Elxandre:I no want Pogba anywhere near my team. The money that would be wasted on him will get us 2 quality DMs and change go remain. |
diggz:LOL. The worst is that he even shot himself in the leg with the "good stats" of Ozil at Madrid under Mourinho that he posted, but the same Ozil apart from this season has been average under Wenger. Now he had the guts to mention Oscar, that over-hyped Brazilian. You no see say I no gree argue am with am? I just wish he can take the Oscar argument to Chelsea thread and watch how Chelsea fans go attack am. ![]() |
Kudos to Elampiro for wasting his epistles over Kagawa that would never agree with him. Keep wasting your time. ![]() |
Diademk07:LOL. I won't even debate this issue with you, just go to Shekpe thread and bring up the issue of Oscar being a quality player and see the rebuttals you'd get. ![]() |
diggz:Just imagine how Ibime will feel seeing Kagawa10 calling Oscar a good quality player. LMAO. ![]() |
I intensely wish this trophy doesn't save LvG's job. I really pray it doesn't. |
SailorXY:TBH, United should have won this match coz we've missed more chances than Palace and hit the bar twice. But that's not an excuse coz the team lacks direct mode of football, always passing to the wing and then crossing straight to Fellani to head in, which is the lamest football tactics that even a foetus can decode and easily block. Utd look more like scoring but the players we have are bang average. Now Rashford is out injured, he's one of our best players in this match. I pray he recovers on time to make Euro. |
AdeLaNa1:If that idíot called van Goat plays Young at the wings, you'll see him develop sense immediately. Blame van Goat not Young. |
It's today that I've confirmed that having a coaching badge is utterly useless and waste of resources. Van Gaal has a coaching badge and still the worst coach of all times? Young, a winger that doesn't know the rudiments of striking was used by Van Goat against Tottenham and we got ráped. Everyone condemned him for it but this curse on Utd called van Goat still goes ahead to play Young as our CF with Marital still on the pitch. I give up hope finally. I'm not gonna wail on United issue again till I've known this idiòt's fate after tonight. |
How did we end up with LvG? I mean, how did this fool end up winning titles with his mediocrity? Mata has repeatedly killed our attacks through his wing time and time again yet he can't replace him with an actual winger or move him to the midfield. On so many occasion Mata has gotten space to swing an inviting cross but coz he's not right-footed, he ends up putting an end to such chances. It will never be well with you Woodward. Fellani missed that goal coz he didn't hit it with conviction, he just played it without any direction. |
JigsawKillah:No be like that my brother. I've seen this thread since the day it was created but I don't vote in Dark's battle anymore after I was accused of favouring him in my verdicts, so I decided to stay out of his battles in order to avoid such scenarios. I didn't clarify on time coz I thought you'd know. |
darkenedrebel:Desperate times calls for desperate measure. I don't blame the OP. ![]() |

MrTA:Of what use would Fellani playing or not have on the Tuesday game? We are out of the UCL. Time to focus on sacking Gaal fast so we can rebuild. |
darkenedrebel:LOL. See, the poster that replied this your post first has proven me right. My mind told me it might end up like Arrow and I agreed coz the only episode I saw made me realise it probably not gonna interest me in the subsequent. There's nothing much between Flash and Arrow, same DC Comics product. It's gonna go the way of Arrow, watch and see. ![]() |
SailorXY:Lwkmd. That's Kagawa10 alright, he just decided to switch to the one you quoted. LOL. |
raumdeuter:I think you are getting it wrong by judging rivalries, or better still, Man United-Liverpool rivalry strictly from the inception of EPL in 1992 when United have been more prosperous. They are many criterion for determining rivalry between 2 sides. Have you forgotten that way back before Ferguson came, Liverpool were fruitful while United were fruitless? Just coz the scale of success tipped in each club's favour at different times doesn't stop or erode the deep-rooted rivalry between us. It's considered among the biggest football fixture in English football, ranked alongside El Clasico, Derby della Madoninina and Super Clasico as one of the most famous rivalries in the world. Liverpool-United rivalry has been in existence for over 120 years, waaaayyy before we were born, and it's not even football related matters that started it all. You are forgetting that what constitute a rivalry between 2 clubs is not usually the number of titles or success but usually the "history" between them. Here, read up to know that even Man Utd-Man City or Liverpool-Everton rivalry is NOTHING compared to that of United-Liverpool. