Okay now I get your point.

Even when I was a single struggling young man, I never liked the idea of sharing bills with my wife, in fact, it never crossed my heart cos I abhor the idea and reason I married when I started doing well financially to some extent cos I couldn't imagine asking my wife to bring money for this or that, or for us to open a joint account where she will pay her own contribution for family upkeep and I also pay mine into, God forbid and I pray I will never be broke to ever consider that till I join my ancestors at old age and in good health like my grandpas grin
You get it! I know it's not easy but women have thought that emancipation is about financial independence and that women were abused back then because men had more money and that's why he could take a second, third or fourth wife. Women always want to wear the same trousers like men until they find out the reality. Again, it's only a well brought up woman that can honor her man and know his importance in her home. These days, a lot of women are doing better than men, but women are finding late in their 40s to 50s that financial independence is good but that's not what it takes to be a man. The way women react to women is not the same as men, that's why I will advise me that don't depend on them as much as possible if you can. It sounds harsh but these were things old men taught us but we didn't understand. Tell women today, they will say it's misogyny but I don't care. The harsh reality for men is that given the same authority and financial means men have, women will treat men in a way that he will prefer to be a gateman to being her husband. Men must learn this right now. Women are hypergamous. Even if she was not doing well as you before you get married, if you slack and don't improve yourself, she will get tired of you.

A woman is a man who doesn't have to be a man. A man is a woman who is not allowed to be a woman.

If you listen to what Obey says here, it's golden advice for men (and maybe women):

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eX6KC7KP0BM

I have seen how women behave in relationships and marriage and when I try to resolve the differences, you will see these small things. Women don't like the hard truth but these things repeat themselves. Men who refuse to learn will learn the hard way. Experience is always the best teacher.

All the best in your manhood cheesy smiley

I didn't really get your message honestly, or maybe you are trying to code your message or something, but I didn't get where you are driving to lol.

My own is, anybody doing well financially, be it women or men, try and let your success touch many struggling people's lives, not just those in your family alone; be it your wife, husband, siblings, friends, neighbors, staffs, side chicks, kinsmen and women, or even strangers. Don't hold your help just because you believe the person you want to help won't appreciate it, dont worry, whether he or she appreciates it or not, the book of life and nature will never forget your genuine good deeds.
Just know women and know peace. I agree with you, be a person of help and value no matter who but between man and woman, women like providers and that's man's natural state. A woman as a provider will remind you of what she does, most men just take it like that. For the men who do 50/50 which is what the West makes of men, they want to take the authority from them because they pay the bills. It's sad but that's the reality. Only a few women who were were properly trained and know the difference between building a home and a career can understand this.

If a man is not doing well, he should make sure he doesn't let the woman become the man of the house for too long. He should try to work on himself. Again, women are not built to be providers. They are receivers. That's how God made them. Give a woman a sperm, make a baby. Giver her a house, she makes a home. The moment you let her do the work of a man, you will change her and she will become bitter. It's man's natural nature to build, it's her natural nature to nututre.

My dear sister (I am guessing u are a lady from your replies so far lol), there is nothing wrong in this. Go to Facebook and see thousands of Nigerian guys married to foreign women genuinely and now living their dream lives as interracial families. I also know a lot of successful marriages between Nigerian guys in Nigeria and Nigerian ladies abroad, dont say never okay?

You guys should stop seeing these things as big deal. Do you know how we Nigerian men doing well financially enjoy splashing money on our women? It gives us joy. One of my friends just sponsored his wife on a trip to tour Europe next month. She is going alone, he said he will stay with the kids that let her go and enjoy life life a single lady. The joy of being financially successful is in spending it, making people genuinely happy, uplifting people including side chics, etc.

Free your mind my dear, there is nothing in this life okay, whenever u can help anybody with what you have, pls do it and don't bother much about if they would appreciate it or not, heaven and the book of life will never forget your good deed
Have you heard women say even if she is earning her own money, she still wants to enjoy his own? Don't women openly say my money is my money, his money is our money? These women want to eat their cake and have it. Which woman no like enjoyment?

