I was thinking they were Sand cats made of sorcery and to be frank, I was surprised when they turned out to be real Sand cats. But the angle you mentioned could just be true, as they normally stay off that route.

Let's look at Victoria and Kennedy's case from this POV, it is generally agreed that Ken was wrong no doubt about that, but it seems Vicky is deriving pleasure from torturing him. Although I agree that Ken needed to be taught a little lesson, but we should also note that there is a limit to how much a man can take such emotional torture. Vicky might end up making Ken distraught and that may cause a spiral effect of things that may not be controllable. She might end up living with regrets when that happens. I just Hope it wouldn't get to that. But right now, I'm beginning to think Ken made a mistake not agreeing to the divorce.

He is arrogant, and talks too much for a talent in magic and sorcery, make him add some wisdom: "everything is not what they seem to be, there is more to situations than meets the eye". He of all should know that being conversant with the world of sorcery. Make him learn hard Truths that will develop him to be better in the art, he could be immensely useful later, he only needs some lessons, the talent is there alright, but it needs refinement.

Lol ok u need to understand a little about FTL(faster than light) travel. When a space ship is in FTL speed it goes beyond the speed of light. In most science fiction genre, the ship is said to be in hyper space. At that stage it cannot be fired on, attacked or stopped because it is moving at a speed beyond the fastest thing in d universe which is light. The only Sci fi story I have seen a hyper space attack is in STAR TREK :INTO THE DARKNESS. And that was because that particular ship was specially modified. But the general principle even in the star trek franchise is once a ship is in hyper space it can't be stopped till it gets out of hyperspace. Same for the STAR WARS franchise too.
Now when we come to Hardwire, remember he is not a pilot, besides that he can't stop a ship already in hyperspace. But if u read d story very well he did blow up the ship with a mini nuke before it got to earth orbit. That is why he will be arrested because from all appearances he shot a diplomatic vessel.

If the nuke he shot at the vessel was effective and the ship got destroyed then I'll be glad.
Anyway, when are you starting the sequel?

Thanks for the mail, it was engaging. Hardwire should have contacted the earth government to inform of his pursuit of the FTL vessel and give them the description of the vessel and also notify of the diplomatic tag the vehicle was carrying. I hope that vehicle wouldn't be successful in its sinister mission. And it's also time for the earth government to be decisive in taking control of the outworld colonies.

Yeah, you're right, most settle for the next best thing instead of the best. It's such a pity to spend a life with someone you didn't love deeply enough. That's why some marriages crumble like a paper castle under the weight of tribulations and temptations. Some even settle with those that love them who they can't reciprocate well enough believing that love can be grown.
But I believe love can't be cultivated, it can only exist naturally.

Now, it wasn't because I couldn't love more than I currently do but simply because my heart is just shielding itself from any breakdown after I had opened my whole being to Dotun. The pain I felt after I saw her kiss another man at her wedding was one I never wish to experience again. I will surely grow to love my wife but it will never be like the one I had for Dotun. That love was pure and without conditions and it comes only just once in a lifetime. I will forever cherish the fact that I actually felt such love for an imperfect being even if I didn't end up with the person. I can relate to this as this is virtually what happened to me and is what is happening currently, mine is just different in that I love the Lady in question so much that there is hardly a day that pass without me thinking about her, but she doesn't feel the same, she's currently married with a fine young boy who I call my godson. I've never gotten over the love I have for her, she is my first love though she never loved me. She'll always be the love I never had. So when solomonbrown64 wrote about the love he had for Dotun, the pain he felt when he saw her kissing her new husband on her wedding day, trust me, that pain cuts deeper than the sharpest of blades.

hey Chumzypinky kindly avail us of the Epilogue. i wanna know what would happen to that selfish and desperate bitch Myra. she wanted Nathan to herself and she ended up making Nathan lose his life and Nene will be a single mother until death because she'll never be able to marry due to the blood oath, belive it or not blood oaths are binding and is unbreakable.
