HOW DO I SHOW PROOF OF FUNDS UK?
In order to display exact financial proof, each applicant can do so by means of showing:
a) Bank letter, under you and/or your parents' name.
b) Bank account statement, under you and/or your parent(s)' name (Parent(s) must provide a letter confirming sponsorship)
c) Financial Sponsorship from an international organization approved by UKVI.

HOW MUCH IS PROOF OF FUNDS UK?
You must have enough money to support yourself while you are studying in the UK. How much money you need depends on where you will be studying.

TUITION/COURSE FEE
You need enough money to pay for your course for 1 academic year (up to 9 months). The amount you need to pay will be stated on your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).

LIVING COST
You'll need £1,334 per month (for up to 9 months) which is a total of £12,006 for courses in London.
£1,023 per month (for up to 9 months) which is a total of £9,207 for courses outside London

COMING WITH FAMILY/DEPENDENTS
You’ll need to prove you have extra money for each dependent/family member you bring with you.

The UKVI will check your bank statement for the minimum balance in your account for the 28 days preceding the closing balance of the statement. You must have a recent document from the bank that is dated within 31 days of the day you submit your online visa application.

Exception
You are exempted from this if you've been in the UK with a valid visa for at least 12 months on the date of your application.

ulster university london and birmingham deposit is now 5500 pounds not 2000

Please I need a quick response, Ulster University Birmingham fees seems to be really affordable less that £12k.. Does anyone have an idea of what they charge for initial deposit, also do they require POF before CAS?

Good morning guys, I got a conditional Offer from Ulster university on the 27th of April and I submitted all requested documents up till now I’m yet to get a response from them, What can I do to speed up the process ? I would appreciate swift responses.
N:B I applied for Mech Engineering while I also possess HND certificate in Mech, Can this be the reason cause a friend was telling me they issued conditional offer to everyone and they are just going through documents now, so they might not get back to me.

Easiest way for you to fasten your application are; doing your Tuberculosis Test any time from now or latest by June, start running your POF from June because you will definitely need your POF to apply for the CAS. Make sure you have all your documents at hand and carefully fill in the CAS Shield. If you will be submitting your Visa application yourself (Self Service), try and covert all your files to PDF format because you won't be able to upload Jpeg files.

When do you apply and what campus?
Ulster used to accept deposit of £2k last year but now, the minimum deposit is £5500.
Most of the present applicant for May session were unable to get a conditional offer and were advised to defer to September session.
September session sef don almost full or over full. If you want to stick with Ulster for London/Birmingham campus, you need to have at least £5500 for deposit and ready to fast track your application.
