The mod that pushed this topic is not aware of the seasons in Nigeria. Even the person that started the topic opened it in October, the month of fall.

How many seasons do we have in Nigeria? I want someone to correct me. Let me test something. How well do you know your environment not the one you are fantasizing about?

Hmmmm...they will not hear. Let them have their own experiences.
Life is all about experiences and those experiences make us wiser and sharper, don't you think?

Going to another country is never easy. Most people don't realize that being successful in an environment you didn't grow up in, weren't raised in and don't understand 100% is not easy. Traveling will test you. It will test your limits. It will test your survival mode. It will challenge you. Some overcome these challenges, some don't and if we don't try, we can never know. You can listen to the stories of Sola Sobowale or Don Jazzy. They faced challenges and came back home. Some people will see grace abroad, some people will have to see shege then come back home to see grace. Some people will be seeing grace anyhow anywhere like MTN, everywhere you go grin
One of the things I have learned from travel is that it is a school for learning in life. I would not discourage anyone from facing life challenges. Comfort sometimes makes us slack and I have seen this in life. That's why the migrants always loook like a threat, their thirst for survival is more than the ordinary water you are comfortable drinking wink

Funny how blacks are treated like animals by lighter shades who worship the same deity. My wealthy northern classmate told me that Arabs accuse of them of being lesser creatures, claiming that Allah destined them to become slaves in heaven. Meanwhile, both parties are in Mecca waiting for prayers to begin.

My biggest shock is there are mosquitoes in Saudi Arabia. One would think they would’ve eliminated all of the creatures the way white men do.
Please mention the white man country in your mind and let me show you where the mosquitoes are.

There is no ruling party anywhere in the world that goes to sleep in an election year no matter how good that they have performed. OBJ went on overdrive in the west even with PDP controlling many states and the legislature.

Obi enjoyed the element of surprise in 2023 and he has been bragging about it. Now he's being given hitech politics. He has been sweating and that's why he ran to and out of people that he called structure of criminality. After 2027 he will know his level.
Fair enough, let him prove himself at the polls. Hopefully it is free and fair. I like those kind of contests, prove yourself but unfortunately, we know how it is. Obasanjo's gift to us in 2007 is that we don't have a breakdown of the 2007 general elections. The do or die was so bad, Yar'Adua had to setup the panel for electoral reform and apologize for how he got to power.
PoliticsRe: 2027: Atiku Now APC Best Campaign Manager – Oshiomhole by SixSeven: 12:20pm On May 14
He said: “You mean that APC would be worried about ADC, NDC? I saw Atiku, he is now our best campaign manager because he is attacking Obi, and I see Obi attacking Amaechi.”

Did you read that well? Obi is the main threat to them. Unfortunately, Obi won't attack Amaechi. One of the things Obi had said in the last campaign was that he won't respond to unequals in the campaign, which when you look at it is what all the candidates did. He didn't bother responding to Omokri who was an aide, he said I will talk to your boss. He also does not respond to insults. Soludo tried to demarket him and he called him Professor who knows better can help him fix the problems he did not know how to fix. He call am brother grin

Tinubu tried to demarket him by saying he won't even call his name but he didn't respond to him at tall so if you are expecting Obi to be attacking Amaechi, sorry is your boyfriend's name.

Last time, it was Gbaja saying the ADC guy should scatter them. Tinubu said he will send Akpabio to opposition and now Oshiomole wants them to fight. If the opposition should take any notes from APC's playbook, it's that they don't want Nigerians to demand accountability from them. If you all focus and press APC's neck, e go choke. They've been in power for 12 years, they have 31+ governors, opposition should be their least worry but we know why a man who can't perform on bed will blame his wife and her family for being barren. Let her family be fighting among themselves when he's the actual problem, at least it takes attention away from the elephant in the room🤡
SixSeven:
They know the real result of the last election. It's now obvious Atiku wasn't second. Because I ask myself why Atiku is not more of threat than Obi. I now think that it was deliberate to not make Obi second so that his support base don't have false hope that he could have won the election. I challenge anyone to go and do the stats of election results in areas like army barracks, universities, highbrow estates etc and tell me who won. That is not a statistical representation of the whole result but I personally monitored the results across the country in these places. Why? These are areas where security or elite live so manipulation and thuggery is not likely here. I know my results, you can do your findings. You get it! I know it's not easy but women have thought that emancipation is about financial independence and that women were abused back then because men had more money and that's why he could take a second, third or fourth wife. Women always want to wear the same trousers like men until they find out the reality. Again, it's only a well brought up woman that can honor her man and know his importance in her home. These days, a lot of women are doing better than men, but women are finding late in their 40s to 50s that financial independence is good but that's not what it takes to be a man. The way women react to women is not the same as men, that's why I will advise me that don't depend on them as much as possible if you can. It sounds harsh but these were things old men taught us but we didn't understand. Tell women today, they will say it's misogyny but I don't care. The harsh reality for men is that given the same authority and financial means men have, women will treat men in a way that he will prefer to be a gateman to being her husband. Men must learn this right now. Women are hypergamous. Even if she was not doing well as you before you get married, if you slack and don't improve yourself, she will get tired of you.