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2016/mar/09/manchester-united-liverpool-europe-sir-alex-ferguson https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-rivalry-between-Manchester-United-F-C-and-Liverpool-F-C https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liverpool_F.C.Manchester_United_F.C._rivalry This is a special kind of enemity and it'd take more than years of success to wipe out. BTW, it's not as if Loserfool are bottom table club. They always finish up in top 6-7 most of the time and have even missed out on the EPL title twice in recent seasons. Arsenal are our rival even when we were beating them under Ferguson and when we bought V. Persie. You may argue that the rivalry wasn't intense like during Viera-Keane era, but they were and are still our rivals regardless. Barcelona have destroyed Real Madrid more than Madrid have done to them since Pep era till now, does it mean Madrid aint their rivals? No!! On your question about Leceister being our rival, my answer is no. One season of Leceister being a champion after fighting relegation won't change their reputation. For them to be considered our rivals, they'd have to replicate their success consistently. If they finish in 10th place next season, they won't even be Tottenham's rivals. So one season is not enough. I'd rather consider Spurs as rivals more than them and this is coz of Van Gaal's mediocrity. If Ferguson was still in-charge there's no way Spurs will finish ahead of us. Spurs were no match for us till Moyes and Gaal came along. For me, our main rivals are Assanal, Citeh, Shekpe and Loserfool. One of the low IQ individuals even postedNa wa o. Serie A top sides sabi move between rival teams o. |
darkenedrebel:You didn't persuade me much to watch Arrow unlike A.O.S. I think you told me to watch Arrow just twice. But I refused though coz the season was so insipid that I swore never to watch it no matter the convincing. As for The Walking Dead, I'm done with season 4 and I'm finding it hard trying to continue coz it's now becoming drab too. I've seen Flash season 1 episode one but I don't know if I should watch it coz I have a feeling it will end up being another Arrow-esque series with the enjoyment tailing off after the first 2 season. |
raumdeuter:Dortmund is Bayern's biggest rivals in about 4-5 seasons now and that's why they have been some articles about Bayern snapping up their best players. Not all rivalries are from the same city. In about 4 years on from now, Dortmund may fade away and another major rival will rise up for Bayern. Bayern is just the main constant in the equation. And, I don't support the notion that Stuggart is Bayern's rivals. Maybe about a decade ago but not of recent times. Stuggart are not Bayern's rival neither are Wigan for United. Leverkusen during the days of Ballack were rivals to Bayern, nowadays, only Dortmund and maybe Wolfsburg comes to mind. But to be fair on Bayern, if the rich clubs like United, Barca, Madrid, Chelsea, Juventus, Man City, PSG etc., were to switch places with Bayern, they would do the same. The big boys always buy from their juniors and in so doing weakens them most of the time. What Bayern is doing is weakening their Bundesliga opponents by buying the top performing players of different teams, but so have other teams done too. Barca - Villa, Alves, Alba, Rakitic, etc. Man Utd - Shaw, Schneiderlin, Valencia, Young, etc. Chelsea - Torres, Demba Ba, Ashley Cole, etc. City - Nasiri, Adebayor, Tevez, Clichy, etc. Liverpool - Llalana, Lovren, Clyne, etc. But I think the problem people/media have with Bayern is the relative ease at which they can buy from their most direct rival and their best stars for that matter, in this Dortmund. In EPL, it's not easy like that, except when Citeh were poaching Gayners players as easy as ABC. ![]() |
darkenedrebel:Not even your preaching could convince me to watch Arrows after season 1. I knew that series was up to no good since season 1. ![]() |
