funny thing is I posted I think around 2015 here on nairaland that I was going to create a group for intending officers..he along side 3 others reached out from here that they want to be added..
I added all 4 of them and some other guys and we all became very good friends...4 of them got shortlisted and made course 44, passed out and we're so happy..I remember complaining to him about my BP issue that army issued me and he just told me to wait for God's time..I called and spoke to him on Christmas day to wish him Merry Christmas as I did the other officers on the group...now scrolling on Twitter on the 28th and I saw his pictures with the caption, RIP! Ah I wan mad..

Immediately dialed his number..switched off...I placed a call to the other course 44 officers and they said he was dead and they till now still don't know under what circumstances he died..

I'm just staring at his WhatsApp, the last messages we had, calling him when we were in NDA for the screening to congratulate him on getting his new star.. This life na beans..

I want to believe his death could be totally avoidable but God knows best..

I have finally come to terms that my friend lieutenant Hamza Buba is dead..was buried yesterday after he was killed in action...Rest well sir...we will never forget you!
SSC course 44 feels it.

Oh and the new commandant of nda has declared planting season officially open again...in his own words..

The army is bent on killing this passion but na lie...I must get it...if I don't get it here, I'd get it abroad...all I need to do is walk into a recruiters office in the US and it's that simple...6 weeks training...I'd join the US Marines..

Is because you told him the truth. One of my state guy during ssc 45 told the psycho officer that he smoke before but he stop 6month again. The guy is now a 2nd Lt.

You morale was roof-breaking. It is quite unfortunate that this course ended this way for you.

But i implore you not to take it hard on yourself. There is a reason for everything. God has bigger and better plans for you. Or perhaps, it just wasnt your time to get it.

boss I've not relented oooo...it's just tiring... spending money to kaduna and buying stuff..I legit left my job for it cos there was no way they were giving me 2 weeks off...but I'm still hopeful for course 47
Age is Still on my side so I can try again..the only fact is my guys that made 45 would be getting ready to hand full lieutenant by the time I'd be leaving officer cadet training...and that's if I get in for course 47..
And that's if they recruit next year too...but God knows..we wait and see..

It can happen, for some body to resume training without doing NASB but there are ailments that can't be overlooked, I.e HIV,Hepatitis B and coronary Heart Disease, because the God father will not risk d life of d candidate for allowing him to train with such ailments,
A Candidate from my state was evicted for Under weight and Loss of 2 teeth, His brother meet COAS and told him d problems, COAS said d candidate is not fit, that he can't be considered, and that NAMC standard must be ensured..........

na because the brother no get level...

I hope people from the first batch know that some people from their states still came for the second batch...some of these people didn't even apply..
I had a long conversation with one of them...let's just say this process isn't as fair as we thought it was..This country is fugged!
I was dropped saying I had high BP..

But was never called for medical review..
Everyone that had one issue or the other was called for review not me..

Last minute, the day the results were to be announced, they began Calling some people openly into the board room for examination..

After they called the results and I waited to know what my issue was...the doctor called 4 numbers that weren't called Initially for failed medicals..they passed them...

But we're still on his own list...mans now called me and stated for the paper for like 15 seconds looking around..he now said high blood pressure..
I just laughed..

I met a friend who made course 45, resumed cadet training and was withdrawn 5 months into training...he came for course 46 screening and passed medicals again...
He shared some of his experiences with me as a cadet, what he saw in those 5 months, showed me some videos and mhen! I began to doubt if I was strong enough to handle it..
He mentioned that one cadet was watered to death...inside the cold that these men would go and experience in January...they will face watering parade..wo! Good luck to you guys..I'm changing my strategy next year..

in the academy, cadets train cadets...so the first 3 month of short service resumption...a selected few of about 20 or less cadets would be sent to the old site to stay and train you...one terma 4...prep wing commander...4 terma 3 and lots and lots of terma 2 guys...those terma 2 guys are your problem..cos they were clowns who were throughly health with and they just got into their second year..and guess what, they told them to come and deal with you..I'm talking 17/18 yesterday old demons...you will feel it..

Resumption, your problem would be there terma 2 prep wingers that will come with their prep wingers commander..
That first 3 months that they would be with you would be bad...very very bad!
But just brace up and be prepared..people have done it..you will do it.

Also, I am trying to get used to hunches, situps and press ups. I am targeting 50 every day. Is that enough?

All good shaa...I met great people from here in kaduna and I hope the ones that didn't get screened out make the final list ..

We just ground yansh since morning...still doing documentation... Some states about to start medicals..

Cos I and my friend would be dropped off by a senior military officer tomorrow too as well...doesn't mean there's anything extra..
