dopeJemi: this is why I thought you didn't understand my post
I didn't say all our players shouldn't be in excellent form, i said, assuming all three are in excellent form, what happens to Rojo? the coach's ability to make all three happy will be crucial at this stage, hence the 3-5-2 I suggested which doesn't seem like a bad formation to try out considering the fact that we are still after belotti
that has been my point No coach can make everyone happy. One person must be benched. Varane was unhappy when Pepe and Ramos were preferred over him, he wanted reassurance and could've left if not for Zidane and probably the fact we're still struggling. Now this season he's taken over from Pepe and Pepe being unhappy along with fact that he's offered just a year contract, left. There is nothing Mourinho can do about it. If he plays 3 of them he might end up destabilising the whole squad. |

dopeJemi: I honestly don't think you understood my post
I would like to think that man management is essential to a club's success and I hope we won't have to sing "the one that got away" tune 2years from now If you check history of many clubs, top clubs inclusive, you'll see that stories of "the one that got away" are replete in all of them. Chelshit had it in KDB and Lukaku though they're about to buy him back. United had it in Pogba (bought back) and Pique. Madrid had it in Carvajal (bought back) Barcelona had it in Thiago. Etc. The list is endless. Point is, you can't keep everyone happy. Those on the bench will be unhappy and will leave and once they blow up, they become "the one that got away". Nobody is perfect and NO coach can keep everyone happy. Zidane just won UCL and La Liga but you have quality players like Rodriguez and Morata feeling sad. Even Isco was among before taking his chances. Next season it's either he's benched or Bale is benched before he can play. So we've to get used to it and not use coz of it to stop us getting quality players in all positions. When you have Morata and Rodriguez on your bench, that's when you know you can compete at all fronts with a strong bench. We need everyone to be on form, those that will "get away" will get away, there's nothing we can do about it. |

Raumdeuter, I want to ask you a question that's been troubling me for years. Almost every year this question keeps popping up in my head. Since I can't bear this pain alone no more I've decided to ask you this important question. . . Why are San Marino repeatedly given to Germany year after year just for them to be rapėd each time? Are San Marino not tired? Are Germany national team born without human conscience? |

AdisaOwala: The way some of us are so quick to question the loyalty of fellow UTD fans here...all because a certain player (or even the manager) is being criticized is disgusting to say the least . I only even asked a "harmless" question for Christ's sake.
I didn't even have the intention of "Opening Pogba's can of worms" ( I coulda done that with match reports/player ratings in my response to the fella) but alas, he decided to be uncivil in his response. If I may add sef , Pogba's case has been trashed out on numerous occasions and despite the fact that my views might be contrary to what some peeps feel about him, I think we all have a common ground - which is to see the Frenchmen improve next season atleast in the interest of the club we support. Don't blame CapitalCee, he's new here and there's no way he'd have known you're a United fan. That's why he even thought you're a Shekpe fan. You also haven't been posting much here lately. So it's an honest mistake with no intention to deliberately malign you. A softer approach like you did now to clear things up a bit would have sufficed to let him know you're not the enemy, IMHO. Like I do criticise Mourinho many times but I won't stand the likes of Lilkesh coming here to bash him. I think that's the issue with CapitalCee and Pogba's case - he knows Pogba didn't have a brilliant season by the standard expected of him and can still improve but he won't allow Chelshit fans take ridiculous potshots at him. |