Being a provider cannot be an underrated ability and that is what the western style system wants to achieve. Once you share your responsibilities with her, you lose the provider status as a man. It's not like women should not earn and do well but what women back then did was to know that when they leave their offices and get home, that boss lady ends there. In the house, one person is the head, the woman is not, no matter how they want to change things. I even hear them now say we are partners. Women like deceiving themselves. Let him be your partner and we'll see how that goes. He's your husband and head of the family. Know that and know peace.

Tinubu just inadvertently sent a clear signal that Akpabio will not be returning as Senate President. This may reduce the enthusiasm of Akwa-ibomites to deliver Tinubu in Akwa-ibom state. Like we say, with Tinubu, no good deed goes unpunished.
If it was truly a democracy and not a babasopecracy or Jagabansocrazy this has nothing to do with Tinubu but when we remember how Saraki became SP in 2015, in hindsight, this was what they were trying to achieve them. One man doing everything like a god.

SixSeven:
I had no hope in APC fake progressiveness but I won't forgive them for the joke they made out of the Senate in Lawan and Akpabio. Those 2 SPs took the Senate down a road you don't want to visit anymore but we all know why they chose them. Compared to Saraki, they wanted yes men and they got yes men. Buhari got away with whatever he wanted and maybe they had a deal with Lawan that's why in the midst of his disastrous Presidency, he still had the effrontery to back Lawan for President. Now Akpabio is spokesman to the President and yes man. No resistance. No checks. No balance. APC. Change Shame.

So does your Obi not have aspirations to take that responsibility.
You guys don't want Obi to be called out but you want to call out other candidates as you like.
This is a problem many Nigerians have. Whether Obi wins or not, whether Tinubu wins or not, whether I vote for the winning candidate or not, the occupier of the seat owes everyone of us an answer so this is not about your Obi or your Tinubu or your Atiku. That seat is a public service role, that's why you are elected. You can't be there and say those 5% or those who didn't vote for me, I won't serve them. You can't. You belong to EVERYBODY. Trump cannot and should not say because he doesn't like Democrats and they voted against him, all the blue states must suffer. The earlier you all know this, the better. Unfortunately, people think that it's only if their own candidate wins they can ask questions, then they leave their faith to God for 4 years if their candidate doesn't win. Go through my posts to get your answer of responsibility. If Obi gets there today, he has taken the job. He must answer questions. Tinubu did not attend debate, Buhari did not and see where we are today. That's because the supporters refused to grill them. None of them is doing you a favor, they are your servants. God bless Yar'Adua for reminding Nigerians about servant leadership.

Have y'all noticed that there has been a constant attack on Peter Obi? Not Atiku, not Kwankwaso, not Amaechi but only Obi?

It's just a way to distract and confuse APC. Obi will emerge but to protect him, they will play games and make it look like he won't contest. 4 years ago, Obi learned not to reveal all his cards until final moment.

It's also another way to spend Jonathan's money if he is smart enough to fall for this trap.

SixSeven:
This campaign is intense. It is very obvious now that Peter Obi is their nemesis. How people can advise a man and try to shave his hair behind him is the 2027 wonder.

I think a problem our elites have with Obi is that they didn't make him. You know we have a lot of sycophants in this country so they always want to play a role in your life. So they will later say "God spoke to me to talk to Obi" or "I sponsored his campaign" or "he came to beg for ponmo in my house and I fed him". They don't have that agency of control over Obi or the Obidients that's why he's a problem to them. They want to play a hand in the role so they will feel important too.

I remember how this man was insulted last election. They gave this same advice to him. They told him to wait. They abused his supporters as online poll analysts. He didn't bother responding to them. He responded at the polls. Despite his impressive performance, given the little time he had and no Governor or establishment behind him, they still felt jealous that he could pull that off. If you want to know more about this, check previous election result. No new candidate has ever gathered the kind of votes Obi has. Sowore, Momodu, Shekarau, Durotoye, Ribadu etc. Have you ever asked why they don't give this kind of advice to Tinubu or Atiku? Or why they don't even tell Sowore too?