A woman is a man who doesn't have to be a man. A man is a woman who is not allowed to be a woman.

Your value is in your virginity, believe it or not. Or your purity, you require higher standards than men. Don't let men get into your pants anyhow, men are opportunists, protect yourself.

You are not sure of a man's intention until he has you.

Education is your best investment. E get whu

Character is beauty. Men will eventually get tired of the boobs and ass. They always claim they want peace. Peace comes from feminity not masculinity.

The more you act like a man, you make a man take the back seat. Never help a man too much, you will kill his hunting spirit.
A woman is a man who doesn't have to be a man. A man is a woman who is not allowed to be a woman.

Be careful about the man who you let into your body. Ask yourself, will I like to have a baby like him?

Before you make decisions about men, ask another trusted man that doesn't want anything from you. They can separate logic from emotions. A kind man is better than a good man and a good man is better than a bad boy and a bad boy is better than a manipulator.
SixSeven:
Ignoring men in their life and following their hearts. Any man that wants peace must first investigate the men in her life and observe how she treats them and regards them. The way women can smell bad women, men know a woman who's going to waste your life in the name of love. That's why unserious men avoid the father, uncle or men in her life. They know the mumu button of women so they will deceive you, sisters and mother. Man to man, we know ourselves, we know game. Men in her life isn't one spiritual father who did not give birth to you. You can have mentors, including those that are spiritual but make sure you are taking this guy to men dem so that after he open ya pant, you won't be online posting SO WHAT ARE WE Now? That's a question they would have asked him before you fell in lust lost love.

I’m Muslim. And I don’t think the man makes any sense. There is nothing in Islam that prohibits drinking water while in the mosque. I’ve had to enter the mosque with a bottle water, not because I want drink it but because there’s still water in it and I don’t want to leave it inside the car due to heat.
Moreover, Islamic prayers don’t take consume hours and are not physically exhausting.
During Ramadan Muslims eat in the mosque very consistently.
As someone who's traveled and being to different worship spaces, I can categorically tell you that you are wrong. I have been to places where they write these things including spaces for Buddhist. The Ramadan you talk about, some mosques do not allow you eat where they pray, some of them lay a disposable cover on it. Imagine you are praying and start smelling food or water where you pray. Management of spiritual places do these things because of people management and facility management. You don't know what it is on the admin side and the way you justify yourself is the reason why they have these rules.
These places say no phones, no talking, no this or that. Just because some allow does not mean everyone does. Travel to different places and you'll see different ways of doing things. Someone told us some countries ban chewing gum, would you say that's too much just because the rest of the world allows it?

Edit: you have made me watch the video. He says the same thing I've said even without watching it. He talks about decency and pentecostal rascality then asks his members if they've seen any catholic priest drink water in church. He says they are in the presence of God. Do you think he's still wrong or was he condescending in the way he talked because he said if you want to drink, step out. Is that wrong?

It is also free will to choose not to obey such rules in the church.

Here's the thing, if people start obeying such man made rules by walking out of the church auditorium to eat or drink, this same charlatan will order them to not leave because they in the presence of God and claim that it's disrespectful to leave their seats during worship.
Again, I don't know this man and I don't care but I disagree with you about manmade this or that. I don't believe in sheeple. There are those guys who wear aprons while their oga is using bodyguards, if they choose to be like that, all the best to them. What I won't accept is that certain places don't have rules. I don't believe in that.

If the rule in your house is that you must call me before coming, I should respect that. I won't call you a charlatan for that rule neither will I insult those who go there if I prefer surprise visits. There is freewill and because of people like this, there are consequences too. Have you seen someone heckling a comedian or panelist while they are speaking to an audience? It's freewill but there are rules to these places. Indiscipline is when you cannot obey rules or regulate yourself with other people.

in masters and PhD u mentioned, no lecturer will tell you not to drink water in class.
That is not true. Even in master’s and PhD programs, some lecturers or universities restrict food and drinks, including water in classrooms, labs, or lecture halls because of equipment, hygiene, or institutional policy. Even where it is not stated but the school rules say so, the Professor enforces it. For the Professor to enforce it as a rule before teaching is not because he wants to be stubborn. Today, there are some professional exams you will do that they prohibit water, gum or anything foreign for the 3, 4 or 5 hours of the session. Human beings sign up for these things and are not brainwashed. They sign the forms, accept the rules and abide by it. When they are done, they leave. Understandably so, some of them allow breaks for health reasons OUTSIDE. It's 2026, some of these schools still de tell their students to use pencils. Not laptop or smartphones, pencils. No face caps, no this and that. So many rules. If you don't want it, don't come.

For example:

https://classrooms.yale.edu/what-are-rules-use-classrooms
Yale University classroom rules state that "Neither food nor drink is permitted in classrooms without authorization."

https://catalog.upenn.edu/pennbook/classroom-guidelines
University of Pennsylvania classroom guidelines explicitly say faculty should ensure that "food and drink never enter the classroom."

So while many professors don't care if students drink water and it may not be in the school rules, it's inaccurate to say "no lecturer will tell you not to drink water in class." Some absolutely do, especially where university policy already exists. I screenshot Penn's rules here 👇
