensive clothes, rode the best chariots, had dedicated ships, had a treasurer(not to keep an empty treasury) and more. That scriptural interpretation about son of man having no roof isn't sensible. |

Jesus never used modern gadgets but did what those gadgets where suppose to do with the best available ones. He used ships, wore expensive clothes, rode classy chariots, received the expensive ointment. |

lagos, ogun and Abuja middleclass and the poor are vehemently waiting for a day that will determine the fate of a nation as the two category of the aforementioned can not survive more than one month of HUNGER for a disease brought into the nation by the elite.
The biggest mistake mr president will ever make is to extend the lockdown and watch the country burn! its revolution people prepare for WAR!
Its apparent nigeria can not distribute palliatives to even 1% of her Citizens of 200million. The best decision is to open the economy and adopt other mechanisms to contain the spread. elite is a relative term and thus vague. |
