Where have you beenhuh Where the hell have you been all this whilehuh.. Do you know any other person that shares the same ideas with you... I am making a collection of people like you man... You're seeing, you're thinking.... Can the Nigerian youths think?? Can they see this fraudhuh
I feel your passion and drive, I try to get facts before making statements. I also don't belong to any political party but when I see foul play I can identify it. Let's keep enlighten one another in discussions and public fora like this until we have a large number of people that can reason the same way, we can then press home our demands legally, openly and in a God fearing manner. May God favour us in the supplementary/DE list o bcs that's our own primary assignment for now. May they vote more money for education in the new budget o, and may the one released recently by jonathan to all federal schools (especially UI) not be misappropriated o. One love one UI

All this political parties have the same people, with the same ideology making it easy for anyone of them to switch at the slightest sight of green pasture... Nigerian politics is a fraud, it's a system that need a massive and drastic overhaul...

They keep parading themselves, recycling the same old folks, moving from one party to another, to fulfil personal missions and ambitions, no party structure/ideology, when they are tired, they replace themselves with their children sent abroad to have better education with our money when facilities in our institutions have deteriorated. The target is to grab power and thereafter show their real stuffs, obviously they can't fare better than the present administration. Their past statements cannot be detached from the present insecurity. I can't believe any of them until all of them in that new party stay together as a party for some years without defecting to another party when the political atmosphere does not favour them. It's about Nigerians and the youth should have a "voice" and our voice must be heard. Nigeria belongs to all of us, whether you had no shoes, underwear, spoons or not, any educated, sincere, young and intelligent person from any part of the country can become the president, governor, etc without anyone making Nigeria ungovernable for the other. No corp member (corper) should be killed again bcs someone lost an election. God bless Nigeria, God bless the youth

The major prblm with christains is that they knw close 2 nothing abt their bible, may b because thy r just too lazy to study it or perhaps d bible is unable to clearify many important issues which is most likely to be the case, resulting to everybody's opinion coming out directly frm his/her thoughts instead of d so-called holy book.

Health › Re: JOHESU Issues Fifteen Days Ultimatum by sigolisis:
Chinaimporter: @bushdoc9919

Well, I daresay the idea behind nurse-consultants is to possibly improve training for nurses too....so that they become more than techies.

so if you call them consultants, that makes them better trained or same old nurses with a bigger name.....nobody is against a specialist nurse but nurse consultants is a misnomer

Pharmacists are very important in patient treatment....and yes, we doctors do rely on them for advice.(I am grateful to a hospital pharmacist who pointed out an error in one of my prescriptions once)

Who said they are not important at all, i also relied on a hospital cleaner to tell me that i was not well covered ( torn gloves)while handling an ebola patient....does that make such a person want to head a hospital

Well, some of them do undergo training too...serious training(After all, you do need a lot of knowledge of basic medical science to run a lab!And some lab techies are university graduates....the guy who headed the hospital lab where I did my housejob was a graduate.)

I said some are now graduates and off course bar tenders undergo serious training

See my previous comment.....and they do help us docs prescribe right too(The good ones at least).

Infact most are good at their jobs but what do they do.....everybody is good at handing out something

Now that's not true...I have friends who are pharmacist....including one who recently got a PhD in the subject...and she never wanted to be a doctor...na pharmacist from day one.(And I too wanted to be a pharmacist....but thanks to advice from a medical doc friend of my parents...).

I said most of them not all and most nigerian know this

In America, hospitals are not run by medical doctors....they are run by hospital administrators...and hospital admin is a course on its own (Chris Ngige , the politician, is a trained medical doctor with a diploma in hospital administration). As a doc, I don't mind a nurse running a hospital...so long as s/he does not interfere with my clinical decisions(Plus, any good administrator would give leeway to his or her expert employees).

The question is would they not interfare and if they do and they are heading it, what will you do? Cmon nigeria is not america....hsopital admistration is an MBA course geared towards profit making not effective management of a government hospital

Still, the issue really is funding....and the fact that in this country we have a funny idea about titles and salaries. Both need revamping.

Funding is always an issue everywhere....even in usa
(I am a medical doctor....and a NMA member).

