My last transaction with her was 3.8k USD march of this year (wise fund) so when I saw this story, I kept wondering what happened until I saw PayPal wahala.

Last year, PayPal blocked the account I was using for fiverr withdrawal, when 6 months completed and I wanted to move out the fund, they said I violated their policies. Na so I lost 2000 EUR. I hate PayPal so much but we don't have choice as freelancers.

I can attests to the communication aspect. Really hard reaching her now. Most times, it takes her days to even respond messages. I think she is not in Nigeria but then, she needs to be communicating effectively especially if you're still running business or still have a business deal pending.

I think you guys should just come to terms and discuss payment plan like she suggested on her response.

I understand PayPal transactions and it can be so annoying at times. If PayPal limit your account, you have to wait for 6 months before they will release the fund and funny enough, they might even tell you you violate their law and they will keep that fund. Loosing money is not easy but we just need to be very careful.

If I were you when this dude requested to use your email for the fund, I would rather buy the fund from him to avoid issues like this instead of agreeing to help him move out the fund. You know this issue wasn’t intentional and I didn’t mean to “own” you.

We didn’t have any deal with transactions just to clear that aspect. It was just out of my own careless goodwill that put me into all this.

Like parts of my business, I do set up paypal accounts for customers, especially US accounts. You contacted me about a US account which we agreed on price which i fulfilled by creating a working account for you.

After days of creating the account, you complained that paypal was asking for facial verification or so (i said you should contact the support , because I can’t figure out why paypal is requesting facial verification.

You did and it was the same thing. Then you requested to send the fund to my email address (you tried sending it for like 3 days, but the fund wasn’t going). Then I suggest that you should refund the person you bought from while you give another email to the person to send it. You said the seller was a random person, then you tried to send the fund to my email.

The fund was there. I couldn’t get to send it out as Crypto or send it to another acct or withdraw, i suggested a refund that maybe we should try another mail.

I sent another email and the same issues about moving out of the fund happened. Eventually, paypal limited the account and when i was getting documents to submit, the fund Techtopsy (a Nairalander too) sold to me (his seller charged back the fund ) 750$. The whole mess just came about.

While I was trying to gather your fund, Timekeeper (he is also a nairalander) did chargeback on my limited account) which was supposed to be due this month. Over 1k dollars.

Timekeeper, if you’re seeing this, I remember discussing this issue with you, that the fund inside that account is for a friend, but you can see the embarrassment here.

Anyways, like I have promised you, I will pay you. I have never held anybody’s money. I deal with currency business and no one has ever complained about me. It is just unfortunate that this particular issue happened this way and even more unfortunate it happened when I'm more broke.

I told you I had you in mind and I would pay you before the end of this year, but you coming here to call me out looks like we have never discussed this issue and I’m trying to run away with your money.

I don’t have the complete fund at the moment, but if you want us to discuss installment payment, then we can discuss that.

All other complaints about Telegram, whatsapp, whatever, I will leave that aside because there is no way I have ignored your message. Expect this last message, which I saw days ago, and since you have already brought it here, I feel I should respond here.

PayPal is one delicate transaction and some PayPal vendors will attest to these issues with PayPal.

When I have a business deal with someone, it is my responsibility to fulfill my part even if the business go wrong.

Well I guess escrow needs to do more in their services in the sense that escrow can request for a valid I'd card that corresponds with the account names escrow will be paying into.

Having the details of the seller/buyer will help a little bit when issues arise.

Anyone that is not interested in dropping his details(valid I'd) that tally with bank account names should not even request for escrow service.

Frankly speaking, To accept the use of escrow is a choice to both side(s). The buyer and the seller reserves the right to either accept or reject that term provided there is another option to go about with the transaction.

If one of the parties is giving the option of an invitation to the office (provided there's proof that the office is in existence for physical business transaction) there is nothing wrong in the other party to take the visit if that will be convenient. But if there's a location barrier or any other inconveniences, the party can easily bow of that transaction.

Whao I have been transacting PayPal deals with her successfully until she stops picking fund early this year and not been active here also and most times it takes her hours and days before even replying to messages. I had to find another exchanger for my funds.

Hopefully she is back online to resolve this issue with you. I don't know her well but all my dealing with her before were successful with no issues.

Did a Paypal transaction with her around November, the US PayPal ran into issues because I needed to do a facial verification to be able to use the cryptocurrency features on the account.

I wouldn't have be patronized if she had told me from the get go that was one the major requirement needed to use the cryptocurrency features on the account.

I paid her for the necessary tools needed to create the account. Funded the PayPal account after creation. The account got limited a couple of times trying to use the cryptocurrency features. Months went by, she won't keep updated on what's going if I don't reach out to her via WhatsApp, her number isn't available, she claimed her Telegram was deleted, she also disabled receiving WhatsApp calls. Couple of message I've sent to her recently delivered.

Today makes it 28-32 days period since Mrpassionate received my PayPal funds and has refused to make payment


Anyone who knows this nuisance should tell him to pay me my money. I also want him added to scam list pending when he pays me he may then have him name and moniker removed.


How it happened :


He received my PayPal funds and all of a sudden refused to talk no matter how many times I contacted him.

He then tried to activate dissapearing messages after 20+ days I contacted him again asking for m money. He did this so I wouldn't make screenshots of what transpired.



Immediately I threatened to come and expose him on the forum. He chatted ( first time in 20+ days just because I said I was coming here to expose him )



His response:


My ordinary $54-58 led to his account been temporarily frozen. Mind you, no screenshot, for an European PayPal account that has received thousands of dollars suddenly gets frozen because of $55. The average Nigerian is dishonest both home and abroad. Abroad life hasn't changed him.


To not appear too much of a bother, I told him to pay me the money in splits. The first part 10k a week after. The balance around 22k a week later. He agreed.


He made the first payment last week Friday. Yesterday was the second Friday. He stopped communicating since a week now.



I normally don't bring business deals to the forum. But I have been scammed by too many Nairalanders this here alone, making it difficult for me to pay my workers and even sustain my businesses.
