There are no indigenous Igbos there. We grew up here and know everywhere. Or can you name the Igbo town in Benue? We can only say of Idoma/Igala people in parts of Enugu Ezike in Enugu.

Calm bro,

I have met indigenous Igbos from Benue state even Kogi. I didnt`t believe it until I researched. Do you know that there are Igalas in Anambra state. Try and know your country.

There are no indigenous Igbo in Benue except the ones some people google. Agatu is not a tribe but a district in Idoma land just like Otukpo, Adoka, Otukpa etc

Eleko, dont be quick to judge after hearing from only the plaintiff. The other defendant may produce very weildy and counter arguements. The family in question is not a hungry family. All the Enenches are well to do including the Patriarch who is a well known traditional ruler. I believe this action has to do with the tradition of the Idoma people that said that a wife must mourn the deceased husband. How could she run to Abuja? This action could place her as suspect in the death of her husband. She know better having come from the same part of Idoma west or her parents ought to have advised her. I smell rat. If she did what was right, the family could have stood by her. Now, somebody is wiping sentiment and pity for "oppressed" widow without getting to the root.

Wickedness in the name of religion! You extort tithes from poor people, unjustifiably acquire land, build a school that 90percent of your congregation can't afford!

Hate speech. What is extortion? is there any compulsion in any church? Did the Ede community petition any authority that their land was snatched. Do you imagine the tremendous socio-economic benefit that the school will bring to the people? I am sure many communities in Nigeria will well come such development with free donation of land.

The first dream indicates that u re surrounded by great protection, something strong like fire is protectingg u bt some evil deeds u participate on will quench dis fire nd u wil be less protected(dat ws y u re tring 2 escape because evil dnt lik d present of d fire around u), Becareful. The second dream is very very clear to prove to u dat once the fire protecting u has been quench,(the fire is a very strong pilar) ur enemies will begin to pull down all d progesses u hv made in life,u wil begin to seek for help bt wil end-up with a wrong helper which wil cost u what u wil never be able to provide. My dear,i didn't c u dieing in dat dream, wat i am seeing is suffering nd pains. Please stop what ever evil u re doing nd stand on the right part which has been leading u before

Wanderful and inspired interpretation. My only word of advise to the dreamer is to be careful not to break the hedge for if the gedge is broken, sepents and all manner of demons can penetrate the well wired fence after the fire had been put off to torment you. God is warning you

you should know that the civil war did a lot of psychological damage especially at Igbos losing the war.
So being Igbo (immediately after the war) attracted many marginalizations, coupled with living beside the Urhobos, isokos, ijaws, itsekiri, bini etc who had an anti-Igbo grudges.
So some Efulefus had to deny being Igbo to be seen and accepted as a Proper Deltan by the other tribes..
Its a civil war hangover.
We Aniomas are proudly part of the Igbo Nation ..
Recently, Pat Utomi joined Ezeife in Anambra for Book launch on Ojukwu.
Tony Elumelu was in Enugu as a guest speaker in Enugu economic summit. Etc
We know our root.

The hangover effect of the civil war should be over by now. All Igbos please unite and stop singing and dancing this divisive drum beats that allow Arewa to go to your backyard and steal your wealth. If we Idomas have the resemblance of Igbo like the Anioma or Ikwerre, we could have gladly joined the Igbo nation on our own. But our own ancestors sold us to Arewa who now breed hersdmen to match on our sleeping villages in the night. Our Igbo neigbors did not do such evil against us. We love the Igbos

Hausa and Yoruba tried very hard to divide your nation for so long while uniting themselves. Why did Yoruba not say Ekiti, Ondo, Akoko are not Yorubas. Better wise up and unite and close the small small differences between you.

It's funny how you say " they won't suffer reprisals in the hands of the Yorubas".

Do you mean Yorubas or the Street URCHINS who just happen to be of Yoruba extraction ?

Watch your speech, otherwise, you might give the very very wrong impression that the jobless , lazy, drug addicted and criminal STREET URCHINS who constitute a nuisance and obstruc Commerce all across Lagos are representative of the the Yoruba RACE.

Anyone who thinks these skirmishes are about Igbo versus Yoruba is an idiot.

Let's call Street URCHINS what they are: Criminal nuisance.

Yorubas , as a people and as a culture, do not ever condone or encourage laziness, nuisance, rascality and criminality.

anya my brother. Am not idoma. But i have countless number of friends that are idoma.

You are so on point. I was discussing this issue with some idomas and tivs in my area can u imagine some idomas that were not from agatu were not touched by what happen to agatu people as if agatu was in ghana. Is agatu not a faction of the idoma tribe?

So many. One even told one of my agatu friend that 'na una dey do wahala with fulani people abi'? An idoma for that matter.

Sincerely benue will be doomed if you people dont address this issue of i dont care attitude and e no consign me no be our side the thing happen attitude displayed by fellow idomas and tivs.

Idoma people have problem. They dont want to die but want to enjoy. They wanr others to die for them while they will be forming ajebutter to enjoy what others have suffered to die for.

Where are those worshipping aleku? Is aleku no longer working or powerful?

Yet these same benue people who claimed to love jesus dont are the biggest sinners. Gossippers bad biters bed belleism...enemies of progress using charms and killing people with juju yet they are calling jesus.

You have a personal quarel with Idoma people? Fulanis will take you that they dread Agatu more than vipers. More Fulanis have been sunk at the Benue trough that Idomas. The latest one was the use of mercenaries and many of the dead bodies were believe to be carcases of the hired killers. It was reinforcement i a war like that made elderly, women and children to vacate their houses which made it easier for Agatu homes to be torched. Agatu is one out of about 25 districts in Idoma landand the spirit is one. All Idomas are one whether in Cross River, Nasarawa, Benue Or Enugu states. The Fulanis are hiding in Nasarawa state which can be over run by Benue in an all out hostility

Anioma is Benin origin but because of .........ibo population...some of them speak a dialect of ibo ........but they are not really ibos.......know ur history.........the real ibos don't even understand them when they speak their dialect...... cheesy....Anioma is totally anti biafran nonsense... cheesy

I think you are wrong. Every major tribe even smaller ones have dialetical differences. Igbo is not an exception hence you have the Wawas, Abiribas, Ngwas, Ikwerres, Aniomas etc. Yorubas have similar thing too. If you go to Ondo state alone, you will find nearly 6 dialects that appear distinct but they are all united as Yorubas. Some of them travel as far as from Ekiti to Lagos to claim it , why cos they seem to be more united. Only in the Igbo race that these small differences is being escalated. Some outsiders like it cos that is the way to scatter the Igbo. Igbo please unite. I come from Benue and ours is a small Idoma tribe yet we have differences in Dialet too but when we gather at Otukpo, we are all OYINE whether from Agatu or Otukpa.
