He continued spraying water in the car, not minding if the chiefs cars parked beside him.....

Taka quickly spun round to face him, the hose in his hand, before he could drop the hose down, water escaped from it and it drenched Chief Joseph body.....

Chief Azuka who parked his car beside chief Joseph knitted his brows as he look at Chief Joseph body....

"How dare you.... "Chief Joseph raved....

Taka quickly dropped the hose on the floor and knelt down, the water from the hose flowing freely into the ground......
"Am sorry sir, it was a mistake....."Taka pleaded

"Take a good look at my shirt..., see what you've done to my dress..... "

"Am sorry sir,please forgive me sir..... "

"What nonsense.... "Chief Marcus hollered........ "Didn't you look where you were spraying your water.....?

The guards quickly grab Taka and took him out........

Kess swallowed and spun round to face him...

"Your house seem different ...."Philip said...... "Seem neat, did someone visit....?

Kess grunts wishing and praying silently everything doesn't go to hell.......

A wry smile made way to Philips lips...... "What made you arranged the house.... ?

"I had some visitors over, so i had to do it..... "Kess said.....

Philip nib his lip and handed the food to him... "I thought you will be hungry...... "

Silence descended as dust rose around them....

The Elephant was so close that Qetsiyah could see individual hairs poking out of it's leathery skin, two egrets rode on his shoulders and tracks of dark moisture leaked like tears from behind his ears..
The bull raised it's truck, catching their scent and his ears flapped out wide, the egrets took flight....

Qetsiyah heart began to slammed against her ribs, her heartbeat raced rapidly almost bursting out of her chest...

"Don't move.... "Brad whispered

She couldn't even if she tried, she was paralyzed with fear, her attention shifted to the animal's tusks,then to the moisture tracking through gray dust on the inside of the bull's back legs... His penis arched almost to the ground..

The bull flapped his ears in and out, swayed his tusks

Slowly, Carefully, Brad shifted the gears into reverse but before he could even touch the gas, the bull's ears flattened against his head and he curled up in his truck, lowering his head.... He waited, study them, then with a mighty thud, he began to give them a chase..

"Oh hell... "Brad whispered hitting the gas...."He's coming.... "

She rolled her eyes around, studying the room, it wasn't the room Pious had given her in the mansion, just then she quickly brood over what happened...., she had called Kess, he came but...

She snorted when nothing but total darkness surfaced at the rest of her thoughts....
She wince as she struggled to stand up, she quickly stare at her hand, it wasn't bleeding anymore but it was plastered , just then she saw blood stained cotton wool on a tray...

She quickly quivered, stare at her hand again.....
With pain webbing through her injured hand, she stood up from the bed, scan her eyes around again, the room was scattered, clothes littered everywhere, a police uniform hung on the wooden hand of the wardrobe....

Wondering where he is, she staggered out of the room and quickly made her way into the palour....
She exhales and threw herself on a chair......
She gaze at her plastered hand again,the muddy sand has been cleaned from her body leaving only the ones on her shirt that seem stuck on it...., she scan her eyes around,she shudder when she saw the blood on the floor, on the chair, she wonder if that was her blood.......
She stood up from the chair and took a step, inclined to look out from the window...
She shudder when the door opened.....
She sigh, a sigh of relief when she realise it was Kess....

"What are you doing...? Kess said dropping the nilon bag he was carrying on a chair close to him.....
He rushed to her side and helped her back on the chair.... "Are you okay.... ?he ask checking the bullet wound on her hand...

Sonia quickly nodded with tears, scared, tears wrecking her face, spines,she quickly hugged Kess, holding him tightly....

Tension paralyze him, for a moment he stood still, couldn't move, the enormity of the effect of her touch running deep in him....,slowly he wrapped his hands around her, letting her tear flow and drop on his shoulder......

For a minute, they remained in the warmth of the embrace until Kess ringing phone disrupt the fun......

Slowly, Kess let go and quickly brought his phone out from his pocket....
He frown when he saw the caller,it was Philip....
"Don't say anything... "He said to her, snorted and answered the call.....

"Where are you man, the nurse said you rushed out of the hospital"Philip said from the other end

Kess grunts, a feeling of bitterness towards the thought that Philip might be the mole crawl it's way into him....... "I just went out to get some things, am on my way to the station...... "

His heart gladened as he saw his parents through the window..

Not waiting to hear an answer, she hugged him, her mind brooding back to what happened at the cementary, it chased tears back into her eyes, she sniff as a layer of tear drop down..... "Are you okay...?

Mr Lemuel walked towards the broken window, he wondered if it was the same person that had murdered the woman at the cementary that came to his house.....

He thought maybe she hasn't arrived yet, he wanted to go inside the shop but no,he decided to take a stroll around until she shows up..

He wonder what the surprise was, he moved a few paces away from the shop, he was inclined to call her, ask her why she was delaying....
He exhales, then he brought out his phone and dial her number.....

"Sh*t...!he muttered when the number was unavailable

He decided to go back to the ice-cream shop when he felt someone finger on his shoulder...

Fear gripped his spines as he spun round to see a masked face standing in front of him...

Without hesitation, he turn round to run away but the person grabbed him by his shirt and quickly pushed him on the floor.....

Noah landed hard on the floor..., with anger sparkling through his eyes, he stood up and turn to face him..... "Who the hell are you....? He ask with fierce energy..

He shivered as he saw three more masked men coming from different directions, they were all wearing blacks...
He stood motionless, fear sinking deep into him....

