PietroRico:Before the match I kept yelling that Blind at LB and Jones at CB was a better pairing but as we all know, the goat of a coach is an obtuse rètard. Well, my prayers are coming to pass. ![]() |
Buwahahahahaha. LMAO!! See wailing. ![]() Instead of these wailings, why can't y'all look on the bright side that if we miss out on UCL, Gaal would be sacked? C'mon, look on the bright side. You want Gaal out? Then pray he flops. As for me, this is a good result if and only if it'll get Gaal sacked. Bleep the FA cup!! |
olabode89:LOL. And GBR1 would have us believe we should be playing a one-man DM midfield. With this shitty squad? Buwahahahaha. Let's hope we lose this match so the gaffer can leave coz if he wins and we qualify for UCL, forget about his sacking. |
GBR1:LOL. ONE DM? Are you seriously watching this match and still think we should be playing ONE DM? LMAO. You must think we are Barcelona. LMAO. |
GBR1:Are you seeing why Derlin needs a combative and physically strong DM alongside him? The foolish gaffer just so he won't bench Rooney played that ghost alongside Derlin and our midfield is a mess. Only Hererra and Derlin dey try. Mata is useless. Rojo, pathetic and Blind too short to compete for aerial balls. If that gaffer remains next season, we won't see top 10. |
adeyemi2015:I'm happier than you. That ninja is nothing but a headless chicken. LOL. I wish Jones paired Smalling coz of aerial threats while Blind plays at LB. That idíot called Rojo is -1 for us. |
GBR1:Who would you have partner Derlin then? Bear in mind he can't play DM alone. Both in France and Southampton, he was partnered by another DM. IMHO, Matuidi fits that bill perfectly. He attacks and defends pretty well. |
GBR1:Utd play double DMs; Schneiderlin can't do it all alone. Imagine a Derlin/Kante or Derlin/Matuidi or a Derlin/Casmeiro combo. Very tough nut to crack!! |
diggz:I understand how you feel, and I'd feel the same if I was a Chelsea fan especially seeing Cech doing so good for Assnal. I had that same feeling seeing Chicharito excelling at Leverkusen. For this season, Courtois has performed abysmally going by his previous standards and Begovic has been a more reliable option than him. But I feel he can recover his dwindling reputation with a better squad and a good coach. So next season should be a better season to see if he can excel again. Let it be a fresh start for him. |
diggz:Don't be too quick to judge him. Chelsea as a whole performed badly this season. Give him one more season before reeling out the judgment verdicts. Allow him this season of EPL madness. |
AdeLaNa1:We wouldn't have gotten Renato even if we wanted to coz of the situation we are currently in right now. Shekpe have solved their gaffer crisis, so if they wanted to get any player before the season ends, all they have to do is to check if Conte want such a player before going for him. Bayern Munich solved theirs as early as December, so they can afford to make purchases that concord with Ancelloti's decision before the season ends. But Utd nko? Gaal is not sure of his position. Mourinho according to rumours signed that Utd will pay him £10M if next month arrives without them making him their gaffer. Utd board still don't know what to do. So how can we sign a player when the coach issue we have has not been resolved yet? What if the coach doesn't want to work with kid? So, right now, we shouldn't expect any player till we get a new coach or Gaal is confirmed as our coach for next season |
Diademk07:Schneiderlin hasn't changed but he hasn't improved coz Gaal wouldn't give him a chance. If Gaal can give him half the chance he has given Rooney from last season till now, he'd have been a force to be reckoned with. LvG will end Renato's career if he had come coz Rooney would be deployed to DM or CM from next season if Rashford is to play. He made the right choice in terms of better coaching, trophies to win and better team. I'm glad though, coz I never wanted him in the first place. He'd cost us a lot and might still flop. |
bykebyke:Exactly. As long top talents/upcoming talents are concerned, Barca, Madrid and Bayern are the best destinations which will assure them trophies from the get-go. Nobody loves suffering. Even PSG and City are more juicer than Utd. If I was Renato, I can never come to Utd under mad man Van Goat. We need to start facing reality that our value has pummelled since SAF left, even our stock value has gone down. We'll lose more stars and turn out to be another Liverpool if we don't arrest this decline. |
Diademk07:I can count up to 20 players linked with Utd since Ferguson left. It's very absurd. Otamendi was linked with us but we NEVER made any move for him coz Gaal wanted Blind at that CB position. It's always the same story. Rumours and facts are different things. Gaitan own tire me. For over 6 seasons and still it keeps turning out to be a lie. Even Mourinho's rumours are starting to get on my nerves. I've read over 40 news about him being our next coach. |
Schneiderlin was one of Southhampton's best players, he is average for Utd under Gaal. Herrera, same story under Gaal. What of Memphis? Same story. Pedro was wary of signing for Utd under Gaal after what he did to Valdes. Rafael had no nice words for Gaal. Same for Chicharito. The common denominator is still Gaal. If we'd gone for Renato, who's to say he won't be benched for Rooney or Carrick? Gaal has got to go!! |
bykebyke:It's all rumours. That's what I'm talking about. E.g, the Express.co.uk site took their rumours out of a Portugese tabloid called "A Bola." I've read these rumours from over ten sites. It doesn't mean we have actually made a move for him. The last one is even more dumb. Imagine we are making moves for a coach that have not OFFICIALLY signed for us. Moves like that of Muller and Sergio Ramos were confirmed by both teams and that they refused to sell to United. This Renato's case is on the same league as that of countless players we've been linked with. |
diggz:Elampiro should use OPTA to get a good comparison between both keepers. |
