Just Trying to Play around the Walls with some Little Creativity

Hmmm!!! These pictures are just too scary. These land looks like an erosion settlement. I'm not sure the soil is good enough to hold your house, regardless of the water that flows in from drains. You better go an do a soil test before trouble shooting blindly. Because if the land is as bad as it looks to me, in simple English, your house will keep on trying to find a steady soil surface underneath the ground to stand on, that will cause it sinking further until it finds it.

Once you do a soil test, and find where the steady soil is, then a professional can give u a proper solution. I highly doubt that your major problem is that water coming into your land. Just go and do a soil test first.

Good work Oga Skimanski, how did you manage the indigenous people? Am sure you engage most of them on this project either skilled or unskilled. .

First thing First, God is in control.

Secondly, each of the Departments are staffs of Dezyns and structures. They handle their departments and decide if they'll be using the Indigenous people or not. my Job is to relay to my Site engineer, who inturn passes it to the Artisans (e.g Carpenters and Masons), whats important from then on is the outcome. The Artisans can decide to bring in People from Lagos and source some more from the Locals or they can decide you use only Lagosians.

I tried to look for the meaning of screeding and plastering. Pretty much same. Please enlighten me, what is this form of screeding u have displayed called?? And what is the purpose after plastering the house.I am working on my house now n keep getting this screeding offer thrown in. But not convinced of its significance.

This is POP Wall Screeding. Different from Plastering with Cement and Plaster Sand. It makes the Wall surface Smoother than when its just plastered Wall. Its called Quality. A painted wall that was screeded has a more quality look than a Painted wall without Screeding.
