A straight question was asked, but you will see how some people will start attacking Obi as if he is the only candidate on ballot where as we have over 20 to 30 Candidatein different political party.... who has a chance they say Obi doesn't, yet 97% talked about Candidate on this first page is about Obi.... many have even forgotten that Amaechi is also a Candidate
You are onto something here. On the first page, I want anyone to search for each candidate's name and tell us what they found grin

Amaechi was just 4x and part of that was the poll question.

He is definitely a decent politician and that's the class most of his contemporaries have lost. He's not doing anything special but that decency and maturity makes him stand out. Dele Momodu was interviewed, he went aggressive on Obi, almost losing it at the end of the interview by asking if Obi is Jesus Christ and if he is sef, it will still be Atiku. Clearly frustrating to watch.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-KyhlbCHO-I
If you have learned anything about politics in Nigeria, it is that you may one day chew your own vomit. FFK, Reno and a few others are good examples. Also watch what you say because it will be your signature. Anytime I think about wailers, I think of that Sun guy Adesina. If I think about fight, Wike is first in my mind. If I think about snatching, I think about grab it, snatch it and run away with it. The words of statesmen are very measured. As bad as e be, Atiku does not insult anyhow, Tinubu too except when he goes campaigning against his opponents etc. But these their spokesmen in an effort to show that they are working go on insult festival without thinking about tomorrow. It's sad to see men in their 50s behave like little children. Quite disgusting. If that young man Buhari used for his media assistant was still there, Anjuri or what's his name, he would have helped Tinubu's administration but taking in the likes of Bwala, Onanuga what do you get? Anything, insult! They don't realize that it is the president they are speaking for. That means if they issue a press release on what Obasanjo said yesterday, they are talking on behalf of the President of The Federal Republic of Nigeria, not Mr Tinubu as they know him. The office is more important than the occupant. They have disrespected it so much it has lost its value.

Onanuga will use our public funds to be insulting OBI when there are better things to talk about your own boss. You turn Presidency into market place. It shows you that wisdom does not grow every time with age. If a young Anjuri could respect the office and make the Presidency more dignified, then it's not about age but values. The difference was clear once the new media aides took office. They don't know when to separate politics from governance.

SixSeven:
He said: “You mean that APC would be worried about ADC, NDC? I saw Atiku, he is now our best campaign manager because he is attacking Obi, and I see Obi attacking Amaechi.”

Did you read that well? Obi is the main threat to them. Unfortunately, Obi won't attack Amaechi. One of the things Obi had said in the last campaign was that he won't respond to unequals in the campaign, which when you look at it is what all the candidates did. He didn't bother responding to Omokri who was an aide, he said I will talk to your boss. He also does not respond to insults. Soludo tried to demarket him and he called him Professor who knows better can help him fix the problems he did not know how to fix. He call am brother grin

Tinubu tried to demarket him by saying he won't even call his name but he didn't respond to him at tall so if you are expecting Obi to be attacking Amaechi, sorry is your boyfriend's name.

Last time, it was Gbaja saying the ADC guy should scatter them. Tinubu said he will send Akpabio to opposition and now Oshiomole wants them to fight. If the opposition should take any notes from APC's playbook, it's that they don't want Nigerians to demand accountability from them. If you all focus and press APC's neck, e go choke. They've been in power for 12 years, they have 31+ governors, opposition should be their least worry but we know why a man who can't perform on bed will blame his wife and her family for being barren. Let her family be fighting among themselves when he's the actual problem, at least it takes attention away from the elephant in the room🤡

Because philosophers are trained to think beyond emotions, beyond immediate gratification, and beyond personal bias. They are trained to contemplate life deeply, to ask hard questions, to search for meaning, and to look at the bigger picture of existence and society.
I was just saying something like this on how ADC responds to Obi and Kwankwaso and how they have responded to the issues. 👇

SixSeven:
I watched Obi speaking to Kayode before I saw Abdullahi's interview. One thing I can tell you for free is that Obi is more measured in talking about ADC and Bolaji, Amaechi etc should learn from this. He never abuses, he was still thanking David Mark for his maturity. He knows he may still need the ADC. ADC on the other hand, from Okonkwo to Momodu keep talking down on Obi. I don't think they have learned anything from how Obi speaks about his former principals. You will never hear him abuse Atiku, even to criticize Tinubu, the interviewer had to ask him if he was afraid of calling Tinubu's name.
Obi for me is not a Saint. Far from it. I am even sad that we don't have many like him so we can be confused who to choose. For instance, despite not liking APC, I would have wanted an Osinbajo rather than an Obi in 2023. It is where these politicians have taken us to that make them behave like gods and looking for slaves in their fatherland.

I think a problem our elites have with Obi is that they didn't make him. You know we have a lot of sycophants in this country so they always want to play a role in your life. So they will later say "God spoke to me to talk to Obi" or "I sponsored his campaign" or "he came to beg for ponmo in my house and I fed him". They don't have that agency of control over Obi or the Obidients that's why he's a problem to them. They want to play a hand in the role so they will feel important too.

I remember how this man was insulted last election. They gave this same advice to him. They told him to wait. They abused his supporters as online poll analysts. He didn't bother responding to them. He responded at the polls. Despite his impressive performance, given the little time he had and no Governor or establishment behind him, they still felt jealous that he could pull that off. If you want to know more about this, check previous election result. No new candidate has ever gathered the kind of votes Obi has. Sowore, Momodu, Shekarau, Durotoye, Ribadu etc. Have you ever asked why they don't give this kind of advice to Tinubu or Atiku? Or why they don't even tell Sowore too?