Be patient who those who give advice but be wise with what advice you take and use.
👆 Look at the first statement they made, "we are not saying Obi is not a good candidate"... That tells you all you need to know. Any candidate who knows what they stand for does not need to compare to anyone else. Focus on your goal. Obidients, be careful because Nigeria has a lot of sycophants and many of them have a price. They know your support is organic that's why they keep trying to understand you guys.

The same reason they sent him packing is the reason they will now vote for him? grin

With how Buhari and Tinubu have done as they like, the North won't trust anyone because they now see that all APC did then was pretending to be sanctimonious and progressives. We can now see they don't have all the things they preached. They like high handed power. When last did Tinubu talk to the nation? His FCT minister holds press conference almost every month, tinubu will rather let his aides speak for him. Because of APC criticism, it made Jonathan reduce his presidential media chats.

Wickedtruths:
What was the title of her PhD project?
Patience Jonathan, former first lady, has bagged a doctor of philosophy degree (PhD) at the Ignatius Ajuru University of Education in Port Harcourt, Rivers state.

A statement by Chris Okeke, media adviser to the former first lady, said she was among the graduating students at the 43rd convocation ceremony of the university, which took place on Saturday.

Speaking during a testimony session at Streams of Joy International Church, the former first lady, who recently earned a PhD in Psychology, Guidance and Counselling, recounted moments of profound frustration and self-doubt that punctuated her pursuit of higher education.

She cited demanding academic requirements, including repeated assignments and high expectations from her instructors, as factors that almost led her to quit.

“At times, my lecturer would get me angry and say, ‘Go and repeat this page,'” Mrs. Jonathan explained, humorously adding her internal monologue: “‘Shey this man don’t know that I’m old. Very soon, I will leave this place and rest because what will I do with it? It’s just to keep the brain moving.'”

Despite these challenges, she expressed gratitude, stating, “But to God be the glory. That thing that seemed impossible, God made it possible, and I graduated.”

Mrs. Jonathan admitted she initially doubted her ability to complete the program, especially after serving as the nation’s First Lady.

“When I went to pick up my PhD form, I thought I would not make it,” she confessed. However, she found divine encouragement: “But God told me to go there. He said, ‘If your children can make it, why can’t you?’”

Throughout her studies, Mrs. Jonathan embraced her role as the oldest student in the classroom, demonstrating a remarkable humility and eagerness to learn.

“I would go to class and sit on the bench with my children. I was the ‘Mama’ among them, and I wasn’t ashamed,” she recounted.

She was unafraid to ask questions, even if it meant seeking clarification multiple times.

“The teacher would be teaching, I would raise my hand and ask questions because the younger ones would understand immediately, but, as a ‘Mama’, I had to ask questions three times before I understood one thing,” she concluded.

Reading this, it is impressive that she has done this with her life. Right now we have presidents and aspirants whose qualifications and education are in doubt. Nothing stops anyone from learning. Never too late.

Most countries have a strategic power mix to meet varying conditions and situations, no less power security and in this regime of free market if we have all our power feedstock priced at international oil and gas rates, one lunatic is the west or east can start a war and ruin us economically.
Those countries consider power as ENERGY SECURITY. It is part of security but here we are still struggling to secure lives, so they don't even care about property.

When Trump posted that he would bomb Iran to ancient civilization by targeting their bridges and energy infrastructure, the only thing that came to my mind was energy infrastructure. I've given up on bridges because in Nigeria, mediocrity is celebrated. 4th Mainland bridge is still on their mega plan while the Lagos-Calabar highway is completed since Obidients, Wailers and enemies of the State are already selling gala on its highway, hide your face!!!🙈

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zLGojjLbXKU?

It makes me ask the question, are we living in any civilization if we can't have lighthuh

A country at war cares so much to restore power to its people, they even provided updates on the power situation in their country, they didn't use the war as an excuse but in my own country, these wicked people use all manner of man-made excuses to put us in darkness, pain and suffering. Every Nigerian becomes an analyst, analyzing waterfalls from Kainji Dam to river sediments of Bakassi peninsular. May woe betide una 👐 It's not a curse. It is what you need because what you have shown us is that you are ungrateful. We are ungrateful people in this country and we should stop insulting God. Nigerians are the most ungrateful people on earth because God blessed us with abundance of resources and wealth but we insult the creator by giving weak excuses and ensuring that people suffer while we take care of our own immediate family and friends. We don't like ourselves, we just pretend we do.