bykebyke:How did you know we did the wooing? That rumours said we are interested in him doesn't mean we actually made a move for him. Since SAF left, we've been linked (rumours) to over 30 players but you know it's not always the truth. Renato was a young talent that many clubs were interested it in, United never made a move for him officially or unofficially. If I'm wrong can you post a link other than a rumour mill? I don't know for y'all, but if actually I'm Renato and United and Bayern are chasing me, I'd go for Bayern. They are a better team than United and are competitive more than us. So it's only natural that we'd continue to lose out on star signings till we get back to our former glory. This is the reason why I want Gaal sacked and for us to fail if we it get Gaal sacked. If we don't rise up to our former level, we'd fail to attract wave-making talents. Gaal will never make us great. Anyway, I'm happy the guy went to Bayern, coz I've always preferred Kante to him. I pray the rumours about Kante to Utd is actually true coz he'd cost less and still deliver the goods we want. The Renato I watched didn't convince me much that he'd have an impact in our shitty squad. Though I think he'd shine amongst the stars at Bayern coz they are already a great team. |
Diademk07:You've never liked Herrera so I'm not awed by your opinions about him. Weren't you the same person that found a way to strip him of his contribution towards Martial's goals at Wembley against Westham? A chicken would have to grow a tooth first before you see any good in him. Yeye!! |
Spy360:You and Nihilist, I guess are right. ![]() http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3578359/Leicester-City-Atletico-Madrid-share-spooky-similarities-two-teams-upsetting-odds-1-0-wins-no-possession-4-4-2-formations-low-budgets-indestructible-defences.html |

LordEmperoris1:We lost our chance to qualify for UCL when LvG was not sacked in December not when we drew our last match. LvG is a clog in our wheel of progress. |
darkenedrebel:Wow. I honestly thought you are an atheist. I knew you are a Catholic but I thought you later veered off into atheism coz your posts seem to suggest such. ![]() Since God can't answer our prayers too fast, I guess we've got to consider Sango and Amadioha. ![]() |
darkenedrebel:This is no double standard, bro. Even magician Messi misses PKs and sitters talk more of Suarez. Nobody is perfect but Rooney has been this shitty for years now that's why I can't forgive his discrepancies. Lemme ask you, when was the last time Rooney had up to 18 league goals? Just research and compare it to Suarez from Loserfool to Barca then you'd get why Rooney has paid his dues and should be shipped out. |
darkenedrebel:Suarez has outscored CR7 this season, he can be pardoned for rare misses. Rooney? Like you said, he has lost his edge and so should be shipped out. |
kokaneprodigy:Giroud would have struck that ball immediately but he'd end up still missing it. |
Mounrinho should dodge this United job sef coz the team is below average or at best filled with average players. Rooney - average Mata - average Herrera - average Memphis - an idiòt (mediocre) Jackson - below average Mensah - has potential Carrick - average Blind - above average in the MF position Smalling - above average DDG - world class Rashford - has potential Lingaard - below average Darmian - below average Teiger - average Schneiderlin - average but can become world class under another coach. Shaw - above average Jones - below average What a shitty team!! |
darkenedrebel:Dark I know you are an atheist, but please pray for United to sack Van Goat, or else this man will give us High BP next season. My team are an eyesore to watch. |
That Rooney couldn't score that goal with his weak foot bur brought it back to set up Mata shows he's an average stirker or has lost his striking instincts. Either of Suarez, Muller, Lewandoski, Messi, etc., would have scored that goal with their weak foot. Still happy for the goal though. |
You know the funniest thing about Van Goat? The mòron RESTED Rashford. Yeah, you read it right. The fool rested our only potent striker in a match like this that should be taken serious. A team fighting for relegation with a match to go and the fool rested him. As if that's not bad enough, Rojo the waste of human space that flopped woefully last weekend still started for us. Fosuh-Mensah was available and the bàstard started Darmian a RB ahead of him, and when he got injured, he brought in the weakling called Jackson. If this man stays beyond this season, mark my words, Moyes season will be our fate next season. SMH!! |
Nihilist:I don't think Atleti and Leceister are TOO similar like you are insisting. When it comes to defence, Atleti is ultra-defensive. They are Leceister on steroids. When this season started before Leceister became EPL contender and way before they topped the league, Leceister were very porous in defence, something Atleti are not. As a matter of fact, they were called the comeback kings coz they always trail behind and still find a way to draw or win the match. Matches like against Stoke and Westham where they were 2-0 down and still manage to get a point off the match is still fresh in memory. It got so bad that Ranieri promised them pizzas if they can KEEP A CLEAN SHEET. Now when have you seen Atleti either this season or for the past 3 years struggle to keep clean sheets for many matches? Even in attack, Vardy and Mahrez are in top 8 highest goal scorer in EPL while no Atleti player according to you are in top 10 in Liga. Doesn't it show you that more players in Atleti contribute to their total goal returns compared to Leceister that has majority of their goals from Vardy and Mahrez. And yes, Lecister attack more than Atleti. Also, you are forgetting Leceister have been languishing in the championship for years now and even they joined EPL last season they battled regulation, then this season they lifted the EPL something Atleti is not associated with. Is that the path the success story of Atleti came from? Atleti have been honing this defensive system of playing for years and they have perfected it which is why it's been keeping then contesting for titles for 3-4 years now. Leceister will have to been competitive with this pattern for 3 more years before I can agree that their style of playing is effective. Individual names CAN mean NOTHING, same way individual names CAN mean SOMETHING. Weren't you the one calling Messi and Ronaldo freaks of nature? Can you honestly say having a name like Messi in your team squad for a match can't mean ANYTHING? I disagree. Some individual talents/names can win matches or motivate players to up their games. |
