The only person I know from Lagos last reached out when he got within few feet of the gate and that’s the last I heard from him. I think it’s safe to say we wouldn’t be allowed to use phones when we resume next eeek also.

Hi Everyone! Congrats to does who got in....have been following these trend for a year now,and have enjoyed every bit of it and most all, lots of lessons have been learnt. Thanks to you all.
So my questions;
1. Do i need to finish nysc before i can apply cause am a fresh graduate in economics.
2.How much do they pay officer cadet? And also 2nd lieutenant?

PLS YOU'LL JUST GOING TO NDA TO DO US WELL BY UPDATING US WITH WHATS GOING ON INSIDE,SO WE CAN BE MORE PREPARED.THANKS AND MAY GOD PROTECT YOU'LL
boss you better just finish and apply for civil jobs and make this money you so obviously want to make... There are better jobs that are also risk free...most of the people in the service now, even if they reduced salary to half, they'll still serve..cos that's what they passionate about..find your passion and florish!

Hi my pple i wanna ask a question here

How does NDA go to ur former school for ur records whether u were good or bad during ur academic days?

I was told by a frnd tht NDA must go to each nd every one’s school for his/her records
they will go to check the authenticity of your certificate and know If you really went there...if the school isn't popular, they will check for it's accreditation.

U see for Some the Rush is not really for them to resume but rather. To know whats in for them, Not many are currently employed while some left their jobs to go for the screening, So the earlier you know your fate on the Nigerian Army job the better.
I left my job to go for the screening...I'm currently not employed too but my friends that passed medicals and are also not employed are relaxing, exercising and waiting.. it's that simple..the truth is, you'll need far more than this excitement when you get there ..that place is bloody ..
You'll need all the mental and physical strength you can summon..

Oh, I didn't know. I was basing my theory on that because they were having a hard time giving us accommodation during second batch. We were moved from candidates hostels after medicals, and the cadet hostel was not enough for all of us.
this was because of the chief of army staff conference that was held...the rooms we were staying were given to all the escorts that came with senior officers..that's why they had to move you guys..the truth is efcc must go before you resume...this one that they intend to take 500-600 cadets..
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC 2016/2017 Forum by sikowitz17: 6:49am On Jan 07, 2020
You people that should see the delay as an opportunity to gain gas and relax...you want to resume cadet training in the harmattan?
The cold on its own is a reason why cadets dash...the watering parade you'll first week of resumption alone would tell on you!

Gain gas...wait and pray! But no
Is you that will be going to news paper stand every morning..

And the other guy that talked about the efcc passing out might be right...they currently stay in what is supposed to accommodate officer cadets..they occupy your battalion headquarters, (Ashanti) they use both coys as well...they'd have to leave before you get there..(not certain)

And the baba that mentioned major Ango saying 10th...major Ango is not military secretary ooo...as it is now, even the board chairman might have little information on the possible release date because the process is out of their hands now and it's in the army HQ's.

The army can bloody we'll decide to release it 3rd week of January and you'll resume last week.

Nothing is guaranteed...so it's best to not be forcasting like it's betting...and just simply wait..if the list is released what difference does it make if you see it first or last? You will see it...
so why buy unnecessary job and be running to check every morning only to be selected and then report and then have high BP and be sent back...you better calm down and drink water..

Exactly. Do USMA Westpoint cadets do this? Is this how to serve taxpayers? By making a fool of yourselves and causing pain and anguish to motorists?

What if a pregnant woman was in Labour and had to get to the hospital fast? What if accident victims were short of time in that traffic?

Are they better trained than USMA Westpoint cadets or Sandhurst Cadets? NO....

Officers ought to be trained to be gentlemen and not to show off false bravado. They ought to even be in traffic situations and help control traffic to make it flow smoother and not to inflict more pain on road users. This apocryphal show of strength doesn't make you a better leader or a better fighting man (in battle).

