Some people argue that keeping the fuel around half-tank reduces the weight of the car, thereby increasing fuel economy. That's why they buy little fuel to keep the fuel around this level.
I think the theory has some merit.
quite intresting- having about 50litrs of fuel is a lot of weight anyway.

Since it's difficult 4 us 2 ans. A simple question, let me ans. It. My opinion: it's wrong because if d girl did nt kno dat her parent wil suddenly witdraw finance and she knew her fiancee has been doin his best, she wil feel either her parents don't want her 2 marry her man or they don't want her to marry yet despite her age.

Or
It is right because she has chosen to set up her own family and at such should not benefit again from her parents.

Na wa o!

Come, are you the girl's fiancee? You wan marry but yet you want your prospective father-in-law to foot the bills for you while you shag his daughter? If you're feeling squeamish over taking the financial reins, then perhaps you should let the girl concentrate and finish her schooling while the father continues footing the bills.

You can't eat your cake and have it.
don't tak it personal okay? She might be my sister, i might be playing a fatherly role or fiancee role or jus a friend. It has nothin to do wit d question am asking

Once a girl is getting married , the fiancee should take love her responsibilities or he leaves the girl to finish her studies and make her decision afterwards. It's a very simple matter and the guy shouldn't complain
so is right 4 u to abandon ur daughter simply because a man want's to marry her. If she eventually drop from school do u think she wil be happi wit u in future?

Again, right or wrong: op don't need advice, he's asking simple question.

The high volatility of liquid fuel makes it long term storage a bad choice.
It usually takes a month or two for fuel to lose its quality to about 60%. This leads to hard start.

Filling of fuel tank to its brine not only saves you precious time but also money due to engine knock.
this comment is contradictory. Are u for or against filling ur tank? What has engine knock got to do wit this?
Car TalkShould I Fill My Fuel Tank Or Buy Small Fuel Like Others? by silvoice(op): 7:57am On Dec 13, 2014
Apart from these our buses and taxies that can buy fuel up to ten times in a day, instead of buying it once, each time i see someone drive an SUV for instance, into a fuel station and buys btw 5 to 10 littres of fuel, two things always come into my mind: either they don't have enough to fill their tank or that they just wanted to top up the fuel level.
But that is not always the case, rather it seems like a habit.
Though i use my car maybe twice in a week, i like filling my tank so that i don't search for fuel often.
My question is: are there mechnical, eletrical or safety inplication of always having enough fuel in my tank?

A parents should never be tired of sponsoring a daughter even in marriage as long as they are capable

Unless they want to punish her for rushing into marriage without completing her education, then the parents will be like "since you are ready to get married then go meet the man deceiving you,he will continue from where we stopped"

Sophyrocks:
The answer is No. Its not right. As long as your daughter isnt married yet, engagements break everyday, weddings can be called off, she is still under your roof therefore you are still responsible over her. It somewhat portrays the daughter in bad light, like some sort of burden on her fiance. After the wedding, the responsibility lies on her husband.
u got d gist. Very useful comment

then tell her to finish school or education. Get every thing she has to get from her father till she's able to stand on her feet if she's able to do that then she can marry
question stil not answered why are we avoiding the real question. Let me rephrase: yes or no. Is it right for parent's to stop financing their daughter because she's getting married?

At what stage do you think a man should take full financial responsibility of his fiancee? A scenario is playing out somewhere where his marriage to this lady has been fixed and both family is preparing for the occasion. the problem is that her father has stoped financing her academics to the extend that she's considering droping out of school. Do u think is just for d fiancee to take full responsibility now, though he's yet to complete the marriage process or jus surport his girl until she become his wife? That's why, i ask : Is it right for parent's to stop financing their daughter because she's getting married?

that is theory for d gods. For me, my new tire must be in d front.
(If i want 2 behave lik naija drivers, i change only one. D new one must be at d driver's side. Then d worst of all d tires become my spear tire). that's naija method.
Car TalkRe: Tire Issue: What's Your Opinion On This? by silvoice(op): 2:05pm On Nov 23, 2014
AutosBay:
When replacing only 2 tires the new ones should always be installed on the rear axle, ESPECIALLY when the car is FWD. The reason being is that if you lose traction at the rear axle your chances of losing control of the vehicle and having a serious accident are dramatically greater than if you lose traction on the front tires.

The "age-old-wisdom" was based primarily on the idea that on a FWD vehicle the front tires wear faster. So what? Is it better to even out treadwear or not wrap yourself around a tree? To a lesser extent it was also based around the idea that the front tires do most of the braking and all of the turning and thus should have the best traction but as the links below show vehicle stability is more important and that is imparted by the rear tires, not the front. Also, people like to have "traction" in snow but what they really mean is acceleration, not traction per se. If you've ever driven down a highway in the winter during a blizzard and noticed all the cars in the ditch they all have a common characteristic - you are looking at their headlights. They all went into the ditch backwards, meaning they spun out due to a loss of traction at the rear tires.

It is the policy of most major tire manufacturers including: Goodyear, Dunlop, Pirelli, Continental, Cooper, Bridgestone/Firestone, Michelin, etc that 2 new tires go on the rear. Most tire stores now are adhering to this policy. Avoid those that don't.
this is theory. If u are in Nigeria, with our beautiful roads, wil u put ur best tires at the back and fix 10 yrs and above tire in d front and be pushing 140k/h

Regardless of the source, I follow my own path and do my own thing based on my own experiences even if it goes against the norm or against "experts".

Sometimes I'm wrong but it's the way we learn as humans.

I never ever buy a pair of tires and always buy in fours so I've never had to test my theory personally.

PS: Just look at how many things we do in a day that goes against what experts says but we use our own individual judgement.

1) Crossing roads without using crosswalk

2) Going faster than the speed limit

3) Eating raw fish

4) Having unprotected sex

5) Getting married

List goes on and on.
Lol. Nice one

You should always change both tires on any on axle at the same time and the best tires should go on to the steering axles.

The idea is that with nodder engineering a blow out on the rear can be more easily handled than on the front. Additionally a read slide might be an inconvenience but a frontal slide could be disastrous.

When you loose grip on our rear wheels you mostly stay in your lane but a front wheel slide guarantees that you'll leave your lane.

All that being said I change all my four tires at the same time, it's cheap insurance and no matter what you drive or how awesome your car is, the tires are the final contact with the road and the deciding factor on how good of a experience that you'll have.

I just bought for brand new tires for a vehicle that may not even be under it's own power for a year - $200

https://quicksilvercars.villageheadmaster.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/IMG_2005.jpg
exactly my idea. So this tire experts online are wrong or what?
Car TalkTire Issue: What's Your Opinion On This? by silvoice(op): 11:17am On Nov 23, 2014
Tire experts advise that car owners should change all 4 tires at the same time when they want to replace their tire, or 2, if they can't offset d bill for 4 tires at a time. They also recomend that d 2 new tires be placed at d rear for a reason.
Now my question is, if one experiences tire burst on highway it's more dangerous if it's d front tire, so why should i put my two new tire at d rear: what's your opinion on this?
