As a natter of fact almost one or two persons from every state has collected, each list of successful candidates has 40 names on it, and they are scrambled across every discipline and state, only the list of people to be called is released by shakur, thats why you hear people testifying from every angle. Nobody knows the reason why the list is made like that, but its very likely all candidates on the same page are likely to be posted to the same region, the calling has just started so don't give yourself unnecessary pressure because many people are going to be called, ignore all my previous posts, this is the clarification I got yesterday

No one is disputing "many people are going to be called"; the question is 'who are these people going to be?' Someone here who went to pick up his letter confirmed that the names are written with pen, PEN!. Bro, that level no pure

Most of these questions are not the really important! Asking question such as "how many Abj, or Kwara or Enugu" etc doesn't matter at this point and it doesn't give you an edge. It's even sounding selfish to me.

I really don't understand you guys. A recruitment where FCC plays a key role in in ensuring all states are well represented, a recruitment that uses the current employee data per state to determine the numbers per state that should be recruited yet you all see a problem with asking questions pertaining number of persons recruited per state. Pls, kindly be well guided.

There were issues raised concerning the offer given to some applicants most especially those linked to stakeholders. Some DPR staff children that merited it were dropped from the list and that provoked a lot of people. Also, the EH issue is still an ongoing debate. I don’t know whether that has been resolved but the list was ready since Monday.

There is so much tension in the system. Everyone should just pray that everything goes well in the end because the union members are not happy with the situation and they are not ready to give up until everything is done accordingly. Those that haven’t been contacted shouldn’t panic and remain hopeful.

That’s all I know for now.

If they are still going to other GTs.... I would say the final process of the recruitment process is very scrappy. what stops them from contacting everyone once telling each person different dates and zones to pick up their APL

Varies from state to state based on your state representation. Like Ebonyi had alot of slots while Niger had little.

After the 3 months has elapsed everyone will go for induction at the same time. So doesnt matter when you start

Hello Guys!
I literally just reactivated my nairaland account in order to post this comment. I have been one of the guests viewing this thread since 2016!
I got a call a few minutes ago to come pick up my letter at DPR’s Lagos office.
I don’t know anybody in DPR and my parents and relatives are not even aware know that I applied to DPR. I applied online and undertook the aptitude test and interview in Lagos.
My application data are as follows:
- Mechanical Engineer Graduate Trainee
- Interview Location: Lagos
- State: Ogun
- First Class BSc degree in Engineering and MSc degree (Distinction) in Engineering from the UK

From my experience, I would say that DPR definitely hired some new employees on merit. This is quite commendable.
Finally, I sincerely appreciate everyone who shared updates on this thread over the past two years. Trust me, It was of immense help. I would have missed my interview if not for nairaland.
