The guard didn't move... He stood shaking waiting for the kings order.....

Desmond heart skipped as he saw her coming.. He bug his eyes when he saw the suitcase she was carrying... Beside her was the boy she claimed is his son and another girl...., he quickly recognise the other girl.... Bianca...., the girl who didn't like him or he didn't care...

He glance at Claude who was looking at them.... He exhales and shift his gaze back at them as they close the distance between them....

"There is something i need to tell you..... "He muttered....

"Is that your son....? She ask

Shock swept through him.... "How did you know...?

"Liza told me..... "she replied shapily....

Zara and Bianca glared at them as they walk closer... Then they finally got to where they are.....

"I thought i made myself clear when i told you never to show your face here again....... "Desmond retorted......

Zara grunts as she face Claude.... Then she shift her gaze to Desmond...... ""You can't run away from your responsibility..... "

"Guards..... "Desmond shouted and three guards began to rushed in....

Claude felt pity for the boy who was clinging to his mother shirt..... "Let them stay...... "She said impetuously.....

Claude took a deep drag..... "Let them stay,at least for a while.... "

Desmond swallowed.... Rage swimming in him.. He glare at Zara then to Branca, then at the little boy.....

"Am letting you stay because the queen said so... Trouble anyone and you are out of here..... "

With those words, he stood up furiously and began to walk away.....

Claude puff as she called a guard to take her suitcase inside and give them a vacant room......

"Thank you...... "Zara said with clenched teeth

Claude smile.. Then she walk away.... She had no other choice but to let them stay.. She pitied the little boy but she need to find out if truly the boy is Desmond son.. Only them staying will make that possible...... If it turns out she's just a liar, she won't hesitate before she throw them out herself.........

Zara watch as a guard began to carry their suitcase inside....

"You thanked her......"Bianca said crisply........"She's the bitch who took your position, she should be the one leaving......"

Zara scoffs..... "You know the saying, keep your friends close but keep your enemies more closer.... She has no idea the plans i have for her........ Like you said, my son is going to be king..... ,and i will be the queen..., the only queen........ "

JOHN GRIND HIS TEETH AS HE STARE AT CHIEF BUZO HOUSE,IT WAS MASSIVE, look like a mansion despite not being one. Its beauty was indescribably wonderful to the eye: polished floors which are mirror-like, exquisite choice of paint colours, breathtakingly spectacular interior and exterior design that match like twins..........

He crocked his throat as he was serve drink.....
He smile and thank the thug then he glance at Annabel when Jacob walked inside......

"You really wanted to miss out of this.... ?he whisper to her...

Annabel hissed but didn't reply... She look away...

John scoffs and focus his eyes back on the drink....
He raise his eyes to the stairs...there he saw the chief coming down slowly, Jacob behind him.......

He smile and took a swig from the glass of expensive wine.. The only kind he will be having once his sister is married to the chief's son.....

"Chief..... "John stood up immediately walking towards him.. He shook hands with him..... And went back to where he was sitting......

Annabel went towards him and crunched down beside him and greeted....

The Call ended few minutes later.... He quickly spun round to face Samantha who was worried...

She remenbered how she had pleaded with Pious to help her parents escape from the community.. she knew for a fact that Carlos will find out she did it and he will go after her parents...

She remembered what had happened, how she had freed the queen and Sonia, it wasn't as she planned.. Her initial plan was to free them from the chains with the duplicate keys, then drugged Carlos thugs outside and lead the queen and Sonia to Pious men who will be waiting outside.....

But Carlos suspected her... He knew she was up to something so the bastard had someone watched her...
She was glad she found out on time.. So she decided to change plans...she did what Pious told her not to do.. She secretly went to the police....

She remembered how the person Carlos had assigned to watch her started following her the moment she got outside the gate....

She had manage to lost him on the way...... That was how she was able to get to the police station, luckily for her, she met the DPP who she narrated everything to... Every single thing the bastard had done to the queen and Sonia.....

"My men rented a house for them in the city,a place Carlos will never find them, you will be meeting them there....."

Enthusiasm wreck her face.... "Thank you.... "she said shapily....

"You did great Samantha.....? Edna cut in......

Samantha spun round to face her... Her eyes wet with tears..... "We wouldn't have come out from that place if it weren't for you...... "She added and quickly hug her....

Tears flowing from their eyes... They freed themselves from the embrace......

He quickly brood over the shocking news of his life. Carlos chained the queen..