Nonesense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
small talk you'll be bringing american standard into conversations that you clearly don't know anything about...you know you could just join the US Marines or go to West point..be claiming Western supremacy to our small and developing nation..

been long i spoke here ...but lemme just drop this....all dox pipo claiming wrong and right dey lie....brother of Dem been enter academy Dem go do worse.... Those who knows know that plumming is compulsory....those boys are plumming...some of them don't even want to do it but out of compulsotion for Senior cadets in their location, they must do it....my younger brothers did it, anybody here will av done so aswell....make una dey complain wetin una no no....oga Tomi leave Dem to deir moralty....Dem go soon go afaka, deir mouth go only be yes sir yes sir to this children wer go be their prep wingers....noise makers everywhere....enter army and you go see saw.....Dem Neva no anything....
lol brother leave them and their high moral..people just like to comment on stuff when they've first hand not been part of something .. during my clownship, all states and their village men that didn't participate in this parade would be made to suffer in all the battalions....these boys didn't have a choice...and that oga that said he's an ex boy...in stating it for a fact that it was the ex boys and the ex jams among us that were facilitating the entire thing...same thing with our seniors then . Leave matter for Mathias...I still stand and say, if you were a regular cadet, you'd have done it..

Lol all this long talk about these cadets ...lol they've started their military career...let's be on nairaland claliming right and wrong...

It's simple...you don't agree doesn't mean it's a tradition they will stop...
Besides I never said it was right I just told you to try and understand it..

Big big English and grammarians na him full here...
I'm still telling you for a fact that if you entered NDA as a regular, you'd be in that video...

But no...let's claim this high moral standard and continue to ride on this high horse....

It's bad for cadets to beat their juniors ..but most of you here were beating your juniors in secondary school but you know...since there's no record of it, high moral standards..

Until you wear the uniform, never ever abuse a man who has done what you are trying to do...cos you'd never understand..

The rest of you can continue your okoto mew mew discussions ....

Wasn't there a time when cadets wrre beaten to death during "welcome beating" the academy abolished it...did it stop?

Na una ooo...High standards fc..
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC 2016/2017 Forum by sikowitz17: 4:10am On Jan 04, 2020
Those of you that are saying negative stuff to those cadets that blocked the road should try and understand something before you pass judgement...
It has always been a tradition for nms boys that get into NDA..and they've been doing it for more than 10 years now ...I have several videos of it..I even have one Currently that the NDA cadets were joined by NPA cadets and they blocked the road together...if you were a regular, you'd do it after clownship so just leave those boys, they just got their uniforms after so many months..as at when we were at the screening, they were still wearing salala like us..many of them with their broken arms and legs in MRS...
Let them enjoy their life...they mistake they made is posting the video..now segalink on Twitter wants to get them withdrawn from NDA...

Well make una Sha enter first...all this talk go stop when these same boys we dey block road open belt for your neck as prep wingers...

You think they are small now, you'll see them like God's till they go in March..
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Nigerian Army SSC And DSSC 2016/2017 Forum by sikowitz17: 8:42am On Jan 03, 2020
Well I've seen navy and airfoce special forces, those ones kinda have night vision Googles and are somewhat kitted ...Buba was special forces and didn't go to any eastern country to receive training...I think they were trained here..I understand Ugos point, I really do but it's true..the army had fallen sir! It's been reduced to crumbs... remember dasuki that contracted out the security to South African machineries and we're being paid $400 daily..and around that time, we lost 2 soldiers to thirst...no water to drink..
The same dasuki that people are jubilating his release...the navy seals record deaths but won't make it public...the same way they didn't release the names of the seals that took out Osama, is the same way they keep death out of the reach of the media...infact there was a document that leaked that had the name of the seal commander that led the team and he was brutally murdered..Marines die everyday...same thing with every other branch of the US armed forces...it's the same as Nigeria here..me I'm just sad that my friend died..it just made me realize how much I need to check up on the others remaining at the front lines..
I wish you guys well in the pursuit of this job...I'd definitely try again when the form is out...but I've dropped my "combatant craziness" and I'd just have to settle for the other..
