...bro...u cant transfer, get that out of the way....all u do is find urself a school u want...go for the program u want...when u get here...go see ur course advisor/coordinator with ur transcript and official course details on each course from the school....they will look at the courses u have done before...weigh it with wat they offer and decide from there if they will waive anything for u....u might have to debate ur stands as well...

coldgate: @ siga: Tanx. I would go ahead with the George Brown college application then. I have been given up to June to pay first semester fees. I actually have the entire fees now. Do I pay for first semester only or do I pay up? Will it up my chances with CDHC? Tanx.

....Nna...no rush pay ...CDHC don tell u to wait before making any payment....but if school say u have till June to pay first semester....wait till June then....

@dotman....u can request for yr pali anytime after submission....go to the embassy, fill the form at the gate...explain why u need ur passport....and once u are done with ur exam....take it back...

September is visible since u applied well enough to cover the 18weeks processing time....

.....Well..if u are going to do that....u might wanna write a letter explaining why you want to keep ur passport....most people submit the passport first and then request the passport ....advise CDHC that it will be returned on request...remember their checklist request u submit ur passport with ur application and it clearly states that failure to submit a complete application may result to denial...so...no give devil power ooo

Pls. I have two letters of Acceptance from George Brown College and New Brunswick Community college for the same program HRM. The fees though are different. The fee for G.B is 13,200 while NBCC is only 6000. However, level I noticed for level of study that B.B indicated postgraduate while NBCC indicated College.(Advanced Diploma is the certificate to be issued. I am already trying to apply online when I noticed this. Is there a difference btw the two?

.....Post graduate diploma is designed for graduates while Advanced diploma is pretty much for High school grades mostly...

all the CDHC forms
proof of funds
Acceptance letter
international passports
Visa fee
and 2 passport photographs...shikena

and any other docx required by the VO after submission...
I think this checklist is for the advanced countries like USA

GboyegaD: Ok. I don't know what the paper application checklist is however a friend of mine going to Quebec and applying online wasn't asked all this in his application and he just applied last week. If your checklist requires it, please add it.

...I know wat u talkin about....believe me...Im so against over-documentation....but, some documents are just nice to include to support ur application....u will see they themselves...the CDHC will tell u and any other documents to support ur application....

....Thts good enough for me...but I will tell u from my experience....when I did mine....sorry for going back in time again....na interview we dey go...and during my interview...every single questions asked about my work, school or certification....I presented documents to back up my claims....which in turns makes the interview stop further questions...Also...when I did my PR...every single stuff I mentioned had to be backed up with documentation.....but like u said earlier...its a choice...to me...work experience is something u wanna use to show progression as to how u fell in love with the field u are heading into now....I did Electronics Telecomms in School....served as System Admin at a Cybercafe...then got a job with P & G as an Electrical Engr....then got a scholarship to come to Canada for IT....so, when I went for my interview...I told the VO that I fell in love with IT during my service year...and I produced a letter to back it up....even though I didnt put P & G for my application...na my cousin company I used as my current job...claiming to be the warehouse manager and that my cousin wants to going into Cybercafe biz...so, since I had prior experience in it...I went for IT...

GboyegaD: What makes it false? Why don't we add our past employment letters with our resume? Don't you think if there is a need for it, they sure would ask Adding the letter or otherwise doesn't buy the trust we expect and I think it kills it more quickly.
on a lighter note, we may have to add our matriculation and graduation gown in the same vein lol

GboyegaD: Since you are no longer with the company it isn't necessary. You could mention it in your letter of interest as your work experience and state how it has contributed to why you are taking this program. Remember, its only an opinion though so you necessarily need not take it if it isn't comfortable with you.

....u have a point but it is very important to back watever u say up wit a proof...it adds to ur credibility....if u mention working anywhere and ur intent is to prove to the VO ur related work experience...excluding such letter can mean false info...so...bros...add it

ZionSpecie: On d form I filled @ cdhc, I stated dat I av less dan 3wks to resumption. I ddn't state dat I'v done my medicals. The lady dat called me afterwards jus askd if I'v gone to vfs (though I ddn't hear her clearly. The volume was very low). She simply said "there's a package there that needs your attention...". On getting to vfs, d guy at the front desk, after checkin on d system, said the cdhc lady must be referring to d call for medicals cos they avn't received anything after that. So I concluded dat cdhc havn't seen (checked) the docs I submitted, else she wldn't be telling me there's a package waiting for me @ vfs. Or what do u think? Shuld I go tell dem dat vfs said d last package they received was medical instruction? And dat I'v done dat since March 1st (6 weeks ago)?

....bro...I will advise u go again and tell them wat VFS told u....from my own experience...even though its quite a long time ago....back then...no online things at all....so, all I could do is either call or go to the embassy....I called until I got a response and an apology that my file was misplaced that I should have been called for my visa weeks before .....issue was that I did my medicals and submitted the receipt same time I applied for visa...so, when the results came....my application never reach the stage so...dem just dump am somewhere and dem forget about am...until i bombard dem with calls....

...u can pay with anyone's credit card....all that is needed is the expiration date and ccv number of the card....so...if u sabi anyone...even in planet MARS....he can help u pay...just give them ur username and password details incase dem no wan giv u their pako details......

U guys need to stop all these whinning about tuition fees man.....una no expect to pay tuition when una dey apply for VISA....there are tonnes of guys that were denied visas that hope na dem CDHC dey ask to go pay tuition...plz...stop these and pray for the best....tired of these tuition this and that....lets face real issues...if CDHC ask u to go pay tuition...go do thanksgiving for church....just that one case of the girl that was denied after tuition....