He stare at the caller..... Without hesitation, he pick up the call... It was Rita....

"Hello my dear....."He said crisply with a smile surrounding his cheeks..

There was no reply from the other end.. Only silence.. The silence struck a reminder on him... How he'd propose to her and how she had drop his ring and ran out of the house

"Good afternoon Chief....."Rita voice finally sounded... Her voice was calm

The sound of her voice melted his heart..

"Does your proposal still stands...?

Shock engulfed.... he grim..."Yes... "

Silence came....... Then her voice sounded again... "I want to be your wife...... "

Trepidation sink into Mayo.. He couldn't believe it......"What did you say...?

Carlos curl his lips..... "Didn't you hear what i said......, until my lawyer comes, am saying nothing........ "

The DPO groan...... "You are daring me Carlos......,i see you want this the hard way....... "

Just then his Phone started ringing in his pocket, he wonder who was calling when he's in line of duty.. He hates it when people interrupt him when he's dealing with criminals.......

He took out the phone from his pocket, look at the number, it was an unknown caller....

Infuriated, he end the call....

"If i were you, i will answer.... It might be good news.... "Carlos said...

The DPO scoffs, then he scan his eyes on the wall... Weighing the pros and cons of the torture tool that will make him talk... He doesn't want to take him to court yet.. He wants him to suffer just the way he had suffered that poor woman and the girl......

He nib his lip when his phone started ringing again......
Infuriated he took the phone from his pocket again... Shock engulfed him when he realise it was his wife... He wonder why she was calling him now....

He hesitated a bit then answered the call.....

"Hello DPO..... "A baritone voice sounded from the other end....

The DPO heart skipped...... "Who is this, where is my wife....?

"Your wife is here..., she's fine for now.... "The voice sounded....

The DPO furrowed his brows..... "Let me speak to my wife.... "

"Please don't do what they will ask..... "His wife trembling voice sounded....

"Daddy......."His daughter voice sounded....

The DPO heart raced at tremendous speed....

"If you don't do as i say, they will be dead..... "The voice sounded again....

Heart throbbing..... Rage swimming in his eyes.. The DPO fold his fist..... "What do you want......?

"What we want is simple, release the chief......... "The voice said....

The DPO quickly shift his angry face to Carlos...... "That isn't possible....."

"Then am sorry, your wife and child have to die...... "The voice said....

The DPO heart almost burst out of his chest as gunshot sounded in the background....

He almosy collasped down as his wife and child begin to scream.....

"We will give you ten seconds to reconsider or you will be receiving their bloodied corspes....... "The voice said with fierce energy....

The DPO growled then he ended the call........

Rage burned in his eyes......"If you dare kill my wife, i will kill you with my barehands........... "

Carlos gave him a taunting wicked laugh...

A great anger washed through the DPO, he quickly pull out his gun and point it to Carlos head.......

"If you kill me, your family dies....."Carlos said with clenched teeth..... "I know you already lost one family, are you willing to lose another..... ?

Carlos quickly shift the gun from his forehead......

"Look DPO, i like you, you see i try to do this the simple way, i made calls but it seem you didn't listen to your superiors so i had no choice but to do this the local way........"

"Where is my wife and child.....? The DPO ask infuriated still pointing the gun at him.....

"I don't know, but i know one thing, if am not out of here in the next fifteen minutes,the men who took your wife and daughter will kill them.... So what do you say DPO, should i remain here or i should just go home and we will forget everything that ever happened here...... "

Just then the phone started ringing again.....

Anger surging through, The DPO answered the call...... "Fine, i will release the chief,let my wife and daughter go.... "

"Not so fast DPO..... "Carlos interjects........ "Just letting me go won't remove the stain you've imposed on my reputation....., so this is what you are going to do, you will go public and exonerate me,you will say everything was a mistake, then you will announce your resignation from the force.......,only then will your wife and daughter be released then we can all live happily ever after..... "

The DPO grunts as he glare at him... Anger boiling deep in him.. As much as he hated this moment.. He can't gamble with the life of his wife and daughter..... "Fine, i will do it....."

They went in and headed towards the threshold of the house...

She knit her brows and left the door post going to sit on a chair.....

Jasmine gave a sluggish yawn and peep through the window...... She quickly shift her gaze back to Mary...

He knocked again but no reply came, infuriated he peep from the window.... He blink when he saw three guys and one girl smoking and drinking......

"Na who be dat.....? A voice raved from the house...

Heart pounding... Francis shift away from the window but gave no reply....

