In order for the ECM to make that kind of statement he would need to be sure 'beyond reasonable doubt' that the statement is not genuine. If the bank say its forged then it's forged. The onus is now on you to prove otherwise I'm afraid. Contact the bank and get them to check your account number again. I thought you were going to visit a family member if so you should still have the full right of appeal. You should get all the correct info from the bank and then apply for an admin review to which you are entitled to do.
keep us informed.

what are asking for? Someone to pay for your ticket or the price of a ticket? For the route, where are you flying from? You can go via Amsterdam, Frankfurt or UK. Foe UK you will need a transit visa. For the others a schengen.

yes sounds like you'vde won your appeal otherwise you would have got a letter saying that you havre lost and they wouldnt take your passports for that! Congrats!

As the other's have said, it would appear that the office forgot to put your visas in your passport. If it was refused they would have put a line through the box marked LAGOS with your application number. This should be easily resolved by contacting the ECM. Let us know how you get on.

and for your information you reside in Poland, so i dont think you know much about Nigeria.

Ceah. Do you not see how silly that sounds? Because I am living in Poland doesnt mean I am Polish. People have jobs that take them anywhere in the globe. Have you heard of ex pats?!!!For a man who wants a non Nigerian child to adopt I would have thought you would have a bit more 'depth'. In all honesty, if you do go ahead with this, I doubt you would even pass the interview stage as it is evident that you are not doing this for the right reasons. Thank God for screening. Unless you are very rich then I suppose you can buy what ever you want.

oyewolejos:

Lieing about your qualification is a sign of low self esteem. Africans always believe in qualifications and certificates but will your qualification makes u a good husband? Hell no.
Tell her the real u and if she's not comfortable with that then let her move. Just try to be yourself and not something else.
I wonder why u look down at yourself just because u have OND.
What the fucck is even BSC if not for 9ja mentality?
Believe in yourself and not your qualification

Amen to that! wink
You can get your degree later if you feel it is that important but do it for yourself not to impress a woman. Is she so shallow?

If you dont love her let her go. Why prolong the inevitable? If you pretend to love her and then move to the next level you will be unhappy, the relationship will be diificult to maintain and she will be even more hurt than if you were to end it now. However, be gentle. It won't be easy though.
Family / Re: Overbearing Mum by sjam(f): 8:54pm On Jul 30, 2010
Her mother is reacting like that because the girl has gone behind her back! I would expect my daughter to talk to me about stuff like this but then I don't know what kind of relationship the girl has with her mother. Her mama doesn't want to be raising babies for her teenage daughter now and because she's only getting 2nd hand information she would only think the worst.

What does your girlfriend say about it? Personally, I think you are going for the shock factor. There are too many children in Nigeria who desperately need a loving home. If you believe you have what it takes to be a good parent and can offer a child a home why the need to leave your own shores? Is it so that you can be different? Think about the child and the problems they may face being in a country where they may not blend before trying to gain attention to boost your ego! You sound kind of immature!
Family / Re: Please, Your Advise by sjam(f): 7:23pm On Jul 30, 2010
I wouldn't advise you to leave or stay with your husband. You will make that choice by yourself when the time is right. You have given him more than his one chance to behave and he has abused you. Take care of your self, keep looking after your children to the best of your ability and trust in God. You will soon be directed onto the path that is right for you. He wont change but you will! Stay strong!
Family / Re: Is There Anything Wrong With Bein A House Husband by sjam(f): 6:54pm On Jul 30, 2010
There is nothing wong with a man staying at home to look after his kids and take care of the house (house husband). Taking care of the house is a job in its self. However, in Nigeria, Jamaica etc, it's not the norm and the man would be accused of being a bum! It doesn't bother me sef!

Family / Re: Which One Is Better: Divorce Or Marriage Without Happiness? by sjam(f): 6:45pm On Jul 30, 2010
Divorce, but only as a last resort. You have to give marriage your best shot and not give up too easily. But if you've tried and it aint working - end it and live life. Who wants to be unhappy for years on end?

Family / Re: Pls Help A Faithful Wife In great Pains: by sjam(f): 6:17pm On Jul 30, 2010
This is a sad situation and my heart goes out to you. You can not keep quiet about this with him. You will have to confront him and take it from there. Knowing is bad, painful, confusing etc, but not knowing will make you ill. Please do not blame yourself for his behaviour. You sound like a devoted and faithful wife. Please pray for strength to deal with this. I hope you can work things out and I wish you all the best.
Crime / Re: Man Beheads His 13 Year Old Niece by sjam(f): 6:02pm On Jul 30, 2010
ooohh! This man is not well. He looks crazy and his actions are obviously that of a crazy,sick/evil/possessed man. The poor girl - I don't even want to think what her last moments of life must have been like. May she rest in perfect peace. cry
Whoever took that picture with the mad man posing with his 'trophy' should be flogged , in public, naked like the mad man!

Crime / Re: Why Are So Many Nigerians Fraudulent? by sjam(f): 8:23pm On Mar 07, 2006
I come from the UK and am now working in Nigeria. When my friends and family were told that i would be coming to Nigera they all said that i should watch out for 419 because this country is so corrupt. Even when i speak to them on the phone they are scared to discuss certain things incase some fraudster is listening on the line to try and get some personal information. what upsets me is the so called Christians who lie in your face and feel that they are not doing anything wrong or those who dont feel bad about taking someone elses hard earned money. I cant wait to leave this place. Its got so much potential but there iss not a hope cry angry what a shame
