slimghost:You're confused, Bro. You've just stated why Ed is now wasting time on deals so as to avoid the embolden in your post. Shouldn't you be happy that Ed is now more wiser than before? So which scenario do you want? Madrid: Morata is 70m with 15m add-ons Ed: no shaking. Here's the money. Tottenham: Dier is 60m. Take it or leave. Ed: money dey. Oya here's the cheque for 60m. No time. Inter: we hear say una rich. Pay 50m for Perisic. Ed: you be man wey sabi. Here's a cheque of 50mil. Just imagine the money being called for average players and you're complaining that Ed has spent much in the past. Ain't you happy that he's refusing to accept the fees easily? Na wa o. The same Mourinho backed Ed on not spending excessively. Do you think transfers are that easy? Why haven't Mbappe left with all the suitors he'd had for over a month now? Why haven't Liverpool signed Keita and Van Dijk for over a month now? It's not easy and there's no special trophy for signing players fast. Ed should take his time and try to reduce the asking prices. |
diggz:Lol. May your heart desires come to fruition, bruv. |
diggz:Bro, you be my person and I go give you better advice. Try pray and push your son to football angle if he's interested. The money there dey outrageous. Even if he's not good enough, if he gets to ply his in EPL, omo you don hammer. Na just to buy you expensive whip off his ist contract like Tammy Abraham. I don swear say I must push one of my future children to football. Rap good but unless you're an A-list rapper like Drake, I no see how M.I fit rich near Iheanacho. Football over rap mehn. ![]() |
SIRcumalot:And they ain't even world-class. Mtcheew. Mourinho should forget about Perisic and just get Oriol Romeu/Matuidi and probably this Aurier that wants to leave PSG, and we're good to go. I need no Matic or Perisic for stupid amounts. |
diggz:Lol. For just 30billion for my akant, I can wake up your dead rap career. ![]() |
chrisley024:Anybody that buys the theory of Morata being the first choice is simply being sentimental, same for anyone that thinks Lukaku was Mourinho's second choice after Griezmann when Morata was the second choice. |
SIRcumalot:He probably wants Ed to dole out £60m to those thieves called Tottenham over a mediocre Dier. God forbid, we'd rather use Hererra and Carrick instead. |
joeace2020:Real Madrid are rich yet getting good talents for peanuts. We shouldn't waste money just coz we want to get AVERAGE PLAYERS. Mourinho is even backing Ed in his policy of refusing to pay atrocious money for every player. This excessive spending has got to stop. I'm with Ed this time around. |
slimghost:I've vilified Woodward in the past, but he's been trying his best this season. Even Mourinho admitted that Ed is not finding it easy to get the players he want. Do you know that clubs are trying to maga us? Any player we go for they quote obscene amount for him. Go and read what Inter President or is it their coach said about Perisic and the reason why they're charging us so much for an average player. We shouldn't throw money around just coz we're rich. Ed is trying, it's not easy. |
funlord:I spar with humans not nose-shaped burnt offerings and products of a bukkakė session with drunk village grandpas. He's not my cup of tea. BTW, you always forget to insert the I preceding the A in my moniker and would've me made me miss mentions from you not from a direct quote, all the time if I don't regular catch up. Lol. ![]() |
Ibime:And here I was thinking you've dumped rap battles since you left Rap Battles Section. I didn't even get the punchline in the embolden when I watched that battle, I just understood it now you've written it out. It just clicked now. Wow. Chess' first round was too hot, probably the best round I've seen him spit. If he had come this prepared against Ave, it wouldn't have been easy for Ave. Who do you think won the battle? I had Roc at 2-1 but that's coz I didn't get many of Chess' second round (I no be Yankee guy). Majority thought Chess won, though. diggz:I didn't know you fancy rap battles. That battle was nice, but you can also check out this one below, one of the favorite battles of last year. Both ninjas came prepared, all the 3 rounds were fire. So many quotables. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y43s5L1nkuU |
CapitalCee:Spot on. |
