Peter Obi knows that even within his region he probably doesn't have the support of half of the leaders in the region, two out of five governors in the region are already backing other candidates, even the PDP party in the state doesn't really recon with him.....the practical side of Obi knows this which has led him to take his leave from PDP, his supporters have already started shopping for parties for him and some have even stated that he'd be running as president in NNPP and as kwankwaso as his VP(tells you how delusional his supporters are). Obi's only hope to presidency was through running as Atiku's VP.....but it's most likely that the VP spot is going to wike.

Two options for Peter Obi:

Fall for the hype, find a party and run for 2023 president = loose badly but also split the votes in the south east.

Retire and enjoy your pandora loot.

My opinion is that Obi's political career ended with his governorship in anambra and his attempts at VP and presidency where only the kicking of a dying horse.