I am a physiotherapist, a molecular biologist .....and a full johesu member and i dont think you are a doctor because your logic stinks unless you are a bush quack as your username implies
Chai, @chinaimporter, importer & exporter, general merchandise. You should have kept quiet instead of exposing your ignorance further. I thought your first post was a mistake, you were corrected but refused correction. Obviously if an error is spotted in your prescription and you're advised accordingly your response would be it doesn't matter. I don't want to conclude that you're a quack, product of many extra years. You sound like a danger and a misfit in the health sector if you could write all that about other health professionals and I therefore call for a review of your certification for clarity purpose. Pls stop your "chinko'' services for conscience sake

I'm neither a physician nor a johesu member but a concern citizen that is well informed of happenings in the health sector. Pls change your reasoning and stop importing "chinko" comments here

70k will go a long way. Acceptance, school fees, accommodation, faculty and departmental dues, SUG. But remember you also need to stock your room of food items, transportation to and fro within and outside the campus, photocopies of materials, textbooks, laboratory manuals (for scientists), lab coats, etc cheesy Sincerely, it's difficult to quote any amount because department varies but generally, 70k should cover registration

bitterpenis: It's not about religion nor tribe or region, it's about leadership, it's about integrity, only those without conscience will support the government of the day, even though the opposition might be worse off, one should be able to condemn what is bad.....because the Muslims in the north don't publicly abuse or insult their leaders doesn't mean other religions shouldn't, if they don't, well probably because the Muslim leaders do not give room to its followers for insults, if the Christian faith were to defend themselves they will do it individually, and not secretly by a supposed head of Christian churches in Nigeria.....the other faith doesn't want him to fail, let's assume they do, he is not even helping matters, he is not trying to succeed.... a true Christian will criticise his/her leader when not on track, a true Christian will not support violence or evil, a true Christian will not kill, a true Christian should have a conscience and always stand for the truth and what is just
I partially agree with your post. But I hope you are current? The arms are not for christians, they belong to the millitary and that has been confirmed by many reliable sources. But are you condemning Jonathan or CAN president? If you condemn any of them at this point of Nigeria then your confession of faith should be reviewed. If you have a bus and you hired it out and the 2nd party further gave it out to a 3rd party, as the owner do you know who and who boarded your bus? 2ndly, even if Ortsejafor volunteered his jet for the govt to buy arms to crush terrorists in nigeria, it is worth it bcs of number of christian casualties so far in boko haram daily attacks, even if other pastors cannot CAN president should if there's a need for it.

We should thank God that we have christians in few strategic positions of authority in this country, if not only God knows what nigeria would have become today. Insurgency started when obasanjo (a christian became the president) and they clearly stated that they want nigeria to become an islamic nation or that Jonathan should turn to a muslim, did we hear anything from the quarters of those desperate leaders that are now criticising Jonathan. What is the meaning of POWER MUST COME BACK TO THE NORTH, many of these leaders are the ones sabotaging the efforts of the FG and makes it look as if nothing is being done. I tell you even if a respected Pastor E.O Adeboye is the president of Nigeria, northerners and some people in the south will criticise him and make people doubt his PhD credibility. That is why I personally cannot support any of those leaders for anything. Bros think and pray, all I want for nigeria is that we see ourselves as one, no one threatens the other and that no one is seen as a second citizen in his father land, nigeria belongs to all nigerians North, West, East and South, nobody is BORN to RULE. Let there be peace in Jesus Christ name

beopened: When God was distributing intelligence......The Jonathanians including FFK were absent hence this silly attempt to spin, embellish and cover up a most heinous crime of both Ayo OritseJETfor backed by the clueless one

If you think we Christians will be fooled into supporting a useless man who parades himself as a man of God when we know that he is nothing but a street hustler in the sinful temple of crass partisanship having left his initial calling, then religious bigots like FFK who we all know is as duplicitious as anything should check their heads very well
Think straight bro, why are you biased in your mind, what is his initial calling? Is he contesting, what is wrong if a religious leader whose members are badly affected is giving back up and encouragement to the president to win the war against insurgency. If other pastors can't go to visit the president frequently, can't CAN president also go. How do you want to fight your own good fight of faith, is it by carrying weapons? Or should we wait until boko haram restricts all christians from worshipping their God. Have you ever listened to Shekau talks about the christians? Is it bcs you are in the south and you are least affected by insurgency attacks, have you ever seen any of the videos of the people that were slaughtered like chickens for being christians or is it an offence to have a christian president in nigeria? Haven't you seen the sultan of sokoto with mr president before?

