Try leaving some margarine and some butter outside.... see which one ants/flies/mice/cats go to and which they stay clear of ... see which breaks down or gets mildew and which remains the same ... then think about grease... then which is really not at all good for human consumption. Foods in Nigeria are mainly organic... but you'll have to pay through the nose for same abroad.
