If a woman or man has been screwing each other for a long time, say a few years or even a few months, what is the hold up? Just get married to get rid of the worry on weather or not what they are doing is a sin. It will be an even worse sin if they are lying to their self that they will soon be married and yet never do so.

If to this day, they are still having sex, they should stop lying to their self and stop lying to God. The man is having the milk with out purchasing the cow and the woman would be a stone fool to keep giving the man some if her intensions are to become married. The man already knows how good the womans stuff is, now he can wait until marriage to get it again.


Go and repent, then never screw again until the day you are married

i really don't post that much in the religion section but i found that thread intresting. I found it even more intresting that people would take one stunch stand and accuse others of trying to justify something that is supposedly 'wrong' from a text, but then the next post,they justify what is even more 'wrong' from the same text.

I enjoy your posts so i think i know your stand on Female pastors. If female pastors are ok with you,i don't think anybody should fault Trini girl because she even has more substance to prove her case than any body who is justifying Female pastors and try to make others think that there is nothing wrong with it from the bible.
Its intresting to me that you are staunch on this issue and you say the bible does not change but then you adopt a different stance when it comes to females taking a lead role in worship, something the bible is even more clearly against.

I already told you why I brought up religion in this thread and I explained that it was because both topics are interconnected, if you can't see that, my bad.

I won't be bringing anything up in this topic again about things that are connected to other topics in which you have contributed. I thought the whole thing was to learn and get something out of this topic and if possible learn something and get something from any of these topics. Nairaland is a community and the chance of topics not ending up in other topics/threads is less than zero. Every issue has a beginning, middle and an end. How will you understand the end with out the middle and how ill you understand the middle with out the beginning? How will you have the end, if you don't know the beginning or the middle?

Point being, a lot of these thread/topics are about the end or the beginning, where as the middle or etc. may be over in another thread. It is more than likely, especially when one is critically thinking, how can onel not try to put the three together, that being (beginning, middle and end).

Who knows, maybe you are some kind of expert and you can figure it all out with out taking all three into consideration?

Humans are supposed to be the higher animal because they can discriminate and choose who they will sleep with based on many things. Humans can also make a conscious decision to protect their self from unwanted pregnancy and disease. However, many of us humans don't make these conscious decisions and in those cases, would you say humans are behaving like the lower animal or the higher animal?

If[b] fornication [/b]is when a man or woman is having premarital sex, what does it mean then when two people get married, stay married for a year then divorce? Both of those people remarry other people stay marry for two years then divorce. Again, they remarry other people then divorce. Now they each have slept with at least three different people. If they keep on repeating this pattern of marriage and then divorce, how is that any different from fornication? How can they not be accused of the sin fornication, just because they were married when they had sex? I see a lot of people talking this mess about it is better to marry for sex, than to not marry and fornicate. That has to be the silliest thing I ever heard. People in the church run a muck trying to get a wife who is in their church just so they can screw, that to me is the sorriest thing ever.

I remember my grandfather being disappointed with me for a long time because I had a child out of wedlock. My point is, not getting married does not promise anything that you are promised if you do get married, faithful sex to one person in and out of marriage and a faithful marital sex takes two people who really want to be faithful to each other. If one does not want to be faithful, the whole thing will fall apart.

I think you people need to stop trying to make up ways to make the bible suit your need to not feel as though you are not committing a sin. People go about everyday interpreting the bible the way that they want to interpret, just to suit them and make them feel like a better person who has less sins.

Hell is the ultimate deterrent — an eternity of pain and suffering. You can't come up with a much more brutal retribution than that. The only catch is that the deterrent only works when people a) believe in it, and b) fear it so much that they lay off the violence and sin.
