teexzle: Ok boss!!! I believe u...Just mailed him and I will let the house know wat he says....I'm not happy with it at all...but will wait for him to explain... |
teexzle: How can he claim to b in canada studyn wen he just got his visa 2day??oops....oh wow....well I guess he was been prophetic....believe me...he made few trips to Lagos ...I was kept in the loop since January....I gat the mails...so..im confused....I will ask him about this post... |
dotman: 7 months ke, kilode. Can he please share why he thinks it took that long. Did the embassy request more information, document or verification from him?...he was asked to pay tuition and board....well he waited for receipts and there was dead silence for 2months....several mails sent to ask of status...then embassy visit did it... |
GOOD NEWS!!! ... One of our brothers ...username "charles4all" , got his visa today....he is a quiet member but has been in constant communication with me....it took 7months in all...so..congrats to him....I hope to see him in a week... |
GboyegaD: Yes please....U can take it to GReyhound....they do that I believe....u can also ask them about home delivery...I believe u pay extra for that or they get a taxi driver to deliver and u pay on delivery .... |
GboyegaD: E go better. Make we sef try to dey change things right from the election. We should vote wisely and for credibility knowing that it is the bedrock of the change we desire. What company do you suggest I use for ground shipping my books?....It will...thats why anyone I come across in Canada, I always ensure to make good impression...to the point one silly oyinbo told me he couldnt believe I am a Nigerian...imagine...a friend of mine that works as one of the Investments Managers of a billionaire for Canada had to prove himself and the man called him...telling him he took a gamble about him, people warned him not to hire him...but he took his friends advise (the guy who referred my friend) and never regretted it....that he is a different Nigerian...so...if we all can do our part...bit by bit...they will know every country has good and bad people....its not a Nigerian thing..... As per ur books....from Yankee right? |
mamagbaba: Good day all.....Bro...leave that pls and dont let wrong info scatter ur plans....we have alot of guys here that didnt use any blood related sponsor..I didnt... |
GboyegaD: I agree but I think that is not the only reason it takes that long is what I'm saying. We don't have a good reputation but it also takes a while to process papers for the number of applicants we have and also, it takes a while to verify all those documents.....Bro...do u know how many chinese and Indians apply a year...omg...they are alot...Naija no near the number at all...trust me...the main issue is TRUST....just check the various checklists of each countries...there goes ur answer...even for here...anywhere dem hear Naija...they are already second guessing u...until u prove urself...I went through this bro |
GboyegaD: I am not sure about that and could be part of the reasons but I also think the number of applicants matters as well. For instance, some countries in the Caribbean, it takes less than 2 weeks while if you apply from the US it takes 3 weeks despite that US permanent residents and citizens do not require visa. Does it connote distrust in this case or just that the more the population, the more time it takes.....Bro...docs need to be verified...banks need to be called...all these take time....if u apply here or any trusted country...no one calls any bank...I remembered when I applied for US visa when I was on work permit (after study)...no one called any bank...even when I sent an invitation for someone in Naija....no one called my bank here nor my broker...so...believe it or not...Canada no trust Naija documents...plus..our boys go come here dey do fraud and mess up all our reputation.... |
jenogieru: Oga Siga....Since u have been working in Logistics since like u advised....why not go for something in that field ...by so doing...u give a flow into ur 13yrs....and the VO would be sold as well.... Ok...check this out... http://www.humber.ca/program/supply-chain-management |
kumulus: Ugh... Bishops University..First time hearing of that university...sorry bro... |
kumulus: @Siga, bro do you have any useful info 'bout BU you think would be useful during ma application process.watz BU? ![]() |
GboyegaD: Just got back my passport with my student visa. It was a seamless process and everything took 23days from start to finish. Though I applied from outside Nigeria....Congrats bro....the joy of applying outside Naija....it is well... |
honourableseyi: @siga, Please where can i get the affidavit of support that my sponsor will fill? Can i get it online or any other place except Lagos?....bro...Siga no dey Naija oooo |
holuphisayor: please,...Yes Sir...its part of ur requirements to complete ur program....some workplace no dey pay ooo....so, if u are lucky u get a paid one....most employers pay cos they use it as incentives for govt. tax break.... |

