i'm actually surprised at your words and immaturity. I'm neither for nor against Oyedepo. He should have realised that going to see Yar'adua will be politicised, however, after deciding to go n see the ailing president, i agree that he owes nobody an explanation. the situation of things is a lot more complex and fragile than it might seem on the surface

i think we should all just wake up and face the reality, the banking sector has collapsed. we re all in deep sh.t, well, some more than others, but 9jeria is in for some difficult times. i know a lot of people who are just suffering and smiling, they r in debt. and im not talkiing about 5million, 10million people, i know someone who owes N50 million. there are couintless other 'rich men' and businesses who owe N200million, N500million of worthless stocks. God help us all

Are you sure under absolutely no conditions will u ever cheat on your spouse? True love is unconditional, even tho i dont believe in blind love, but still, always try to give a 2nd chance to people

how many churches preach tithing as compulsory? the worst (or best) i hear is that it is only fair to give to the source from which you receive (i.e your local assembly). We all know churches have financial needs, (rent, salaries, office maintenance etc). And any Xtian who would begrudge God 10% of his earnings hasn't learnt ANYTHING about being a xtian.

Now i admit that many pastors do this tithing thing out of greed and armtwist their flock into buying them expensive cars and stuff, but please don't make it sound like any pastor that asks you to pay tithes is an agent of the devil. i don't think i'm quoting you out of context. that's the general idea i get from reading your posts (I've been following you quietly on Nl for a little while).

Money is needed to run a church and as a pastor you need MONEY. You can't run away from that. If i pay my tithes and my pastor uses it to buy an expensive car and chase women about, that's his problem and God (not me) will judge him. My conscience is clear and God will bless me for being obedient

Now I'm not saying there aren't several thieving pastors out there who milk their congregation dry, but Mr. KunleOshobs you seem to imply that any1 who asks for tithes and offerings in his church is satanic. Remember, many churches don't force any1 to tithe. They only remind you that God will bless you if you give to Him.

Whilst it is not wrong to collect donations and contributions to run an NGO a ministry it is the intergrity of those entrusted with the funds that matters. As long as one is using the money for the purpose for which it is eant and not selfish reasons backed by twisted scripture. However people establish and fund NGOs without soliciting for donations/ contributions from others the most prominet of these NGOs being Rockefeller foundation, ford foundation and the Bill/Melinda Gates foundation. It is my intention to purely fund my NGO myself, people that are interested in supporting it would be given a list of orphanages/ mother less babies home to which they can give their support to directly. A principal activity of the NGO    ministry would be preaching to people to give to christ through giving to the poor and the needy as taught by christ in matthew 25:31-40

So in other words, you'll ultimately be asking us to fund your NGO abi? and we're supposed to trust you have good intentions and that all the money is going to the needy abi?

Religion asides, i blame the modern monogamous arrangement.
