yes you will buy scratch card at waec office and add it to your documents. i think i added the copy of my passport and went there with my passport. seriously i cant remember right now but it doesnt make much difference. they wont do anything on your document before you go there. they will only treat it that day. but chill till its that time, the embassy will send you an email and you will see all the details needed there adebasket97: Thanks man....I saw one other thing, we are to submit all our original docs two weeks prior to interview.it was stated in a list I saw that we should submit our international passport with it BUT it was stated again that we must present our international passport on arrival at the embassy. Also, we need a result checking card..seems we gotta contact waec for that abi how person go get am......watz up on that. |

yes i know guys with 2.2. haven't seen anyone with third class though. your result isnt the only criteria, if you have first class and get 6 in ielts, you are not going anywhere and in case of my own department, we had an interview and even if you meet all the criteria and fail the interview, you are still out. your first degree will only be used when there are so many qualified applicants. Thats why its advisable to apply to many schools/courses elemzbaba: Are there schools with a track record of admitting students with low cgpa's. Do you know anybody that has been admitted with a third or second class lower? No vex say my question plenty. |

where your sponsor is doesnt matter. the most important thing is to get the funds in your account, get the sponsors statement of acct, and his proof of employment. then you are good to go abbeyseto1: Thanks a lot for the replies.

finland is in northern europe. the 3 transcripts was packaged together in one big envelope so i only paid for one posting instead of in 3 places. you will only write your application number on the envelopes you are sending yourself..and not the one the school is sending.. timyoghurt: abeg how did you go about spending 14 k for 3 transcripts(I must say you are lucky) I wish UNILAG's transcript can be very easy and cheap too. I tot you have to write your online registration number on the envelope. and my last question please is Finland in western Europe or eastern europe ? because UNILAG has different prices for the transcript processing fee for different parts of Europe |

no. transcript posting no concern registrar. you only pay to the school for processing, like my own school na another ppl de for posting. so na to just talk to that one since na inside one envelope he go de. like three transcripts in different envelopes inside one big envelope and they used TNT then. 50k too much o. dont dull adebasket97: Am paying 10k per one bro..x 5...that's 50bar. but wetin dy pain me pass na say na thag my registrar go chop am, and if I may ask, what fees do your school charge for sending 1 transcript abroad by courier (my school doesn't use nipost o) |
Travel › Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by sirkezman: 10:18am On Oct 23, 2014 |
LOL. 9ja guys sha. it doesnt actually make much difference getting multiple transcripts. l spent a total of 14k or there about to get my 3 transcripts to finland and it would have cost around 9k or so if i needed only one. also since it will be sent from your school, UAF do not expect your registration number to be written on the envelope. and i doubt if your school will want to make photocopies for you... except if na your uncle/family member de handle the process Inufele1: Na so o bro. Just thinking about the paying for multiple copies of transcripts. Instead, why not request for 1 copy and ask them to make coloured photocopies(as many copies as you need) that are as good as original copy. You can envelope each with your registration number written on them. Since its going to be sent by your school, UAF should accept it. Just saying... Dont know what elders think? |

Travel › Re: Studying In Finland (free Tuition) by sirkezman: 6:38pm On Oct 17, 2014 |
i think u r wrong. i think u r expected to send transcripts for each course you are applying to. like i sent 3 transcripts because i applied to 3 courses. see this info i got on the FAQ Please note that when applying, you must submit as many sets of officially certified educational documents as there are programmes you are applying to, i.e. a separate set of documents for each programme. adebasket97: NOTE: We are required to send our Transcript from our School once to UAF "even if you're applying for more than one course'
someone asked me about this through email.
@bunmie and sirkezman hope am right o |

one question on application issue
Am applying for like 5courses, and sure I am to send each application in different parcels, Making 5parcels. Can I gather this 5parcels in 1 big envelope? Since am sending to the same UAF address. As that will reduce cost of sending through DHL.....Or how did you do yours |

sure. if you get a job, depending on the hours. using an average of 8euro per hour, it shd be enough to renew and abt the skills u mentioned, i dont really know so i wont say anything abt that. any type of job can be used to change status jeffoe: what of casual/menial job that can provide u with that 560 Eur per month to renew your papers are they also difficult to come by what of if someone has a skill e.g barbing, driving etc would it improve there chance of generating personal income. just don't want to get stranded there. some previous posters in previous post said understanding there language and being closer to the city would make getting a part time job LESS difficult. can this part time job be used to change one visa status. if a professional job doesn't come by. |