raumdeuter:In football terms (using EPL as a premise) a rival necessarily means any of our opponents in football. I know that, but we ain't talking about that kind of rivalry. Some rivalries are more than just mere rivalry. It's more like hate or traditional enemies. You can't compare rivalry between Wigan and Man Utd to Man City and Man Utd. That's why we have derby battles which is usually fierce and have fans on each side going the violent route sometimes. Liverpool have not won a league in 25years but we remain eternal enemies. The hate between us is much more than titles or current form. If for example Man Utd wants to play Bolton, you won't see several editorials describing the match and even unearthing old matches long before I was born. But if it's Liverpool vs. Man Utd, in about 10 sites, you'll find 8 of them giving you the history of their rivalry. If you doubt it, Google Man Utd vs. Liverpool rivalry and Man Utd vs Bolton Wanderers rivalry, let's see how many sites will ever acknowledge any sort of rivalry between United and Bolton as compared with United and Liverpool. Even before Man City became big, there's no denying the hate and bitterness that brews between both sides. That's the kind of rivalry I'm talking about. Man Utd and Fulham (Smalling) rivalry is non-existent except that they are 2 opposing teams (normal rivalry). Barca vs Madrid is the sort of rivalry I'm talking about, where Messi said the ENTIRE Barca fans and players are rooting for Atletico (another rival of recent times for them but nothing compared to the hate existing between Madrid and Barca) to win Madrid. It's that kind of rivalry that exists between Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid. Rivalry differs. The sort of hate between Lazio and Roma matches is not found between Roma and any other club, same goes for Lazio. |
lekkie073:Even in Madrid he's poor player. Enough of Madrid selling trash to us. They can keep him for all we care. Why didn't Madrid sell Ramos to us? You think say Madrid no get sense? You must think Madrid have an idiotic Woodward to manage their transfers. |
I'd rather United field 10 players every matchday than have that waste of human space called Rodriguez anywhere near Old Trafford. One of the most over-hyped piece of football shìt I've seen in my entire existence on earth. Nonsense!! |
Dayo is calling Southmapton our rivals? The selling club that have sold Clyne, Llalana, Lambert and Lovren to Loserfools. Sold Bale to Tottenham. Sold Chambers, Chamberlain and Walcott to Gayners and would have sold Schneiderlin to Arsenal if not for Wenger being stingy. Sold Shaw and Schneiderlin to us. When did you see Chelsea selling their players to Man Utd or Looserfool like that? Or United selling their players to Man City or Chelsea or even Loserfool like that? You wanna know what is rivals, Dayokanu? How about Ferguson refusing to sell an expired and washed-up Heinze to Loserfool rather shipping him off to Madrid? That's rivalry not Fulham selling Smalling to us. P.S: I've never been against Bayern buying players from anywhere, it's none of my business and I give less fúcks about it. Life itself is not fair and the big boys/richer guys will always have their ways in life. I'm sure if zebras could speak they will complain bitterly about lions eating them, but that will never stop. I only dabbled into this argument to correct your notion of rivalry/rivals. Telling us that Wigan is our rivals is an insult to our intelligence. |
GBR1:No mind Dayokanu. Imagine listing players like Smalling and Jones as players we go from our "rivals." SMH. |
raumdeuter:Keyword is "rivals/rivalry." Only V. Persie fits into that word. Aston Villa are not our rivals. Everton are not our rivals. Southampton are not our rivals. Wigan are not even anyone's rivals. Mata was deemed surplus at Shekpe with Moaninghoe making it clear he wasn't gonna be a part of his squad, so they sold him to us. If he was among the bedrock of Moaninghoe's plan, including Old Trafford wouldn't have gotten us Mata. So in all those names you listed up there, only V.persie can be considered a player gotten from our rivals. In the last 4 years, tell us the players we've bought from Man City, Liverfool, Arsenal (Persie excluded), Shekpe (Mata excluded coz he was not part of Mourinho's plan) or Tottenham. |
GBR1:Gracias!! |
Diademk07:Stop yelping, I'm not the source of your frustrations. |
RuuDie:Lmao. This is the man Kagawa10 wants as our gaffer next season. Lwkmd!! A senile retarded old dumbfuck!! blaming the pitch? This is a new one. LMAO!! ![]() |
PietroRico:LOL. When GBR1 and I were saying it, Kagawa10 was busy calling us haters. Now the big boys are back from injury, Fosuh-Mensah and co don disappear from bench. ![]() LvG is a scam. Youth my black sexy azz!! |
Diademk07:Which is what I'm doing to get your god sacked. I pray it works. ![]() |
GBR1:The FA cup ain't my cup of beans. I just want us to miss out on UCL and get Gaal sacked. But wait o. . . What if our next gaffer insist that Rooney won't be sold nor benched. I don die be that. ![]() |