In other countries, they make sure people are okay first. Here, we want to steal everything for ourselves and family, most people don't care about the state. They send their kids abroad, no excuses. They holiday abroad. They show off abroad. What kind of people are these? I can't just speak for God because if I were the one who created this kind of people, I would be so irritated because I see how you take pride in making your own people suffer but stash the money abroad. The president is in power, the supporters are more interested in peppering Obidients. If the president does well, isn't it to everyone's enjoyment and benefit? What sort of tomfoolery makes you bothered about opposition when you have the opportunity to use the goddamn power to fix things? I see in the war threads how people support either side but they don't reason. That country is a terrorist country as they claim here on NL but they have light. They have freaking light. No excuses. They are under sanctions. Here, they give all manner of excuses, sabotage the country, cache out our money, only for it to be used by their oppressors. Clowns 🤡

Nigerian incompetence thrives on world chaos so they can have something to justify their dirty bottoms. It's such a shame and a disgrace that Libya and Iran can have light but in Nigeria, we are ready to blame the world economy. Hisses

Meta said you should talk to your neighbours as if they can hear you. That's how you know artificial intelligence from real. Have we tried talking to our governments? How Nigerians became comfortable with this thing is insane, some people use industrial generators that work with diesel. Now everyone is going solar too because of government negligence. Tinubu himself changed the power supply at the Villa to solar.

https://www.tiktok.com/video/7532602447609564421

Generator noise is not the loudest of your problems, it is the fumes that are the silent killers and probably one of the reasons for the increase in cancer cases in Nigeria without us knowing. Polynuclear Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs) are a major component of fuel generator fumes. Carcinogenicity of these compounds has long been established. Those pollutants are not safe for your air and direct contact with your skin, water and environment. Imagine sitting behind the exhaust of a vehicle. That's what we are doing to ourselves.
If you cannot sleep well because of the noise, your health is affected. If you cannot hear well, because of the noise, your hearing is affected.
If you cannot breathe well because of the smoke, your health is affected. If you have the money, switch to solar but what sense does that make if you still live in an environment where your neighbours still use generators? You see why Nigerians need to solve this problem as a collective instead of doing I beta pass my neighbour competition.

Tunji Alausa himself is a medical doctor. He earns the right to be called Dr. Alausa but in this report they write Minister of Education Tunji Alausa. It is the Nigerian mentality of whoamimisim, do you know who I am?
PoliticsRe: List Of Nigerian Governors That Are Eyeing The Senate by SixSeven: 2:46pm On May 06
Governors going to Senate is a reflection of our society. What do I mean? If Nigerians have allowed moneybags get away with it, they should not blame anyone else but themselves. Right now former governors and current governors are fighting for Senate seat eg Dapo Abiodun vs Gbenga Daniel In Ogun. Before it used to be Minister vs Governor or Senator vs Governor. The electorate need to wise up. Stop recycling old sheets.
A Governor of a whole state reducing himself to a senatorial zone shows you he has nothing to offer. Some of them are now going from Senate to Governor and back to Senate eg Ben Ayade and almost at a point in time, Tinubu. Aregbesola told us they advised him against working for the government as Minister or any other position. These people see our national cake as full time job, stop giving them the opportunity to loot.

You see the nonsense we do here and think it's normal. Please do not try it outside Nigeria. One day I tried to do something like this for someone, the man look my eye, look me up and and down, come tell me THAT IS FORGERY. I was so embarrassed. I think say na Naija style to sign on behalf of my brother. Dem go call police for you.

Forgery is the crime of falsely making, altering, or imitating documents, signatures, or objects with the intent to defraud or deceive. It involves creating a "false document" or altering a genuine one to mislead someone into believing it is authentic. It is a white-collar crime often aimed at financial gain, such as forgery of checks, contracts, or art.
Before anyone quotes me for politics, don't sign for anybody but yourself though this weak post OP pushed doesn't tell us anything. It just shows us someone and tells us he is signing but hope Tinubu himself doesn't do teamship and allow people sign on his behalf.