Amaechi, Obi and Kwankwaso have proven their worth

This campaign is intense. It is very obvious now that Peter Obi is their nemesis. How people can advise a man and try to shave his hair behind him is the 2027 wonder.

I think a problem our elites have with Obi is that they didn't make him. You know we have a lot of sycophants in this country so they always want to play a role in your life. Aside Obi and Kwankwanso, no other politician has been able to prove themselves ALONE outside the establishment.

Repost👇

Obi has the brightest chance going by the last election result followed by Kwankwanso. I choose these two because they left PDP and did not have the structure of the regular party, which Atiku benefitted from using the PDP platform. You also have to look at the time they had to test themselves between the election primaries and election.

If you want to know what that means, Ribadu ran the Presidential election in 2011 under AC and failed with that party structure. Obi and Kwankwanso have been able to test their popularity as candidates outside the regular establishments and done well. Both had no Governors in their party before contesting and pulled a good number in the last election. Buhari used his CPC to bargain with AC to get the Presidential slot in APC. Buhari could say whether he used ANPP or CPC, he could gather votes. I'm not so sure Atiku can do that. He was a presidential candidate of the Action Congress in the 2007 presidential election coming in third to Umaru Yar'Adua of the PDP and Muhammadu Buhari of the ANPP. Atiku came a distant third in that election with less than 10% of the votes.

Obi and Saraki/Kwankwanso

A Saraki will be a difficult campaign for APC that has defaulted to using tribes against themselves. Saraki ticks two boxes of Yoruba/North Central who have been looking for relevance since Gowon.

Here is the stats of the declared winners since 1999. Mr Bola Ahmed tinubu was not a popular president elect

Here is the brief, factual list of Nigeria’s presidential election winners since 1999, including each winner’s name and the percentage of valid votes they received.

1999 – Olusegun Obasanjo: about 62.78% of valid votes.

2003 – Olusegun Obasanjo: about 61.94% of valid votes.

2007 – Umaru Musa Yar’Adua: about 69.60% of valid votes.

2011 – Goodluck Jonathan: about 58.87% of valid votes.

2015 – Muhammadu Buhari: about 53.96% of valid votes.

2019 – Muhammadu Buhari: about 55.60% of valid votes.

2023 – Bola Ahmed tinubu: about 36.6–37% of valid votes.

A United opposition will defeat tinubu before the election begins. With a wiiiiiiiiiiiiiide margin. There is no need to argue about that.

Fact: Tinubu remains the most unpopular president to have won the Presidential elections. He is the easiest to kick out. Back then, PDP told AC, CPC and opposition parties when they were reigning that to kick us out, you need to unite as opposition. That's what they learned in 2015.

“Mr President called me to his study in Abuja and said, ‘I hear this Desmond is your boy.’ I said, ‘Yes, sir.’ He then said Desmond was among those causing problems in the Lagos State House of Assembly,” he stated.

PoliticsRe: Atiku Submits Presidential Form To ADC by SixSeven: 6:12pm On May 14
Atiku, you have a right to contest and no one can stop a man from his dream because it is his dream but if you read the room or if your advisors told you, Nigerians will rather continue with your friend, Tinubu than change the name and face of the candidate to you. If you didn't know that, maybe you should know now.

SixSeven:
Atiku should know that time does not favor him anymore just as time does not favor Jonathan who can actually come back one more time now that we have seen the best APC can offer. But make no mistakes, leave when the ovation is loudest. I can't blame him, seeing Tinubu grab it, snatch it and run away with it really motivated him, that's why he has hope and you can't take a man's hope from him, he only renewed it grin

Buhari also deceived him with the hope that you can try just one more time, when you have given up hope and you will win but he needs to read the room. No one is motivated by Atiku so his campaign will be for those deceiving him. He doesn't realize that Buhari of 8 years and Tinubu of 4 years and his association with both of them has cost him the chance to have his turn. Take away that money he has from him, he will bury that hope.
SixSeven:
You overestimate the North. You are assuming that Buhari's bloc vote will automatically go to Atiku but not Tinubu? Or you forget that the ADC is made up of that bloc, who after 2023 didn't want to work with Tinubu? Let ADC choose Atiku and I will congratulate Tinubu today. You don't ask yourself why APC worries about Obi that was supposedly third than Atiku that was second? They know the game!

I put the map here for your reference. Obi won Lagos, Abuja and Rivers State. Add a share of Kwankwanso votes to his or Atiku's votes and you can tell Tinubu wouldn't have won. When APC won in 2015, the KKK states helped them. When analysing numbers, guage sentiments. Tinubu will not get the same numbers as before because now, he's not a virgin, you are choosing to continue the pain in the renewed hope or choose an alternative. Atiku does not appeal to the youth and going by stats, they are the major voting bloc and will be the only ones to want to come out because whether you like it or not, Tinubu is planning on swimming through voter apathy in 2027. Many of these candidates need to retire, including Obi himself. A child born in 1999 is now 27 and would have gone through his adult life hearing about Tinubu and Atiku. A child born in 1993 when Atiku first contested is now telling his own child that Atiku is the future. How? Let me remind you again

In the lead-up to the 2023 elections, 84% of the 10 million newly registered voters fell into this age category. Those aged 35–49 (Middle-Aged Voters) make up roughly 35.75% of the electorate.

A little secret, people migrate, not just Nigerians, and not because their country is bad or awful.

A lot of Americans migrate to thailand and mexico. Not because both countries are strong, or better, but because the relative strength of the dollar means they can live like kings there.

It is only in Nigeria that we think that japa must be for economic purposes...or that it is because country bad and no anemites.
I get you but honestly, Americans migrating to Thailand and Mexico or even Dubai is for economic reasons depending on the scale. wink
