I would rather she informs everyone following this thread on how we can tell we meet the requirements because to the best of my knowledge, you either get a regret mail or a mail of acknowledgment to your application.

And from my findings, online tests would roll-out in February. If she has sth contrary or in addendum to what I just typed, she should share it.

From the latest info which tamihawtt confirm this morning the GT/EH list has not yet leave DPR offfice, if you can remember the DDCS resume on 15th of this month how is it possible to select the Recommended candidate within this Short period of time. Remember OND prospectives candidate result is ready since last year.

Maybe it's the OND list that went to FCC

Just an advice, if you're asking for the sake of an interview with them, don't give them a price. Force them to give you a range on what they budgeted to pay. Read up on how to bargain a salary...

each department in each region may have been briefed on the total number number of candidates needed. They can therefore make their selection/recommendation immediately after the interview and forward to HR-Lagos Headquarter for vetting/approval.

Mind you that the merit list is the one that requires little more work since the man-know-man list (we pray there is nothing like this) is automatic.

My point exactly is that it is possible because my department at the university organized a Post graduate examination for a very large number of candidates and released the score in 2 days time and the final selection was done the next day.

Why did they spend much time before interview?

I may be wrong but my instinct tells me that CBT performance coupled with God's grace is still the rate-determining step.

They are really checking your age and birth cert cos you are GT. They asked my age and I said 31. The interviewer was furious until the other told him I was EH. So he said no problem.

Why should they be furious? You weren't 31 as at the time of application...

My dear, as if you know. I did not even know that there is a place called DPR from the outset.

I've even forgotten that I applied. It is not what I read that came out in the aptitude test.

In summary, God Almighty brought me this far, I never did anything special.

Hello oo.. if you had a 3rd silent person in the corner during your interview...that was a rep from federal character! They were present in most depts just to hav an overview of the process. You know there's no final selection without approval with letter of compliance from federal character..

A lot of candidates that didn't know anybody got the job in 2013. In fact, many people rated the recruitment 80% merit. This was under GEJ and Dieziani Madueke as petroleum minister.

To be sincerely, McK is a very good place to work, but as a business analyst, you have no time for your self. Should you be a family man, the family will suffer. Lots of travels and late night meetings. Can't count the number of days I left work 2am.
