The same Mourinho backed Ed on not spending excessively. Do you think transfers are that easy? Why haven't Mbappe left with all the suitors he'd had for over a month now? Why haven't Liverpool signed Keita and Van Dijk for over a month now? It's not easy and there's no special trophy for signing players fast. Ed should take his time and try to reduce the asking prices.

Anybody that buys the theory of Morata being the first choice is simply being sentimental, same for anyone that thinks Lukaku was Mourinho's second choice after Griezmann when Morata was the second choice.

I've vilified Woodward in the past, but he's been trying his best this season. Even Mourinho admitted that Ed is not finding it easy to get the players he want. Do you know that clubs are trying to maga us? Any player we go for they quote obscene amount for him. Go and read what Inter President or is it their coach said about Perisic and the reason why they're charging us so much for an average player. We shouldn't throw money around just coz we're rich. Ed is trying, it's not easy.

Chess' first round was too hot, probably the best round I've seen him spit. If he had come this prepared against Ave, it wouldn't have been easy for Ave.

Who do you think won the battle? I had Roc at 2-1 but that's coz I didn't get many of Chess' second round (I no be Yankee guy). Majority thought Chess won, though.

If Jose can play him regularly, he can get up to 15 league goals, we seriously need another 10-15 league Goal player apart from the main striker. Again for all Ibrahimovic's elegance, I think he slows our game a little and missed sitters, that's not taking anything away from his superb goal return, but with Lukaku and Rashford our attack looks more fast and unpredictable.

Don't take that guy serious, he's an unstable character. Last season, before matches started, he'll be cussing Mourinho as a bastărd and what not; when we're behind or it looked the match will end in draw, he'll be mocking Mourinho supporters and talking about how he's been right all along about Mourinho, but immediately our team scored and eventually won the match, he'll do a 360 degree turnaround to take the glory all in the space of few minutes.

It's means nothing for now. Pre-season matches are exactly what Mourinho called them - training sessions. It's just for the money and to keep the players fit. We've seen our past failures of coaches perform favorably in pre-season only to struggle when the league started.

Good or bad pre-season doesn't necessarily amount to bad or good league campaign, so don't judge yet.

Nonetheless I'm happy for the win. The lads shouldn't play too hard though, in order to impress Mourinho so they don't cop injuries ahead of the league campaign.

It's not about the payment for United fans, but for City fans. Considering the rivalry, it's insulting to City fans to have to go through United TV to watch their team. I'm indifferent about both Lukaku and Morata. I've never been really much into them and have always wanted Aubameyang, and still do. I wish we had gotten Aubameyang, but let's see what Ukaku's got to offer.

They already know this, hence why they frustrated that deal. Morata wanted to leave, Mourinho wanted him badly. You could even feel this by his tone in that press conference. At a point United players were very convinced he'd sign because he'd already agreed a deal with us remaining for Madrid to play their own part.

Madrid couldn't stand on his way to leave, so in order to ruin the party for us, they refused to lower their asking price which scuppered the deal. They just paid us back for frustrating De Gea's deal last season. Fair game, TBH.

Madrid were demanding £70m plus add-ons on a benchwarmer. You sef reason the matter na. Together with the add-ons which was rumored to be 15m, Morata would have cost us 85mil just 5mil short of what is rumored to be Lukaku's total money which I doubt because only 75mil is the official fee.

Truth is, Madrid elevated his money just to pay us back for DDG. I'm very glad Woodward wisened up and left. The fee is outrageous.

I could go on and on, but you already got my point. It's a dog-eat-dog world out there. The EPL is a war zone and even amongst the players, they constantly are competing with each other trying to nail a starting berth. It's either you go hard, or you go home. No time for chere kambia. No dulling. You won't get this truth anywhere in the tabloids from Romero, but know this, deep in his heart, he's praying for DDG to leave for Madrid so he can take over as our number one goalie. This is the truth. Everybody wants to play buy not all can be starters. Life ain't fair.

The City pursuing Sanchez, don't they have Sane? Don't you think they also know what it means for Sane and his agent? But yet they don't care as they will do their best to get the best in order to achieve success.

Every team will have starters, they will have bench-warmers too, it's up to the bench-warmers to displace the starters in their positions when given a chance or they will be benched and probably leave. That's not our business. No space for emotions, we need success, we need goals and Sanchez has that in his DNA.

Does Sanchez worth the stress? I mean hes a great player but we have enough players in our frontline that it is difficult to fit them all in.

Bayern Munich and City, including AC Milan wouldn't be chasing him if he's not worth the stress upon the huge amount he's demanding.

It's not about having "enough players" in our front line, it's about having "quality players" in our front line. What did "enough players" get us last season? Finishing 6th and having Bournemouth scoring more than us. In short the gap between our top scorer and our second top scorer was wider than an Olosho's c**t!!