Like hazard never disgrace the Herrera before by sending him off for reckless tackle on him Why did Kante read the handwriting on the wall and left? If Danny Drinkwater can lift EPL with Leicester, Herrera can lift champions league with them, The season Leicester won EPL, as outstanding as Kante may be, Mahrez and Vardy were the best players, so don't take it as if kante handed Leicester the league on his own. That same team plus Ndidi, humbled Sevilla and gave Athletico a run for their money. You think herrera can lift epl with Leicester.. so manure play ball possession football under mou abi while Kante only excel in counter attack team. Clap for yourself. hensben: Now ask yourself Herrera and Oscar are they defensive players? Is mou helping their career by asking them to chase opponent round the field instead of their natural skill on the ball, that is creativity and shooting respectively? Coaches play to players strength, to improve their skills but mou uses players exhaustively for his ego, he uses players like tissue papers. Do you think your wingers are now so bad that known can register 15 goals this past season? His coward/defensive football is responsible for that. Have you notice pogba style of play is declining gradually. http://www.espnfc.com/chelsea/story/2761206/playing-for-jose-mourinho-very-exhausting-demba-ba I'm disappointed with the way you reason. So Mourinho converting Hererra into a more defensive stalwart means he's exhausting him? Are you saying this because you don't like the coach or because you want to win the Kante-Hererra argument? Did Hererra come complaining to you that he's exhausted by Mourinho's method of training? When If Mourinho didn't help Hererra's career, how come when Gaal was helping his career nobody gave a fùck about him? But Mourinho surfaces and destroys his career and pundits are screaming his praises? And Barca are suddenly interested in this player with a spoilt career? Reading you type "Coaches play to players strength" while you still wrote that Gaal "benched Hererra because he wasn't good technically even though that where he was bought to play in" shows you're either hating or clueless or both. You're very confused. According to you, Gaal benched Hererra because he wasn't technically good, then Mourinho came in, found out about this and tried him in another aspect and he excelled, but due to hating you're condemning Mourinho for getting his tactic spot on? Between Mourinho and Gaal who should be praised for playing to Hererra's strength and bringing out the best in him? You're very confused. So you wanted Mourinho to bench Hererra since he sucked technically but excelled defensively and by so doing cost us this average season we manage to salvage at the end? Mourinho should have stuck with ageing Carrick and defensively inferior Pogba as our DMs in order to pacify you and ruin our season? You no know ball if you call converting a player from his natural position to another position as "slavery". Lahm played as a DM in some matches under Pep. Is Pep is a slave master? Lahm played as a RB in the WC under Klinsmann, was he used as a slave? Sergio Roberto currently plays as a RB for Barca, who sold him into a slavery? Victor Moses plays as a wing-back and ultimately as a RB when Chelshit are defending, Hensben, why is Conte practicing SLAVERY IN ORDER TO BRING OUT THE BEST IN Moses? Pep was a salve master for playing Fabregas as a false nine, no? In short, Chelshit should be closed down for making Azplicueta to switch from his natural RB to LB back to RB and currently as a CB because he's a slave. This is the kind of inexplicable foolishness one gets to hear just so you can win your Kante-Hererra argument. This is why I don't engage in these silly arguments - emotions tend to erase commonsense during such times. Do you think your wingers are now so bad that known can register 15 goals this past season? His coward/defensive football is responsible for that. So when Hazard was scoring goals for Shekpe under Mourinho's second stint, Mourinho was playing in a coward system? It's the same coward system that made Hazard gain weight and turn into a ghost all season in Mourinho's final season? So Hererra who's our DM should not be defensive so as to register 15 goals a season? Is Hererra a winger? So it's Mourinho that made the likes of Rashford, Mhikitaryan and Co to miss open net in matches we were attacking before our final matches? I made a mistake engaging you. Bye. |

Xhaka did not start at old Trafford, Pogba did not start at Emirates as he was mourning his dad.
At old Trafford mikhi(he came back with a knock while representing Armenia) and Lingard our two Widemen were awful while that was the last significant match Rooney started for us, as he was very terrible together with Felliani, even Zidane in his prime will struggle. CapitalCee: If degea want to go he should go. United wanted to even sell him until our asking price put Madrid off, if he talks nonsense or shows anymore lack of commitment, mourinho should bench him and play Romero . has 4 more years in his contact and we are bigger and richer than Madrid so we can afford to dump him on the bench, lose his transfer fee and will not blink. He should be aware that he is not dealing with Moyes or van gaal, this mourinho that ended the careers of legends like casillas and Ashely Cole, benched Pepe with small varane. When he came newly, he Keeps committing expensive errors that cost us the league title that year, the fans and management that just enjoyed the services of the great Van der SAR, were putting up with his calamitous goalkeeping praying and hoping he comes good, now he is world-class and suddenly his girlfriend doesn't like Manchester whether, his mother wants him home, he missed Spanish diet, he doesn't like English TV stations and bla bla bla. I trust mourinho, once he discovers any nonchalant attitude, Romero will take over, let see if he will stay in bench for 4 years. The embolden had me in stitches. I agree with all you said 100%. I've told anyone that cared to listen than I'm sick and tired of DDG's antics and he'd leave if he wants to. I hate it when my club treats a player wonderfully, like royalty and yet the player is playing hide and seek games with us. We've stood by DDG during the hard times, pit him on a £200k a week wages, the highest for a goalkeeper and yet he wants out. He'd please leave. I've said it before that what matters most is having a quality team. If you have a quality team backed with a world-class keeper, that club is very lucky, e.g Bayern with Neuer under Jupp. But when you have a world-class goalie but shitty team, you're going to struggle. E.g United in recent times. A quality team with average keeper will still compete at the highest level. Valdes was an inferior keeper when compared to Casillas, but guess what? Casillas has one Zamora trophy and Valdes has a record 5. It's not rocket science that Valdes achieved that because of the supremely talented Barca side he was in. How can you even test the keeper when you can't bypass that midfield? So DDG should leave if he wants to, all I ask is that Woodward make Madrid pay through their teeth. The starting negotiation fee should be around £65-£70m. If Madrid says no, he'd give them the middle finger and move on. Highest thing, we'll hold onto DDG and allow his contract run down. Who knows, Madrid might move on and DDG will turn around to lie saying he's happy at United and never wants to leave. Clown!! |
