Oga Skimanski,

Please what is the use of the stainless/Metal strip between the tiles in the master bedroom?
Thanks.
For aesthetic purpose in General. It gives the tiles this Sophisticated feel as against not using it. Also it help as a point of transformation from one tile design to the other.

The finishing finisher grin
Great work chief, this is more of a reinvention than a renovation . Your client's great taste is reflected in his budget, and your skills are doing justice to that.
Your design is very contemporary, You might find these LED and non LED fixtures of interest,
These outdoor lamps are contemporary italian fixtures, very high quality, not the regular die-cast kinds, they're alot more beautiful in person.
The indoor lamps are equally of quality finishes
AllCopacetic. I like your fixtures. I think you office is worth visiting oo!!

@Skimanski....cladding doesn't means it will look like an office. Offices in Nigeria embrace it more so most people think, it's only offices that use it. I am anti recurrent expenses. I actually intend using it for a contemporary house not a modern house. I also believe you are one of the few people who can pull it off and still make it look like a house, so your insight on the subject is very important to me.
I am happy you mentioned wood, I actually heard that well seasoned wood is hard to see in Nigeria, anyway you know better. Won't like to use wood and then it gets spoilt with the seasons. If I am wrong, I will like to be pointed in the right direction.

Babalose
I didn't say it does. I just said it depends on how you see it. If you see it as a desire to have the. It's ok. Me i like it, but not on the whole wall. But on some part of it.

@Skimanski.....cladding on brick.

Babalose
In terms of Price: Cladding is more expensive in the Short term than Normal Finished and Painted Walls. but in the Long run, it becomes more cost saving, because you do not have to paint on it, Just Clean. You do not have the Fear of rust on it.

In Terms of Aesthetics: I always say it Depends on the view of the Client. If you feel your house Looking like an office is what Pleases you then it pleases you. But if you feel your house looking Like Normal Houses works better then it does. Just that when it comes to Cladding, Those Architectural Details on certain part of the Structure, might not work, because of the cumbersome feel of Installation.

But from my own personal point of view, I can do Cladding only on Contemporary Style Houses, and not on all part of the wall but some Certain parts of the House Design, and Use wood for some parts, while i paint other parts.

@Skimanski.....what's your take on full house cladding? If anyone can do it and get it right, its you because you are a perfectionist. Your opinion is well reverend in my book.

Babalose
Cladding on brick work for finish or just steel frames with cladding without brick works?

The true word from my good friend. Gracias!

This is evident as lack of foresight. Now if this is happening to the high and the mighty, the men of timber and caliber, the pros and the industry giants - I believe we have a real long way to go in Nigeria because these are the men who rule in the affairs of this country.
We are blessed with lots of sissy men without great foresight.

How do you explain billion dollar investment been washed away just because of lack of good planning?

Good morning!!

My Chairman! Flood is Everywhere. Inside lagos, Outside Lagos, Inside Nigeria, Outside Nigeria, even France experience something heavier than these of recent. Times are Changing Globally, We humans have misused the world for too long, and its just time we pay our dues.

Though Right from time, Osapa, Lekki Scheme 1, VGC and that Ilaje Road don commit crime. Houses must go for their problem to solve.
