I graduated from Uniben it wasn't easy but I did ok... If you want to do exceptionally in Uniben you should be passionate about you course, understand your department and lecturers.

I started 100l with high hopes of a first class only for me to "secure" my very first CO in 3 courses for first semester alone o . I came from a polytechnic where i finished with a distinction. I had to rewrite jamb cos i wanted nursing but was given one life science course instead. I guess my hatred for the course contributed greatly to my failure in first semester 100l.
Fast forward to second semester, i aced all my courses with a 3.8 CGPA having no CO.

In 200l first semester, i got 4.64 cos i was determined to transfer to nursing...i also aced the three CO courses..then in second semester i made a 4.21 before i bought transfer form to nursing.


Moral: just read and pray then watch God do HIS thing.

Uniben na craze school.

I have seen someone that had First Class in 100 and 200 level, and finally graduated with 2-2 after four years.

Crazy school.

na God save me. They turned my 4.73 CGPA to 4.44 in 400 level.
They demolished it with cutlass.

I prayed like a mad prophet, read very hard and followed up all my exams with the lecturers before I could escape with 4.60 as final grade in 500 level.

Great uniben! I can't really relate.
But I know for certain, there are some departments that would make you feel that way, mainly because of the nature of the lecturers and teaching style.
For example Education is synonymous with missing scripts. How do you expect one not to get frustrated.
There are some lecturers that would want to deliberately fail students.
That's why I love Engineering. You get what you write.
I partied throughout university. Womanized and all, skipped a lot of classes, I still made a 4.48
In fact I would have made a first class, if I hadn't been more unserious during my final year, for which I regret.
Yes I did read, and was naturally an above average student.
Bottom line, put in your best, and hope for the best.
Also try understand what works, those that do better than you , try liasing with them to understand better how to get better grades.
In the end, as you might later realize, grades don't matter much depending on what you hope to pursue, but get the best grades you can as it could potentially open ways for you.
If you can make a first class , please do
If you can make a 2.1 , please do
Just do your best.
Lastly , dont forget to skill up. Get a digital skill
A university certificate is not just enough these days.