VCTROKOYE: Where Shuld I take it to? Vfs or embassy. Pls which info Shuld I give to help them trace my record.... U can go to the embassy....fill the form and advise additional document....but ensure you have a letter from ur sister explaining in details what happened and submit the new bank letter.... |
VCTROKOYE: Is it the new account that she Shuld get the print out. How do I send it to the embassy?....here is the prob....since ur app is already sitting for CDHC....we have two options.... 1. Wait and hope CDHC overlook the statements since its Yankee ....they may accept it without calling (fingers crossed). or they may request confirmation at which point u send in the new one with a letter written by ur sponsor. 2. Send in the new acct with a letter stating wat happened to the old acct and why it was closed.....ur sister can print out the closing balance from the closed acct ....this will have time stamp to verify her authenticity....then the new one will have on the bank letter when it was opened...hopefully, the closing and opening balances are not too far apart.... But in all...the decision is urs....pray over it..... |
VCTROKOYE: She about 3m. But I have about 1.9m plus stocks that worths about 230k. My twin brother is a US citizen n co-sponsored about 11k dollars n stocks that worths more 1M in naira. How do I correct this pls? I don't any embassy to rubbish my passport. I have guf travel history.....bro, no sweat at all....since the acct in question is in US....tell ur sister to go to the bank, have then print out a bank letter....the letter will state how much her balance is...the only issue is it will state how long she has been banking with them....so, u can use that ...u are even solid enough with all those extra things....when I sponsored someone few yrs back....all I gave the embassy was a bank letter and stocks....thats all...dont worry...God is on ur side bro... |
VCTROKOYE: My sister is my sponsor. She is a US citizen n she is there as a nurse. she gave me her both Nigerian n US accounts. But she was annoyed by her bank in US but she forget she was my sponsor n closed the account today. She just told me and asked me what she Shula do. She is ready to send another statement. But I need advice. her account in Nigeria is intact...how much is in her account in Naija? |
VCTROKOYE: My sponsor has closed the account he gave me and transferred the money to a new account. The embassy acknowledged the receipt of my application on 28th of march. Pls Shuld I do?...Ha ba...why now....didnt u tell him/her how long the process go be? Bro...this is not a good news ooo...if CDHC decides to call the bank...na error dem go hit ooo....I will advise u have a sit down with ur sponsor....plead with him...infact offer to pay interest on the money sitting in the bank if anything ...he needs to reopen that account or give you the new acct statement which will be few weeks old by the way....but couple it with a letter to CDHC explaining why this happened....if u are lucky, they will contact u requesting a new account or confirmation of this one at which point u can explain and present a new one......or if na all these Naija girls handle am...na denial straight and that can even cost u a ban saying ur statement is fraudulent....not good at all...ahhhhh.... ![]() |
Huzzie: @Oga siga... While I await UNBC response, I have looked into Humber and Centennial college courses, I intend applying for financial planning/ global biz mgt but I jst can't make a choice btw these schools. Which do you think have a better provision for business related courses?....well...they are both good....well recognised...but I will go for Humber anyday....just my choice... |
ferdimako: U've been managing him and now you wanna dive out.Haha....bro...I didnt dive out...I have told everyone that sent me letters that my response to letters will be too late for them....e no easy bro...im a very busy guy ...like I have said before...I have a full time job and 2 part time jobs....u can ask guys that are here in Canada already....they know how e be....this one na my 3rd part time job....replying questions is easier than reading and trying to construct letters bro...if u have a sample...send it to him... |
kumulus: @Siga please I'll like to know if there are schools in canada that accepts free online application. If yes, their names.lol...free ...bro...these schools run on whatever they generate with government funds....they need all ur money.... |
Akanmu2013: @ DadY(oga siga)...Bro...sorry, I wont be able to help write the letter nor can I promise to read through it to make corrections when u need it....to avoid delay ...I will advise u seek someone u know that can help read through the letter or can we plz have a volunteer in the house....plz send any sample u have to Akanmu....provide ur email and u will get alot sent ur way..... |
davino228: Hello ya'll,...Most schools have health Insurance covered on their tuition....which school are u heading to... |
