You don't need to doubt because that was exactly what happened during NERC recruitment that year 2022/2023, they opened recruitment portal and advertised for 70 positions to be filled and many thousands applied for it, 300+ went for the interview, they interviewed 3 people per position advertised and selected 1 person per position each, but that 70 was based on merit and they were called that time and their was so much interest from the political class, FCC and the rest, at last the chairman has to agree for people on slot and add the numbers to approximately 150 from that 70 merit based and they were categorized into batches, Batch A was for the merit based and they were called 11th May 2023 and collected their letters and Batch B for the slot based they were not called up to today but hopefully they might be contacted in the second quarter of this year

NNPC is better in terms of long term renumeration. But, if u study anythin Econs&Taxation or any Calculation course in ur degree, go for FIRS, cos na Tax Dept dem go put u n it way more better than NNPCL, but u shldnt expect bumper allowances, but ur eyes go see moni

Thanks. I don't have to engage him further. You have saved me the stress. DPR (now NUPRC) used to be on IPPIS but left. I have never heard of any self-funded agency that has poor pay. If anything, an increment was effected sometime in late 2021.

NUPRC just had most of their allowances scrapped. They’re also not recruiting until the whole petroleum brouhaha has been sorted. Ask anyone that works in either organization and they will advise u not to go there. Nmdpra is in even worse condition. The only stable petroleum org right now is ncdmb and even they are barely staying afloat.

Brother, you can work with NDLEA, NNPC etc.. It is not about the course you studied in the university but Grace of God and 8G connection.
