The Trinity in the Qur'an
The possible Qur'anic references to the
doctrine of "Trinity" are verses

Interpretation of these verses is varied

and the most straightforward appears to
be 5:73. It has been interpreted as a
potential criticism of Syriac literature that
references Jesus as "the third of three" and
thus an attack on the view that Christ was
divine.

Hence, verses 5:72-75 may merely
be criticizing the idea that Jesus and God
are the same.

Alternatively, it may be a
purposeful simplification of the Christian
belief in the humanity and divinity of Christ
in order to expose its potential weakness
when viewed from the firmly monotheistic
position of Islam.
Similarly, verse 4:171 can be read as a
rejection of the divinity of Jesus. It is worth
noting that in explaining these verses, early
Muslim Qur'anic commentators noted that
"the Christian 'three' was an internal
characteristic of the godhead... rather than
a series of external beings placed together
with God."

Regarding the verse 5:116, some scholars
have written that the version of the
"Trinity" concept that the Qur'an is
criticizing appears to be God, Jesus, and
Mary ; and that this is not a description of
orthodox Christian belief, wherein the third
part of the Trinity is the Holy Spirit. Edward
Hulmes writes:
“
"The Qur'anic interpretation of
trinitarian orthodoxy as belief in the
Father, the Son, and the Virgin Mary,
may owe less to a misunderstanding of
the New Testament itself than to a
recognition of the role accorded by local
Christians (see Choloridians ) to Mary as
mother in a special sense."

verse is about the Trinity. For example,
Thomas states that verse 5:116 need not
be seen as discussing the Christian Trinity,
but rather, giving examples of shirk
(claiming divinity for beings other than
God) and a "warning against excessive
devotion to Jesus and extravagant
veneration of Mary, a reminder linked to the
central theme of the Qur'an that there is
only 1 God and He alone is to be
worship

Once, the people of the city invited Mulla
Nasruddin to deliver a speech. When he got
on the minbar (pulpit), he found the
audience was not very enthusiastic, so he
asked "Do you know what I am going to
say?" The audience replied "NO", so he
announced "I have no desire to speak to
people who don't even know what I will be
talking about" and he left. The people felt
embarrassed and called him back again the
next day. This time when he asked the
same question, the people replied "YES" So
Mullah Nasruddin said, "Well, since you
already know what I am going to say, I
won't waste any more of your time" and he
left. Now the people were really perplexed.
They decided to try one more time and
once again invited the Mullah to speak the
following week. Once again he asked the
same question - "Do you know what I am
going to say?" Now the people were
prepared and so half of them answered
"YES" while the other half replied "NO". So
Mullah Nasruddin said "The half who know
what I am going to say, tell it to the other
half" and he left!

A man is taking a walk in Central park in
New York. Suddenly he sees a little girl
being attacked by a pit bull dog . He runs
over and starts fighting with the dog. He
succeeds in killing the dog and saving the
girl's life. A policeman who was watching
the scene walks over and says: "You are a
hero, tomorrow you can read it in all the
newspapers: "Brave New Yorker saves the
life of little girl" The man says: - "But I am
not a New Yorker!" "Oh ,then it will say in
newspapers in the morning: 'Brave
American saves life of little girl'" – the
policeman answers. "But I am not an
American!" – says the man. "Oh, what are
you then? " The man says: - "I am a Saudi !"
The next day the newspapers says: "Islamic
extremist kills innocent American dog.

Dr. Maurice Bucaille is an eminent
French surgeon, scientist, scholar
and author of "The Bible, The Quran and
Science" which contains the result of his
research into the Judeo-Christian Revelation
and the Quran. It is a unique contribution
in the field of religion and science.
Being an outstanding Scientist, he was
selected to treat the mummy of Merneptah
(Pharaoh), which he did. During his visit to
Saudi Arabia he was shown the verses of
the Holy Quran in which Allah says that the
dead body of the Pharaoh will be preserved as a "Sign" for posterity.
"So this day We shall deliver your (dead)
body (out from the sea) that you may be a
sign to those who come after you! And
verily, many among mankind are heedless
of Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses,
lessons, signs , revelations, etc.)." (The Quran, 10:92)
An impartial scientist like Dr. Bucaille, who
(being also a Christian) was conversant
with the Biblical version of Pharaoh's story
as being drowned in pursuit of Prophet
Moses. He was pleasantly surprised to learn
that unknown to the world till only of late 20th century, the Holy Quran made definite
prediction about the preservation of the
body of that same Pharaoh of Moses' time.
This led Dr. Bucaille to study the Holy Quran
thoroughly after learning the Arabic
language and accepted Islam as the truth.
The body of Pharaoh is now lying in a Cairo
museum as an open miracle of the Holy
Quran, for those who pay heed to the signs
of Allah.

On his second coming of Jesus he not act as a new prophect because muhammed(SAW) is the last prophect. he will declare that he is his servant.this will give those who have not believed in him amongst the Jews the opportunity to do so because he was sent to them alone.His coming will also bring to past the killing of Dajjal.Traditionof the prophect(SAW)have it that,he will suddenly descend near the white tower to the east of damascus,dressed in two red clothes placing his hands on the wings of two Angels; he will arrive at the time of morning SALAT and will join the muslims in prayer behind imam mahdi.Afterwards,he will fetch for Dajjal and kill him.Also,he will be the one to pray to Allah(SWT)along with the other believers against the menace of the Gog and Magog, and this Allah(SWT)will grant as a mercy for his rightous servants. He will also crush the cross, kill the swine and abolish Jizyah(the imposea tax on the non-muslim resident of an islamic state in lieu of state protection they enjoy).by preaching Allah(SWT) will let it spread to every nook and cranny of the whole world.He will use the SHARI'AH of Muhammed(SAW)to establish and restore justice to people.This is a period when people will not harbour rancour against one another.This is a period of abundant riches and provisions. The righteous servant of Allah(SWT)will be contented with a single prostrationrather than the avalanche of riches.Having completed his assignment,he will live for som time and DIE The muslim will observe the burial rites on him.
