GIYAZZ:Why, if you don't mind me asking? |
parrotibaba:Giggs would have taken over if either of Moyes or van Goat performed well. Too bad we can't hand over the baton to him coz we need a coach to return us to our former level - and Giggs ain't that man. |
So I was gone for a while, came back to the usual suspects and chaos on this borough: Dayokanu arguing upandan with almost everybody in his quest to make sure he won the England-Germany hackeyned debate. But always cowering whenever GBR1 his nemesis steps into the scene. ![]() Dayokanu, À40, Panthanky and Airmark, always at each other's throat with the ever-present invectives like - "apoche cracra", "dindindrin", "amukunmeko", "apoda", "oponu" renting the air as always. . . And as usual, I end up not understanding any of those cuss words. ![]() Adelana1, true to his nature - always being a menace to the retàrded Gayners, with the Gayners not failing to troll back United fans with Martial's position on the bench. Kagawa10 - laying low for a while and turning to bishop T.D Jakes with his peaceful comments before I left, only for me to come back and found out he's gone back to causing mayhem on the United thread. A leopard can never change its spots. ![]() Elampiro - unsurprisingly finding a way to defend White Pele even with all his mediocre displays after the Russia game. Typical Elampawa. ![]() And how was I able to observe these ocurences? Quiet simple. . . . By following the posts of Sports section's Don King - Nihilist. Always at the juicy and happening scenarios, covering the fights, beefs, and gbegberouns as it's happening LIVE!!! ![]() I can authoritatively confirm that this ghetto is a more fun place to be than watching the boring Euro. |
giyazz, you already got my vote. No shaking!! |
I vote Lanicky Cc: nljega |
elampiro:I agree. Our team being thin was our major setback last season. |
elampiro:I should have been specific, I meant more players generally not another defender. |
bigkesh:LWKMD. I don die!! ![]() |
As for the money, come on!! It's United we are talking about. How much was woeful Stones priced last season (£50M with abeg o)? How much is Man City pricing Laporte currently (£40M)? You think these small clubs will sell their players cheap for a big team? If we had gone for Umtiti, he would cost us just as much. Same for Varane. Same for any top prospect out there. This same Baily was scouted by Barca too. PSG was interested too. The transfer world right now is crazy. Players are being overpriced. If United tried being stingy, PSG will pay that amount and get him. We have to live with the rich teams tag. Otamendi whose praise was sang last season came costly and also just average. So as long as big teams are involved, the players will likely come with a heavy price tag. |
Some of the comments I'm reading here is very funny to me. Which defender hasn't goofed before? Boateng? Terry? Vidic? Ferdinand? Smalling? Koscieny? Gallas? Pique? Varane? Skertel? Sergio Ramos? LOL If you actually dig deep, you'll find out that every defender MUST goof once in a while. The match that's being talked about, I watched that match live and I think it ended 1-0. In that match, Eric Bailly (I didn't know he's the one then though) was superb in that match along with his co-CB. They frustrated Athletico for almost all through the match till towards the ending when Torres was introduced and he went on to score that goal. I'm pointing this out coz people are disregarding his entire performance in that match. I'm not gonna hold briefs for Baily, but I know I won't bring out my sword of judgement till I've actually seen his displays for United. If Smalling can eventually become a rock for us, then Baily can come good for us. As for now, I won't judge him yet. Time shall reveal all. Mou should sign more please. Let's have too many options available to us. |
elampiro:Whoever gave that goal the best in EPL history must have been born blind, deaf and dumb, must have been cursed from birth after being born feet first, must have been a resident of Yaba Left, must be suffering from chronic Down's syndrome, and must have never heard of Matt Le Tisser!! |