Boko Haram is a common enemy that threatens the unity of nigeria and genuine muslims are against killings of innocent fellow human beings but sadly you are not. I have relations that are muslims and christians alike and I am not ready to loose any of them to terrorism bcs they are so dear to me, but remember that some people loose husbands, wives, parents, children, etc daily to insurgency attacks.

Pastor Ortsejafor's involvement has been clearly stated, if you can't comprehend it yet, then keep quite and stop inciting sane people on this thread.

The millitary chiefs came out to say they need supplies of ammunitions urgently and that america and other countries are not responding well due to protocols and other logistics involved, should the millitary retreat and tell nigerians that they can't protect us again because they have no arms. When some people came out months ago to say that shekau men are more equipped than the millitary, you know what you said at that time, when the FG applied for loans to buy fighter jets recently, people like you said what for that they should account for the ones collected earlier (fine, some top officers may be corrupt which is not acceptable) but won't you drive away the fox first before dealing with the fowl.

One should just do what is right and ignore people like you, you can't be satisfied

Hmm, you have two highly competitive options in your hand just like that, you must be a smart chap, it's great. Now, if your first application into NDA was successful would you have written utme for medicine while in NDA? Picture where you'll be after graduating as a doctor and where you'll be after your commissioning as a soldier, then decide where you actually wanna be. Having said that, NDA has age limit but you can study medicine at any reasonable age, you can apply for medicine through Direct Entry after your NDA programme provided you studied a related course. By the way, why didn't you finish medicine and apply through DSS? Believe me nobody can tell you specifically to do this or that because it's about fulfilment of purpose, passion and ambition. Only God and you can. Pray and fast about it and do not joke about any revelation in form of dream, advise, message and peace of mind you have concerning any of the two at the period you fast and pray.

Above all, be passionate about God, serve Him, live in holiness and fear God. Accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and he will guide you in the way you should go. Gud luck

handie: I'm a final year student and honestly, my GP ain't as good as I wish. I'm contemplating dropping some courses and rewriting them next session to boost my GP. please can I resit those exams and still go for NYSC that same year? I talked to my course adviser about it and he said i'll be able to go with the next available batch once my result is out. pls is this possible? what is your advice to me? N.B: I'm 20 years old
My bro, pls plan it well, your future matters, nysc is not the main thing. Make your result first, get the BEST POSSIBLE out of school and you'll be happy, fulfilled and proud of yourself for the rest of your life. You have enough time for nysc (I'm not encouraging you to waste time) but what is the joy of presenting a pass certificate for example in nysc camp where some people proudly bagged 1st class from good schools, fulfilling courses.

Parley your course adviser, let him know your intention, ask for his advise, if he's a good type he will guide you in choice of courses and electives, he knows lecturers to avoid at this stage.

You also need to work harder knowing your target, you can't afford to have a C in any course at this stage again, a C is failure. Above all pray, pray, pray and serve God in holiness and righteousness. In-case you have not given your. Life to Jesus pls do and all these things (God's favour) will automatically follow you and you will be free the rest of your life.

Pls pardon my religious bias, I can only give you the trusted and tested formula that I know. Good luck

Yea, tell them you want to verify/confirm if your transcript has been received by the admission office. Tell them when your school sent it (or how you submitted it), they will likely ask you to check a register of all the transcripts received by them.
If you didn't tell them you've sent it and you want to know if they received it or not, they won't take you seriously.

pls people, I need responses and advice fast
Which scratch card? If you're talking about online submission of results and biodata, it has closed. You did not need any scratch card just a payment of 3k @ any of the designated banks and you get the PIN to enter the page on UI website where you'll upload your details. Only the admission officers at UI can answer your question

Marc9: It's high time people started developing their sense of understanding!
That story pointed to d fact dat the d guy and d gal refused to let go of their dreams, even when they didn't merit it. They didn't just sit at home hoping for miracles to happen! They WORKED towards it!
Sm1 must hv one time or d other given u a banana, and wen he did, didn't u peel off d epiderm to expose d eatable part of d banana(point of d story)?
Next time, read btw d lines. The morale or lesson frm dat true story is...... Don't lose hope even wen d situation seems hopeless...... . Was dat too hard for u to comprehend? smiley
Hmm....thanks for your advise Marc9, but I don't think I insulted you in any way in my write up, I only gave my own experience of the point you raised over what used to be and I gave some of the reasons why they are not obtainable again, who cannot comprehend or read between the lines now between the two of us? It's not even an argument but opinions, even intellectual argument does not call for insults. Anyway, I have no issue with you