"Na who dey spy for window.....? The voice came again.....

"It's me, Peter..... "Peter replied....

Silence came and it made Francis wonder what they were doing......

Just then the door flung open, what face them was the muzzle of the gun that was pointed at them......

Francis heart skipped... He took a deep drag, he knows at this point, been scared is not an option...

"Am a friend of Micah.... "Peter spoke up....

Francis fixated his gaze on the gun, then to the guy holding it,he was shirtless..., there was a lion tattoo on his chest... His trouser drag down exposing his bedspread boxers.....

The guy curl his lips....... Then he lower the gun......

He motioned for them with his head for them to come in....

Heart almost wrecking out, Francis followed Peter inside....

He couldn't stand the cigar odour... It was much.. Smoke from the cigarette dancing it's way into the air... It clouded the house.....

"Where is Micah....? Francis ask with pants breathe.....

The guy didn't reply,he just sat down and continue smoking....

Francis gaze roam from him to the next guy, the other guy face was rough, the smoke clouded his face... He exhales as his gaze shift to the girl... He wonder how the girl was so comfortable with them.... The girl wasn't smoking though, but the way she was looking, it look like she had drank alot....

He gritted as the smoke sniff it's way into his nose..... He quickly look at the other guy... He was dark.. Extremely black.. His face look scary and dangerous......

Just then he heard footsteps, he look forward and then he saw him coming from the dinning....... He quickly furrowed his brows as he glare at him....

"Don't do anything stupid.... "Peter whisper to him....

"P, Na wetin be dis na....? Micah boom out as he drew closer to them.....

"We need to talk Mike.... "Peter replied...

Micah suck his teeth then he stare at the other boys who quickly stood up with the girl and they walk towards the dinning......

EYES TWICHING,SLOWLY NOAH OPEN HIS EYES... he blink not sure where he was, he blink again wiping his eyes with his palm....

He rolled over.. Shock engulf him when he realise he was in a bed....

He quickly jump off from the bed.., how did he get back to his room......

Just then he heard his mother's voice....

He peep outside from the window, it was daytime already......

He snort wondering what happened the previous day....
Just then his head brood over the previous day event....he had followed Leonard and Shayna to the birthday party....

He couldn't face Shayna, so he had stood up.....
He puff as he remenbered what happened next...
His mother voice came again disrupting his thoughts....
He step out of the room to the kitchen where his mother was......

"Sleeping head, you finally woke up..... "Mrs Marpheson blared out...

Noah gave a sluggish yawn........

"What were you thinking getting drunk at a birthday party.....?

Irritated.. He broke the silence.... "Who are you.....?

"Tessy.....!..,Noah knit his brows..... "I don't know anyone by that name"

Pious swallowed hard.. Then he shift his gaze to Francis who drift his hands from Edna grasp...... And walk to Claude side....

"I will be fine mum..... "Francis muttered as his gaze met his mother's doleful eyes.....

This were the words that keep ringing in Desmond head as he took a warm shower.... The thought of his father in jail angered him...

Infuriated, he turn off the shower valve, grab a towel, dry his body and walk out of the bathroom naked with the towel in his shoulder....

He grunts when he couldn't find Claude... He wonder where she could have gone to...

Moments earlier he has gone out to the kitchen to see if any of the food was left to check for any content of poison... But the guards had shared the rest and threw fallen ones away leaving no trait of poison or anything that could aid it....

The thought of the prince coming back to reclaim his throne sent rage weaving through him...

The throne is his and the son he will bear with Claude will take over from him... He isn't going to stand up for any idiot......

With furious eyes, he drop the towel on the bed.. His d**k dangling between his legs.... He pick up a cream and applied a bit of it on his legs and face.. Then he cupped it back....

He check the wardrobe looking for some things to wear besides royal attire....

He quivered when the door flung open....

He took a deep drag, for a moment he thought it was his daughter... What would have happened if Liza had seen him naked.....

Claude gave him an askance look..... "Walking naked.... Seriously.....? She snapped averting her eyes from going down...

He smile.. All thoughts if his father and the problem at hand eluded him.....

He shrugged revealing his unclothedness even more....

Claude puff,close the door and threw herself on the bed... Her mind brooding over what happened at Pious house.. The reunion.....

The thoughts of her father quickly creep into her... She hasn't been in good terms with him since the dead Of Rick.... His father killed the love of her life and she will never forgive him for that.. Never.....

"So where did you go....?

