ticklin: Hi guys, I finally got my trv. Two weeks after I had submitted my tuition fees receipt, and about a month after my medicals, I decided to go to the embassy and inquire about my application hoping it would remind them of my file. I filled the form at the entrance and submitted it with a letter of tuition payment from my university. In about 30mins, my phone rang and a lady asked if I was at the gate. I was then called in and given my documents with the visa. It was just done. na God do am! my start date was may 1st and that was on the 6th so I dash go airport, collect ticket waka that day. I didn't submit any extra extra document except an evaluation of two properties my dad owns. All the rest was what they asked for. I prepared my docs using info from this from and I'm very grateful for all your all, Oga Siga and others too numerous to mention. Any of you guys coming to Montreal, hala at your boy! meanwhile, make I continue to search for apartment to stay Good luck to all applicants! God dey!

kellyemms: Hello nairalanders, plz is there any school in canada dat require submition of application and supporting documents online. Becauz most skul I av seen require u sending supportin documents like reference letter, transcript etc via post or courier to the school postal address

Debesther: thanks guys for d reply/questions. a friend of mine who is a travel agent is the middle man,he is the one linking me up,the said man is a Canadian embassy staff,he will get a job offer that will facilitate the visa+work permit,that i will only pay when the visa has been approved and confirmed which i dont know how to confirm,that i will look for a job when i get there by my self.that is all i am informed about for now.pls advise.

3. My Dad's friend is in ontario bt he advsed that if I don't c schools in ontario I shd apply to other provinces cos one can apply 4 PR immediately after a year grad course bt its nt d case for ontario, hw tru is ds..

Fhemmmy: I will advice that if the dude is asked to submit the original of the document, it is better to do just that, cos if i am a visa officer and you think you are qualified to come to Canada to come and study and i am asking you for your original doc, if you are worried about giving them, i MIGHT dig more on you. . . just my own personal opinion.

Fhemmmy: I think it is mostly because some people are scared of getting back their document just in case they are rejected, and i see those as feeling defeated already before the game.

GboyegaD: If it is based on the questionaire you filled then, I would suggest you give them all that is required of you however, if you are scared of the giving out the originals, I think you should be able to submit a certified copy although, I am not too sure of this.

2. I don't tink having 2.1 does mean u must go 4 msc direct, u may just want to do a short course-certificate course(8months) or pgd if u wanna major in somethn diff frm ur first degree #justsayn
Bt rily I wud v preferd goin in 4 a msc directly tho

Application forms for study permits, work permits and temporary resident visas are being updated on May 4, 2013. If you are submitting your application online after May 4, 2013, please go back into your application to download and complete the new application form. Forms downloaded before May 4th will not upload to MyCIC.

coldgate: I saw the message too. Anyone using the online method and has previously uploaded his/her forms would need to logon after tomorrow to fill out the new forms. Anyway, I applied this morning using the online method.