"Look i don't know who you are, i only came here to see a friend, just let me go....."

"She's not coming.... "One of them said

Shock swept through Noah, they knew he was coming to see Tessy, they've been waiting for him, it was a trap.....

With shaking mouth he ask... "What do you want from me....?

He weigh the pros and cons of how he was going to escape.... But before he could devise any plan, one of them threw a punch at his right cheek sending him off balance.....

Noah wince at the pain, his tooth, his chin, his face feeling the wrath of the blow..., he spat out, great anger overwhelmed him pushing him to punch him back..

"Look whatever this is about, we can solve it amicably.... "He said,exasperation in his voice...

The person punch him again and Noah went off balance, blood gushing out from his mouth, his nose...

Noah touch his bleeding nose, he spat out more blood, his tooth was hurting, he couldn't take it anymore, he realise trying to resolve issues with this guys was probably a waste of time, in situations like this, violence was always the answer...

He regained his balance, and stare at the one who punched him with furious eyes.... "You want to fight, let's fight then... "
With those words, he punched him back without hesitation ...

The person wince as Noah's fist landed in his face....

"How does that feel like.....? Noah ask angrily

The four of them quickly pounce on him, Noah try to fight back but he seem powerless against the four of them..

They kicked and punched him until he fell to the floor...

One of them went ballistic and hit him hard with a wood.......

Noah groan in pain as the wood landed in his rips....., another fatal blow landed on his face, his face bloodied, he couldn't breathe as they took turns kicking and punching him....

"F*ck you..... "One of thel yelled and spat on Naoh's face...

Another one kicked him hard on his face...

They stopped as they heard police sirens...

"Let's go guys... "One of them said, he gave Noah one last kick and they quickly took off....

Slowly, everything began to turn black..., disappearing slowly..., Noah eyes began to shut down, just then he drowned into an oblivon of unconsciousness.....

Head spinning, legs trembling, hand bleeding, the bullet pricking her spines, Sonia staggered through the grasses.....
Exhausted, she stopped and rest her body on a tree.., she look around, then glanced at the bullet wound...
She look at the handcuffs on her hand, just then she heard the sound of moving vehicles....

She took a deep drag and began to staggered towards the road...
She fell down when she mis-step.....,she wince in pains as she struggled to stand up again,she grimaced and clattered back on the ground, skin pale and clammy....Her eyes have frozen over like the surface of a winter puddle, robbing them of their usual warmth.....

Slowly she tried to get up but quickly realized how futile it was when she had to bit her lip to keep her from crying out. Sharp pain lanced through her head and colorful spots flashed in front of her eyes, it felt like her whole body had been beaten and every movement caused some muscle or bone to ache. Regardless, she needed to get out of the bush...out of sight from the police and Carlos thugs..

Wincing In pain she try to stand up again.., she groan and finally rose to her feet....., the bullet wound spiked a great pain through her....

Tears of rage, blood.., mud tangling her hair,her whole body drenched with it...., she struggled to trot towards the road.......

She breathe heavily,she quickly ran into the road when she saw a vehicle approaching.....

The driver quickly hit on the brakes almost hitting her....
Infuriated, the driver came down from the car...... "Are you crazy...... "He raved..

The driver scan his eyes at her, his eyes drool on the handcuffs, the blood sheening down from her hand, her muddy self and he quickly registered what was going on...... She is a criminal.....

The two sergeant in the police car quickly step down from the car and opened fire.......

Ted came out from hiding and fired back.....

The sergeants hid behind the police car... as bullets hit the cars, almost crashing down the front strong windshield....

Kess fired back and Ted drew back, hiding himself in the back of his vehicle....

With throbbing heart, Sonia quickly rushed down from the car and took off into the bush....

The moment he took a step to run after her, a bullet from Bobby's gun hit him and he fell to the floor......

The sergeant opened fire again and Bobby hid back...

Ted opened fire again and the sergeant and Philip quickly hid themselves on the back of the car.... Windscreens breaking and falling to pieces on the floor.....

Just then, Ted and Bobby quickly rushed into the bush and began to give Sonia a chase...

"Come-on man breathe...... "Philip said holding Kess who was panting heavily..., his heartbeat beating rapidly... Blood gushing down from his arm...

Philip came out of hiding....... "You follow me, you stay with the inspector and call the ambulance... "

With those words, one of the sergeant followed Philip into the bush while the other ran to Kess side...

Philip look around when they were inside the bush.... "Go that way while i go this way.. "

They both walk separate ways each holding their guns firmly....

She quickly tiptoed to Pious room....
She turn down the knob, she sigh, a sigh of relief when she realised the door wasn't locked.... Without hesitation, she pushed the door open and closed it when she was inside....

Her eyes drool around the big room, the white bedsheets scattered on the bed....., she thought of where he could be hiding the gun...
Without hesitation, she began searching,she started with the bed drawers, then the mirror drawer...

She could feel her heart pulsing but she didn't care, she needed to find the gun, destroyed the man who has been giving her sleepless nights......
When she found nothing but wristwatches, necklaces and other things in the drawer... She stood, exasperation licking through her.. She took a deep drag brushing her hair with her palm....

She quickly trot towards the wardrobe....., her eyes scan the pile of clothes that were hung inside.....
She crounched down and began checking the suitcases...., throwing anything that was blocking her on the floor...

In a rush she checked all the suitcases but the gun wasn't in any of them....
