OP, you did a very stupid thing, accept it and move on. The day you placed that bet was the very day you lost her. What were you thinking would come out it? She was your girlfriend not your wife. Even if she had not fallen for your friend, the relationship would most likely still have ended. No sensible girl will stay with a guy who would place a bet on her to test her loyalty because as far as she's concerned, her guy doesn't trust her. If she fails the test, which she did, the relationship will still witness an untimely demise.