elampiro:Guy, you no dey shame when you praise Rooney this much? 7 goals in 9 matches by January-February? Like seriously? Do you mean good for United? Why wasn't Rooney scoring from the ist month of EPL like other top strikers that were leading the attacks of their team were doing? Rooney had to wait till January to pick a temporal form? Is this the kind of striker you want at United? Why didn't you list his shameful stat of going ELEVEN disgusting and shameless months WITHOUT an away goal? ![]() If Suarez and Messi wait till January to score 7 in 9 matches, where do you think Barca will get their trophies from? If Lewandoski waits till February to pick a temporal form, do you think Bayern will win a spoon much less a cup? Benzema and CR7, did they wait for January before scoring for Madrid to win the UCL? Back to EPL, Vardy, Kane and Aguero, did they wait for Jan-Feb before scoring 20+ goals? Now wonder United have been retrogressing for the past few years. When the striker (Rooney) that made LvG ship out all other top strikers will wait for 11 months before scoring an away goal or till January before picking a temporal form, you can be sure that United will be the laughing stock of EPL. Leceister would never have won the league if Vardy was as poor as Rooney. Goals win you games not dropping into the midfield, playing horizontal cross, going 11 months without an away goal and eating £300K a week!! Fùck Rooney!! He's more harm than good. No top team will make him their MAIN attacking threat and still qualify for UCL!! |
SIRcumalot:Different players have different peak time or expiry date. Ibrahimovic is older than Rooney and still banging in goals that Rooney can only dream of. Rooney at his current age is way beyond his optimum best. He's sorely declined and he's not even a maestro in the midfield. We have enough evidence, you just don't want to look. LvG confirmed that in the second game after Rooney came back from injury, he was furious after LvG subbed him in the second-half. Google it. It's the same reason that I fear for Rashford with Ibra's purchase. Rooney and Ibra are top dogs and they don't like getting subbed. From Muller, Messi, CR7, Bale, Neymar, Pogba, etc., these players will frown immediately you sub them. Rooney doesn't have to put him to that verbally, Rooney's reputation and LvG's aim of pleasing him is enough to make LvG play him on constant basis. Do you need Messi to spell it out for you before you recognise that he won't enjoy being subbed? This is one of the reasons Moyes failed, giving Rooney a fat account balance just to please him and repair their once ruined relationship. We all saw how that turned out with Moyes playing Persie and Rooney in all matches as long as they are fit. |
SIRcumalot:You are getting it wrong. SAF never recalled or played Giggs on "must play" basis. Giggs missed some matches, same as Scholes. But Rooney refuses to be subbed, can't strike and can't play well in the midfield. Playing him on a "must play" basis is where I'm peeved. If he's sparingly used, then I won't be complaining. Rooney presently is jack of all trades and master of none. He's not a master of either attack or midfield. So the best thing is to sparingly use him, that's all I ask for. |
Spy360:Your case beyond redemption. Your idiocy knows no bound. So you are taking baseless rumours over West Ham co-chairman, Sullivan's words? Someone that actually bid for Vardy and amount in weekly wages hampered the deal? So if I start a rumour that Spy360 is no longer the court clown of Sports section when you are worse than that, does that make it true? Wallow in your self-delusions, I'm not gonna argue this again with you. |
GBR1:The embolden is what pisses me the fùck off. He can star for England and I won't give a tuppence about that, but the fact that he'll be playing for United makes me livid with rage. Why can't United move on from Rooney? Is a he a Messi or CR7? When will this club let go of pensioners and look forward to young and entertaining young quality players to move the club forward? |
elampiro:You forget that qualifiers and friendly matches are always easier for England and they ease through it most of the time; but when it matters most, during the main tournament, they flop disgracefully. So don't use small teams like Scotland to judge. But that said, I agree with Rooney/Kane, Rooney/Vardy would work better but I disagree that Vardy and Kane would never work. That is nothing but arrant BS!! My main problem is trying to shoehorn Rooney in between Kane and Vardy that is working already, that's a recipe for disaster. But like I've opined already, England is not my kettle of fish, I'm only supporting them coz of few United players in there. My main concern is that he'd be sold before season starts for United. I don't want that fat White Pele anywhere near my bench coz trying to play him in all our matches will derail our season. He's now a liability for United!! |
kokaneprodigy:Shut up, you bare-faced liar!! Where was the so-called UCL clause when WestHam, a club that finished beneath us made the first move on Vardy but lost out due to the gargantuan wages he demanded for? http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/david-sullivan-says-jamie-vardys-8127662 You keep proving that Gayners fans are the dregs of the earth. Good luck with your delusion that Nyanshnal have more advantage on ANY player over United. |