diggz:Don't take that guy serious, he's an unstable character. Last season, before matches started, he'll be cussing Mourinho as a bastărd and what not; when we're behind or it looked the match will end in draw, he'll be mocking Mourinho supporters and talking about how he's been right all along about Mourinho, but immediately our team scored and eventually won the match, he'll do a 360 degree turnaround to take the glory all in the space of few minutes. Don't take him serious. |
Ibime, have you watched this battle, Chess Vs. Tay Roc? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s71Y7sNb3cg I ain't nothing like none of 'em cats docking// that's bluffing// questioning me, gon' make me axe something// Nigga, you'll get hit with a deuce when when the strap dumping// he fall... I'll re-duce him I'm tryna subtract something!!// ~Tay Roc You can't handle the old Roc that was a tennager// I'll put your face on the front of Mac that's a screensaver// strap with a green laser// he thought he's safe at his mom's crib... I caught him slipping on a porch like a dream chaser// ~Tay Roc Coz I don't want nobody else to witness// silencer . . . The way I stuck my nose in him like nobody's business!!// I'll start from the top of his head to his fuckin neck, then shoot his fuckin chest, his stomach next... Then hit Roc bottom... He got nothing left!! ~ Chess I got the K on Roc like I'm spelling it the proper way. ~ Chess. I catch you writing about my girl, in my eyes you're a dead man// it sound döpe but that shît you wrote in that book you gon' regret it fam// see, this is where Tay digs his own grave for tryna be the best man!! // ~ Chess This last bar by Chess, I missed it the first time, But when it finally hit me, it had me like WTF?!! Such brilliance in one line. Damn. |
afrodoc2:It's sad, really. I've already given up hope of a new LB because Mourinho wants only the LW and DM acquisitions. It'll be really stupid having to wait for Shaw to come back and perform admirably only to serve Mourinho another dish of injury for the 4th year running. Mourinho doesn't see anything wrong with our LB and it's shocking. |
Spy360:It's means nothing for now. Pre-season matches are exactly what Mourinho called them - training sessions. It's just for the money and to keep the players fit. We've seen our past failures of coaches perform favorably in pre-season only to struggle when the league started. Good or bad pre-season doesn't necessarily amount to bad or good league campaign, so don't judge yet. Nonetheless I'm happy for the win. The lads shouldn't play too hard though, in order to impress Mourinho so they don't cop injuries ahead of the league campaign. |
MRTA7, read this link below and see the complaints of Shitty fans on why they feel insulted with the whole idea. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/premier-league/manchester-city-united-derby-pre-season-where-can-i-watch-it-what-time-mutv-a7848811.html |
PietroRico:Even Juventus is well seasoned into this and lately, Madrid has learned their lesson. I don't even know why we have scouts when they're practically useless. |
obyno2017:Not this time around. Our first choice was a lightweight, Griezmann. Our second choice another lightweight, Morata. Mourinho has talked about changing his style to suit our pattern so it shouldn't surprise you. |
MRTA7:It's not about the payment for United fans, but for City fans. Considering the rivalry, it's insulting to City fans to have to go through United TV to watch their team. City fans will also be paying United and increasing our revenue. Plus City from the Twitter feeds I read looks like they don't have their own TV yet. The rivalry is the issue here. |
Lana1:LOL. No, you misunderstood the news. It's Man City fans that are to subscribe to MUTV to watch their game with us. |
Lana1:The guy is a cold-hearted lifter. He showed the verse no mercy as he copied the whole shît. And i had already applauded him for a great comeback only for it to turn to be fake. |
ChristineC:The extra money has never been their problem. The fees Chelsea got him for was what they have made up their mind to sell him for, but in order to price United out of the deal, they increased his valuation. Like you said, we've moved on already. I don't care about their painment. We're keeping our DDG. |
