Jon receives a raven from Dany, she’s summoning the lords of Westeros. Jon and Davos decide to go because they need the dragonglass from Dragonstone. Jon leaves Sansa in charge of Winterfell. Jon leaves Ghost at Winterfell, where he stays all season.

Episode 3

Jon and Davos arrive at Dragonstone. Tyrion meets them on the beach, and the Dothraki take their ship. (Jon, Davos, Tyrion, Missandei have all been filming together in Bilbao- widely believed to be the set of Dragonstone.) Tyrion brings them to meet Dany, encountering Missandei and Grey Worm on the way. The “throne room” contains a number of Dothraki. (ALL have been spotted filming in Bilbao – widely believed to be the set of Dragonstone.) Dany and Jon meet. Dany demands he bend the knee, which he refuses. Evidently, he discusses the WWs, but she doesn’t believe him. Tyrion insists that Jon isn’t crazy. Davos tries to mention Jon’s resurrection, but Jon dismisses it. Dany respects Jon immediately, Jon to Dany maybe not as much? Bran arrives at Winterfell. Meera returns home. (Bran has been spotted on set with other “Team Starks”)

Authorities received a complaint and police have “arrested four individuals for unauthorised publication of the fourth episode from season seven”.

All four unidentified suspects are or were at one point workers of a Mumbai-based company responsible for storing and processing the TV show’s episodes. Prime Focus Technology, a content company hired by the country’s Star India channel – where the show is broadcast – accepted the fault had come from inside their offices, and filed the complaint to the police.

Liverpool have rejected Philippe Coutinho’s transfer request after he told them of his desire to move to Barcelona, Sky sources understand.

The player’s transfer request came hours after the club’s owners Fenway Sports Group released a statement saying “no offers will be considered” for Coutinho this summer, with Jurgen Klopp backing the owners’ sentiments.

Liverpool have so far rejected two bids from Barcelona for the Brazil international, with the latest offer worth up to £90.4m.

According to Grant Gustin, season 4 of The Flash will see a wiser Barry who is able to have fun again. As we approach the new season, just as much news has been dedicated to the course correction of the series as the new characters that will be seen on the show. Yesterday, word broke that Hazard will be causing trouble for Team Flash.

Along with the Thinker, Peak-A-Boo, and a mysterious evil samurai glimpsed in the Comic-Con trailer, Flash and his friends will have plenty of trouble on their hands. All that chaos won’t bring out the darkness on the show, however.

Plenty has been said from the minds behind the show that last season was far too bleak and that this fall the show will return to its more joyful roots. Part of that change will be thanks to the mini reset of Barry being stuck in the Speed Force. When he emerges he’ll be dealing with certain consequences of his time there, but there will be positive effects as well.

The organisers of the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) have announced a list of nominees for regional categories ahead of its 9 – 12 November ceremony. The announcement was made at a press conference at the Renaissance Lagos Ikeja Hotel on 8 August

Speaking at the conference, the president of the organising committee, Mike Dada, said AFRIMA was more than an awarding body. “It is also a tool for communication, a tool to change the narrative of our continent,” he said.

Other members of the AFRIMA committee at the event included the director of Cameroon Radio Television, Bob Ekukole, Hadja Kobele, South Africa’s Chris Syren, African Union representative Angela Martins, Nigerian media personality Olisa Adibua and David Tayorault, who worked with Magic System on the hit song ‘1er Gaou’.

The list released so far sees some of continent’s biggest names in pop music go head to head. Two of Africa’s most popular music stars, Davido and Wizkid, are up for the Best Male category in West Africa. South African rappers AKA and Nasty C are up for the same category in the southern Africa region, as is the great Hugh Masekela. In East Africa, Kenya’s Octopizzo and Tanzanian multiple AFRIMA winner Diamond Platnumz are both nominated. Female acts Tiwa Savage, Yemi Alade and Babes Wodumo are also nominated for their respective regions.

The full list of nominees for the 2017 All Africa Music Awards will be released over the next few days. The nominees in regional categories are below.

Following the tragic events of the finale, self-relflection will likely be the name of the game moving forward. We’ve been told the fallout from the finale will have consequences other than just death and destruction, and part of that will likely come in the form of Oliver reexamining himself and his relationships. One such relationship will the one between him and his son William. Introduced in what seemed to be a plot geared towards exploring Moira Queen, Oliver’s progeny popped up again on the first crossover with The Flash before playing a significant role in the second Arrowverse crossover. With last season, William got put right in the crosshairs of Prometheus, something that will likely unify the two.

First Premier League games for Brighton and Huddersfield provide contrasting opponents and Newcastle feature in the pick of the early games

Champions Chelsea will start the 2017-18 Premier League season at home to Burnley, while Manchester United will welcome West Ham United to Old Trafford on the opening weekend.
Brighton & Hove Albion’s first game back in the top flight will be at home to Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, while Championship winners Newcastle United host Tottenham.

Huddersfield Town are also in the Premier League for the first time and will head to Crystal Palace on the opening weekend, which is August 12 and 13.

The National Union of Road Transport Workers, Lagos Chapter, on Tuesday advised its members not to panic over the proposed ban on operations of yellow commercial buses.

The state Chairman of the union, Mr. Tajudeen Agbede, on Tuesday said that the union was discussing the proposed ban with the government, adding that the union was ready to cooperate with the state government on its mega city project.

Lagos State Governor Akinwunmi Ambode had on February 6 announced a plan to stop operations of yellow commercial buses popularly known as ‘danfo’ for a more efficient, well-structured and world-class mass transport system.

Ambode said that the well-structured transport system would ease movement within the state and make Lagos cleaner without burdening the people in terms of taxes.
