I thought Lauretta claimed it was Sowore's supporters pretending to be DSS. Nonsense and "ingredient" (in Chief Zebudaya's voice).

Dear Mummies & Daddies,

We are advocates for natural baby skincare products. We noticed the average baby soap contains at least 23 chemicals most of which are petroleum derivatives designed to increase lathering effect. Some of these ingredients like Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLS), Parabens and even fragrances have been found to cause harmful effects in the long run like allergies and respiratory problems.

Our products are handmade and based mainly on natural oils and plant butters. This is because we realise they can cleanse the skin without stripping it of its natural oils.

The Moisturising baby soap is made mainly from Shea butter and Neem oil. This is because the oils are rich in fatty acids like Oleic, Linoleic and Palmitic acids which are required for healthy, supple skin.

A baby's skin is much thinner than ours because it is at its developmental stage. It requires nourishment as well as protection from toxins and infections. Shea butter Neem oil (when in unrefined form) have a lot of antifungal and antibacterial properties. Together they stave off eczema, lice, scabies and ringworm.

To get more info, please check out our IG and Facebook pages @Pureloveng

Please send us a PM to order or if you are interested in being a reseller.

Happy Sunday!

Dongoyaro has been in Nigeria for decades and is quite popular in the north but how many of us are aware of this tree and the benefits it brings? Not a lot of people. Most of us just view it as a tree for shade and a nuisance when it comes to sweeping away the leaves it has left behind grin

Neem is quite popularly used in our agricultural sector as a natural pesticide and fertiliser. It isn't quite popular in the skin care products used here though, imported or locally made. And this is where we are missing out!

The oil has sooooo many benefits. Its fatty acids content is very rich in palmitic, oleic and lanolic acids (components required for healthy supply skin).

Indians use it a lot to treat skin diseases and infections. They also use it to ward off lice, ringworm and dandruff. There are a lot of information and products sold with this potent oil that just happens to grow in our "backyard".

We won't bore you with a lengthy epistle cos we know you want to sleep o tongue but we will be back to give you the gist of the different fatty acids and what they do for the skin.

By the way, have you ever bought (or seen) any product that contains Neem? Please let us know. We wanna see something grin hehehe.

It's Sunday!!! The weekend is finally over sad

A lot of buzz going on the NL Forum, the Twitter community and WhatsApp status about Anthony Joshua's success over Ruiz. The boy is just making waves anyhow. cool

We want to interrupt your peaceful Sunday with a light read about nature's gifts, one of which is the famous Neem aka Dongoyaro.

Childless at 29 yrs? Haba. Aren't you being too hard on yourself? You still have options

▪ Try again
▪ IVF
▪ Seek medical advice
▪ Surrogacy
▪ Adoption

Take your time to figure out the right path for you. In the interim, enjoy your youth and marriage.

Scold but don't break the child's spirit.

We don't want our kids believing that they are..."good for nothing", "can't do anything right"...and so on.

Those sort of words stay with them forever, shaping the way they see themselves through other people's eyes.

Let's scold them when they need it but use the right words to explain our displeasure. Words that will assure them that they are not malfunctioned or defective but loved and capable of doing better.

Is it your doctor that told you not to drink malt? Five weeks is a long time, never heard of this one. People that did CS, come and answer.

I don't know what your flow is like but would propose you wait till your bleeding stops. Malt has sugar so unless you don't mind having a heavy flow after consuming it, please look for natural juice instead.

Please what can we do about this skin rashes on our baby. He has under a test and it was stated that it's ordinary rashes. He was given some antibiotics but the rashes will not go away. Now it's springing up on his face.

Did you introduce a new product (food, lotion, detergent, etc)? He may be allergic to an ingredient.

Infact, i even want to recommend the good old guineacorn/millet/soyabean pap. I'm not sure why or how all our computer age mums concluded (if they did) that it's not nutritious and now prefer all these canned big grammar food and crazy purées of uncountable fruits and what not. I'm even surprised that ALL babies do not purge after these crazy mixtures. I would, as an adult.

I agree with you. We all want to copy oyinbo not knowing that most of these canned meals are laced with chemicals and preservatives. Some oyinbo people are switching back to organic foods and leaving behind the processed ones.

Our foods are nutritious enough. Just ask your paediatrician if unsure.

Dont be surprised if your baby prefers what you are eating to the cereals you are hoping he'd take.

I see that a lot and often wonder why mothers won't introduce the child to our local food if the child is ready to eat.

Which of the of the investment houses & what's the bond fund called. More info will be appreciated.

United Capital Plc has a bond fund. This is the link https://investnow.ng/Products/AM_BON#collapseExample

They quoted an interest rate of 15% as at yesterday. I have been told that it is a high risk though because it doesn't guarantee the principal. I don't understand why especially since it's invested in Sovereign bond and not equities.

I'm still doing my homework sha. Will chook head when I fully understand. But the rate sounds good.

You guys should face reality with this T.B matter. For now you can try stanbic or Fbn mutual funds... Its still in double digits..11%+...you can also buy zenith bank share for a guaranteed yield of not less than 14% at current price..or you sell at N23 if you don't want dividend...
CBN will be forced to push up rate once they witness a boycott or an investment house finds a way around Ghana tbills...
Getting offer of 8% is just sheer mockery to me...Shalom..

Please tell me more about the Zenith bank share. Is it really that profitable? I have lost all my faith in our NSE and the market.

You are not alone brotherly. Though I like interest reinvestment, I still don't think i' m financially matured enough to abandon my money somewhere for a whole 3 -20 years without wanting to feel it in my bank account. I seriously doubt it

I'll just be running my mmf for now & watch how things go. I'll be checking for updates every now and then to see any improvement

Some Investment houses have a Bond Fund option. It operates just like a mutual fund. Pool monies from different investors together and invest it in high quality bonds and Tbills.