GBR1, there are questions you don't need to ask Elampiro, coz you already know what would be the answer. There's no way on earth Elamp would have given you anything else apart from what he typed about Rooney. That's Rooney's no. 1 fan, so expect such replies from him. As for England, all I know is that if Rooney is not benched and Vardy/Kane partnership preferred in the attack, England MUST flop. It's a no-brainer!! I've read over 4 editorials lambasting Roy for trying to squeeze in Rooney between Kane and Vardy and causing England more harm than good. Same fate awaits Mourinho, sadly. If Mourinho adopts Roy's and van Goat's policy of Rooney must play, I swear on my balls that United would suffer massive defeats next season!! This is the time I wish Rooney can cop 6 months injury a week before EPL starts, so I won't bother seeing him anywhere near my bench. I wonder if Barca had held unto Ronaldinho, what would have been their fate by now. Maybe Liverfools will still hold on to Fowler. Maybe United will recall Scholes just coz he's legend. Nonsense!! Rooney has got to go as long as United is concerned, he can still remain with England, I give no fùck about them. |
lordfalcao:Give Wengay Barca and the idíot would relegate them in one season. Useless Prof. of mediocre team. |
olabode89:Na you wey get time to dey reply a troll that has been trolling various threads out of fear and sheer frustration, I dey blame. If you had ignored it, he wouldn't be getting the one minute attention it lives off on. The Vardy he's making noise about, Man Utd left him for them coz they wanted Rashford to have more playing chance after Ibra would be gone. Even after Adelana1 showed him a link where Assnal got Vardy after United refused activating his clause, the troll is busy pytalizing BS. Even Wengay is rushing the Vardy signing coz he's AFRAID that once other clubs showed interest, as usual, the pathetic club called Assnal would lose out. He's trolling United and Shellshit, two clubs that have won the UCL and league titles in the past 10 years, something Wengay is struggling to achieve. Same Wengay was fooling around and Zidane touched the UCL title first as a coach before him. Useless club with retarded_ fans. |
Pataki:What makes it more shocking is that Spy is a Nigerian and should have known first-hand all about Mikel before spewing that trash. If a foreigner made such gaffe, I'd have understood. |
ColeworldMD:Roy might live to regret that mistake, and if he fails, especially from the midfield, pundits and fans will blame it on Drinkwater's exclusion. On Sturridge, that's a walking time bomb. He wasn't even fully fit when his name was announced. Forget the left foot, Rooney, Vardy and Kane are more ahead in striking order than Sturridge. Removing Sturridge or Rashford was the best thing to do. Even taking Wilshere to the Euros was another nepotism to me. Just 2 uncompleted matches and he's on board to Euros? BS!! |
AdeLaNa1:Goalkeepers usually retire pretty late. They don't put in much work when compared to other players on the pitch and hence have longer careers than other players in the team. After keepers are the CBs, they don't run or expend energy than the full-backs and other positions in the team. But that said, Buffon is definitely one of the best GKs to grace the game. Too bad he's got no UCL to crown his club career. |
AdeLaNa1:Really? LOL. I didn't know o. Well, I'm not editing the post sha, it was a guess work. But I still think both share kindred spirits when it comes to their mode of airing their opinions on this thread. ![]() |
ColeworldMD:Roy should have taken both of them and dropped Sturridge. Not taking Drinkwater is the purest form of nepotism on Roy's path. It's very shameful to say the least. |

Am I the only one who thinks the Kagawa guy might be _Nyanbighi's alternate moniker? They possess similar traits: . Love for LvG. . Hate for Mourinho . Always on the opposite side of logics . Both never back down with insults or derailing. . Both are well opinionated though their opinions are usually wrong. I think they might be the same person. I might be wrong though. Just thinking out loud. ![]() |

Kagawa10:Take your dumb shape-shifting to who gives a fùck. I'm talking Hererra and you are typing Gotze for me. Until you give me a link where Hererra said he lied and all he said were PR stunts, then we've no issue to discuss again. Sayonara. |
I hereby declare airmark as the most coldest, meanest, wicked and brutal FBI agent on NL. LMAO. These stats and evidences are just cold. ![]() |
