The communities closest to the plant are currently enjoying the most privilege so far, also the govt house, the house of assembly, national stadium ogbemudia, ED secretariat , ED business hub, most govt buildings are making use of the light already.
100% of the street lights on major Edo roads are powered by the gas plant.

1. Buhari's alleged Fulanization agenda seemed to them a thing to be cancelled out by voting against APC
2. Bini people felt an Afemai person should not control Edo State politics. When their own Gabriel Igbinedion was playing the same godfatherism over Edo politics, didn't they obey him and voted his son, Lucky, for second term after a disastrous first term which his own father acknowledged in full public glare but quickly added that there was no vacancy in Osadebe House as he had paid for it for his son?

You look at increase in price and you judge a government by it.

You should check the history of inflation in Nigeria, and you will see that aside the fact that money loses value everywhere in the world, we have always recorded huge inflation rate in Nigeria.

PDP met rice at 39 naira per bag and left it at 10,000 naira.

Inflation is not the best way to compare governments.

Remember that between 1999-2009, PDP did not have as many challenges as APC has battled since 2015.

And yet PDP could not do the 3 important things that could have made us the country we were in the 60s.

1. They couldn't fix our electricity.

2. They couldn't diversify away from oil

3. They couldn't fight corruption.

PDP destroyed Nigeria.

About your last sentence, they are not solar lamps. They are powered by the edo state gas power plant. It's the first of its kind in Nigeria. A state independent generating plant capable of powering the whole of Edo houses but for now the plant serves the street lights around edo state from (6 to 6) and some selected communities already enjoy 24hrs electricity.