funlord:Lord. This copy and paste is legendary. WTF?!! Nigga bit the whole verse!! |
SIRcumalot:I'm indifferent about both Lukaku and Morata. I've never been really much into them and have always wanted Aubameyang, and still do. I wish we had gotten Aubameyang, but let's see what Ukaku's got to offer. Yes, you're right about the price. Lukaku was always going to cost more than Morata and rightly so. |
SIRcumalot:They already know this, hence why they frustrated that deal. Morata wanted to leave, Mourinho wanted him badly. You could even feel this by his tone in that press conference. At a point United players were very convinced he'd sign because he'd already agreed a deal with us remaining for Madrid to play their own part. Madrid couldn't stand on his way to leave, so in order to ruin the party for us, they refused to lower their asking price which scuppered the deal. They just paid us back for frustrating De Gea's deal last season. Fair game, TBH. |
PietroRico:Exactly. Madrid had no intention of selling him to us that's what United fans are not understanding. We chased the guy for up to a month and the total money was outrageous. Woodward had to back off. If he goes for less to Chelsea, then it's not shocking because Madrid have no beef with Chelsea. |
Tvegas:Madrid were demanding £70m plus add-ons on a benchwarmer. You sef reason the matter na. Together with the add-ons which was rumored to be 15m, Morata would have cost us 85mil just 5mil short of what is rumored to be Lukaku's total money which I doubt because only 75mil is the official fee. Truth is, Madrid elevated his money just to pay us back for DDG. I'm very glad Woodward wisened up and left. The fee is outrageous. |

MaziOmenuko:Mazi Omenuko, udo diri gi. Honestly, if you run a big club with the mentality of the emboldened, success will elude that club, no offence. The emboldened is the M.O of even average clubs out there talk more of top clubs. Madrid have fowrads/wing forwards like Benzema, Ororo, Bale, Vasquez, Asensio, Morata etc., but they're going for Mbappe. Why are they not considering the emotions and agents of non-starters like Morata, Vasquez and Co? Chelshit have Kante, Chalobah (sold), Matic, Baker, Fabregas etc., but still bought Bakayoko. Why didn't they consider the happiness of Fabregas and Co that will have lesser chance of playing and might with the arrival of Bakayoko? United have Smalling, Jones, Rojo, Tuanzebe, Bailly, etc., but still got Lindelof. So you think they don't know what it means for the happiness and agents of these older CBs? Arsenal have Chamberlain, Walcott etc., but are chasing Lemar. Atletico have Grameiro, Griezmann, Torres, but chased/are chasing Lacazette/Costa I could go on and on, but you already got my point. It's a dog-eat-dog world out there. The EPL is a war zone and even amongst the players, they constantly are competing with each other trying to nail a starting berth. It's either you go hard, or you go home. No time for chere kambia. No dulling. You won't get this truth anywhere in the tabloids from Romero, but know this, deep in his heart, he's praying for DDG to leave for Madrid so he can take over as our number one goalie. This is the truth. Everybody wants to play buy not all can be starters. Life ain't fair. The City pursuing Sanchez, don't they have Sane? Don't you think they also know what it means for Sane and his agent? But yet they don't care as they will do their best to get the best in order to achieve success. Every team will have starters, they will have bench-warmers too, it's up to the bench-warmers to displace the starters in their positions when given a chance or they will be benched and probably leave. That's not our business. No space for emotions, we need success, we need goals and Sanchez has that in his DNA. Does Sanchez worth the stress? I mean hes a great player but we have enough players in our frontline that it is difficult to fit them all in.Bayern Munich and City, including AC Milan wouldn't be chasing him if he's not worth the stress upon the huge amount he's demanding. It's not about having "enough players" in our front line, it's about having "quality players" in our front line. What did "enough players" get us last season? Finishing 6th and having Bournemouth scoring more than us. In short the gap between our top scorer and our second top scorer was wider than an Olosho's c**t!! |