She shift her gaze to him.. She sigh when she realise he has changed into shorts.....
"Took a stroll..... "She said crisply.....

He nib his lips then he climb into the bed with her.. Lying beside her.. Shirtless.... His long legs touch hers....... "A stroll..... "He said with pout lips caressing her hair

She shift away, she wasn't in the mood.... She quickly stood up from the bed leaving him there to his fantasies........

"Where did you go.....? Taka boom out the moment Francis entered the room...

Francis smile... Joy overwhelming him.. Clouding his sense of reasoning......

He kept smiling until he drop down on the bed...

Taka gave him an askance look wondering what was wrong with him..... "Are you okay....?

Francis didn't reply, he just kept smiling....

Taka grunts.... "Okay, so this is it.... You failed at such a simple task.. You disappeared for a while and then you came back smiling like who is going crazy.... "

"He's my brother..... "Francis interjects.....enthusiasm in his tone..... "I told you he's my brother..... "

"Did you go to the mansion to see him...?

"Not only him, i saw my mother too... She's alive.. I touched her, we hugged.... She's alive..... "

Taka nib his lips then he spun round walking to the door...

"Where are you going.....? Francis ask

Taka spun back to face him.... "To call for help..., it's obvious you are going crazy"

"No am not crazy... Am telling you the truth........, i saw her... My mother, my brother, my uncle and his wife they were all there..... My whole family...

"Did you also see your father.....? Taka ask abruptly

Francis knit his brows as the memory of his father began to swamped his head..... "My Father is dead... "He mutterrd fainly and sat back on the bed...

Taka puff, then he walk closer to him...... "Okay fine i believe you, you saw your brother, your mum and your entire family..... "

Francis gave him a hard glance.... "Do you think am making this up.... The queen took me there....."He blared out...

"Oh that explains why the king was searching for her and you..... "

Shock engulf Francis.... "He was searching for us.... ?

"Yes......, first it was the queen he was asking about... Then he ask me about you.... "

"And what did you tell him...? Francis ask shapily

"What was i supposed to tell him, you didn't tell me you were going to that mansion..... "He huff.... "I told him you were playing around somewhere....

"Playing...!,am not a kid.... "

"I couldn't think of any other thing and if Ferico Carter is your brother, why did you come back here to be a servant again.....?

Francis puff, he look away then to him again... "I can't stay with him, the chiefs will know we are brothers.... We must stick to our identity until all the chiefs are dead and unheard of..... So we decided to stay apart.. He will operate as Ferico Carter and i will operate as Octova..... From my father's palace..... "

Liza frowned her face as she couldn't get the puzzle right....
She glance at her father who she thought was hoping she arranges the puzzle...

She snort and put more effort.....

Just then a guard walked into the garden....

"Your majesty..... "The guard said......

Desmond didn't reply he just fixed his gaze on the puzzle Liza was arranging....

"Your majesty.... "The guard muttered again...

"What.... ?he retorted

The guard quivered at the sound of his voice..... "There is a lady and a little boy looking for you.... "

"Did they say what their name is....?

"No your majesty, she said it's a surprise.... "

Desmond exhales... Then he motioned for him to send them in....

The guard left immediately as he focus his attention back on Liza...

"I can't do this...."Liza said frustrated dropping the puzzle on the table

"Never say you can't there, you are a princess,you can do anything...... "Desmond said picking up the puzzle....
Just then he raise his head and look ahead... Shock grip him as he saw the girl coming...

Hands shaking, the puzzle slip from his hand....

Slowly... The distance between him and her began to close until she finally got to where he is...

Heart throbbing... Shock overwhelming him.. He muttered...... "Zara.. "

"So this is it, this is where you've been hiding...... "Zara snaled... Exasperation in her voice...

"Zaaa......"Desmond mouth shook, he couldn't form words..... "Zara.... "

"Don't Zara me.... "She retorted....."You left me in the city five years ago promising to come back,you never showed up..... "

"What are you doing here.....? Desmond blared out..

She scoffs, "What am i doing here?..... Just then she drag the little boy she was holding forward...... "I was pregnant when you left, That's your son Gerald.... "She said pushing the boy to him.....

"My what......? Desmond queried with eyes slack-jawed......

"Don't act like you didn't know i was pregnant when you left, that's the product of the pregnancy...... "She raved...

Desmond couldn't say anything, he look at the boy then at Zara...

"Hello....... "Liza interjects... Her voice on a high pitch..... "Are you saying my daddy is his daddy......?
