make it an investment for them and make them pay tax on it...encourage the people to be more productive and give them a license to operate

Either way, let them be schooled on their method of refining and how to manage it better

I've said it here before, South African guys don't play those kind of games. You can't manipulate them by withholding sex, they'll be off to the next one unless they really like you, which won't stop them from having sex with other women. Some women need to stop this mentality of using sex as a bargaining chip, as if you're the only one with a vagina out there.

Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, revealed at the weekend that political office holders steal state funds because Nigerians do not stone them.

Amaechi, disclosed this in Lagos during an event organised to pay tribute to Nelson Mandela, challenged Nigerians to hold their leaders accountable.

He said, “If you see a thief and you allow him to be stealing, what have you done? You have stoned nobody; that is why we are stealing. Who have you stoned? They came out and started dancing oil subsidy, oil subsidy. They told you that they stole N2.3trn, what did you do?

“Instead you are protesting ‘bring more oil subsidy’; the oil subsidy that is not reaching the poor. A few individuals are going away with the money and you have done nothing. You are mourning Madiba, who lived up to 95, and he was very angry with Nigeria when he died.

“You’ve heard that $50bn is missing and you have done nothing about it. In some countries people will go on the street until they return that money. It is N8trn, it can change Nigeria.

“Me I want to steal only $1bn, let them bring it. You read Obasanjo’s letter and you are asking why is he writing the letter, is he a South-South man? In fact, when he was there what did he do? You, what have you done? If you don’t take your destiny in your hands, we will go and other leaders will come and continue stealing.”

One cannot try to break family ties, but he should know when you both need your personal space and privacy.

I can understand visits every now and then...but you really need to love having them over to appreciate their presence

It takes prayer to rise beyond challenges.
Truly, it’s not easy being in your shoes and your husband definitely has an obligation towards his family...but still, it takes a man with grace to listen and understand what his partner is going through

Never relent in your prayers and when you find a favourable time, try to sit him down and reach his heart with your words

I pray he comes around and realizes that as you became one in marriage, he needs to stand by you despite attachment to his parents and siblings
