millionaireman: When you refer to Orlu as village, you now confirmed what I said that Imo state is least developed, as Owerri is the only town with modern infrastructure. "Village" in my comment is subjective. You can call it my L.G.A. Where and where have you been to in Imo State for you to have concluded that Owerri is the only developed zone in Imo. I dont blame you, its Rochas that gave people like you the privilege to write sh***t about Imo State. |
Politics › Re: Okorocha Mobbed By Crowd During Inspection In Imo State.. Photos by silverspringle(f): 11:37am On Aug 28, 2016 |
millionaireman: The guy said last time he visited Imo state, he didn't say last time he visited Owerri. But you are replying the guy and putting Owerri in place of Imo state.
It's hard to understand what made some people see Owerri as the beginning and end of Imo state.
This attitude accounts for why Imo state remains the least developed among the states that were created same time with Imo, because since Abia was carved out of Imo state, Owerri was practically turned into becoming Imo state. No other area outside Owerri is allowed to have modernity from Imo state government.
Rochas Okorocha exacerbated and shot to roof top the policy of making only Owerri fit for modern development infrastructure since he joined APC Owerri is not the only developed zone in Imo State. There's no single port hole in my Village Ikeduru and same with my mum's village Orlu. I dont care what anyone is saying right now but i know Owerri is in a mess right now cos I ve been in owerri for some weeks now. It wasnt like that before. Rochas is not a "performer" like someone rightly said and thats why people resent him. He's trying so hard to be loved cos believe me he has lost it. Every road in Owerri has been destroyed in d name of constructing a better road. It doesnt make sense to me. |

nkemdi89: Discouraging truth, for those who want to go into cement business let me tell you the truth. 1 you can start with as low as fifty bags. 2 you may not necessarily need a shop just get pallets and trampoline. 3 get a supplier who buy directly from the company. 4 situate your business in areas havin g lot of construction works. 5 watch out for competitors especially in lagos as an average yoruba seller consider good customer relationship than profit, they can sell a bag for little profit. 6 mobility is very important, wheel barrow or van as most customers put the bulk of responsibility in supplying the goods on the traders. 7 don't involve yourself in cheating customers by reducing a sand bag to refil. 8 sell more than one product as bricklayers consider some good for plastering while some for moulding. 9 have more than one supplier as alhaji or baba rasheed may disappoint you. 10 reach out to builders, contractors and politicians for marketing. thanks a lot... What will be your advise to someone that wants to start up a cement business in owerri. Like where to get a genuine distributor? Which of d factories is closest to d east? What to expect? |

In Nigeria, Nnewi, Mbasi, Ile-Ife and Ijebu seems to be the most successful, popular and creative people in Nigeria.
I am sure Anambra profile will give Imo State a run...Anambra should be the number one state in Nigeria with the most prominent and successful people in all spheres of life.
Note: I am not from Anambra, but I love their financial success spirit, just like Mbaise people i disagree...Nkwere remain the most sucessful people from imo state...I represent Ikeduru L.G.A. We try small |

My dad is 63 and the highest thing he can ask you to wash for him is his handkerchief( that is...when we were still in the house o, now that most of us are married, he does that himself). He washes his clothes and send some to laundry. I dnt understand the type of men we have in recent times...very aggressive, zero tolerance, proud, abusive and lazy. This is because women spend so much time in teaching a girl child how to live with a man but failing to teach a boy how to live with a woman. When we were growing up, my brother hit my sis and my dad locked him up in police station. It was my mum that bailed him out and since then, he hasnt tried that on any woman. I dont get it, uou hit your wife forgetting your life is in her hands cos she makes your food. Men should go back to the drawing board and find out where they ve missed d point. |

I'm from Imo though i grew up in the north but you have to understand that this things happens everywhere. It is more pronouced in Imo cos you have a lot of higher institutions located at the capital city and no thanks to the state govt cos i see no reason why they should allow individuals build hotels here and there. Have u noticed that this things drastically reduced anytime higher institutions are on strike/vacation. |

See some Wizkid fans (obviously, the razz ones) attacking Linda like it's not her job to be brutally honest. Lol, the fact that she's mad rich is adding to the hating.
