If so, it is yes, the negligence is on your part for not knowing the minimum deposit. But to be honest I think this is unfair on the part of kucoin, it doesn't make sense taking people funds because it did not reach minimum deposit. They should find a better way out, this is stealing.

Discuss with the sender and hear his response but i think you and the sender suppose to share the loss.

Always check minimum deposit next time before you receive coin.
