PoliticsRe: Nigeria: The Illusion Of A North Dominated Rule - Controversial To The Core by skydeexie(m): 6:57pm On May 14, 2012
Nice try, but you are looking at the realities that is confronting Nigeria today. An illusion? NO, it was the grim reality then. Then there was nothing like Middle-Belt only ONE monolithic North. People from the Middle-Belt never saw themselves as coming from no other region than the North. Nigeria was known then by regions and it was only natural for one to identify with the region one hailed from. We only knew of Northern, Eastern, Western or Mid-Western Nigeria, that is before the creation of states. I am being generous here, the colonial masters created only 3 regions as at 1954, there was no Mid-western region. Don't blame the Middle-Belt, they woke up almost too late having realized that with the exigencies and happenings in today's Nigeria,(especially religious, ethnic and political killings of Christians and even muslims who are not of the core north extraction)the north is longer the north. Hence the New Middle-Belt identity. You will be surprised to know that some states being mentioned as belonging to the Middle-Belt would choose to have nothing to do with it. My only question is where did the wanton slaughter and killings of the Igbo race first started? In the Middle-Belt? No! But your guess is as good as mine.

PoliticsRe: FG To Track Down Boko Haram With Satellites by skydeexie(m): 10:41am On May 14, 2012
Each time the government comes out announcing to the world her plans to stamp out Boko Haram, it's like shooting herself in the foot. Before the final demise of Osama bin Laden, did you ever here America announce to her enemies (even allies) what she was about to do? Why must you always reveal your strategies to the very "enemy" you're trying to defeat. It's a self defeatist policy. That's why the "enemy" will always be a step ahead of anything you're planning. Implement your strategy first, get results then announce your victory. Scoring cheap political points should come last. Follow the American example in the tracking down of Osama bin Laden or the recent hair splitting undercover work executed in Yemen by a CIA double agent that led to the recovery of a more refined underwear bomb virtually undetectable thru airport scanners.

Christianity EtcRe: Who Is A Sinner? In Your Own Words by skydeexie(m): 4:44pm On Feb 21, 2012
Anyone born from Adam and Eve is a sinner in need of repentance, regardless of whatever religion, race or creed you profess, including atheists.

Romans 5:12-21 (NLT)
Adam and Christ Contrasted
12When Adam sinned, sin entered the entire human race. Adam's sin brought death, so death spread to everyone, for everyone sinned. 13Yes, people sinned even before the law was given. And though there was no law to break, since it had not yet been given, 14 they all died anyway--even though they did not disobey an explicit commandment of God, as Adam did. What a contrast between Adam and Christ, who was yet to come! 15And what
a difference between our sin and God's generous gift of forgiveness. For this one man, Adam, brought death to many through his sin. But this other man, Jesus Christ, brought forgiveness to many through God's bountiful gift. 16And the result of God's gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man's sin. For Adam's sin led to condemnation, but we have the free gift of being accepted by God, even though we are guilty of many sins. 17The sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to rule over us, but all who receive God's wonderful, gracious gift of righteousness will live in triumph over sin and death through this one man, Jesus Christ.
Nairaland GeneralRe: Comandclem Registered Patentees Assembly by skydeexie(m): 10:12pm On Feb 09, 2012
Hope for the Hopeless:

This is indeed a very, very low point for Patentees. Where is our fighting spirit? And why is it that we're loosing our focus and hope when victory could just be around the corner? Weeping may last all night but joy comes in the morning! Cheer up Guys, this is not the end of the world. The battle is yet over and some of us have already abandoned our forts. Gideon amassed an army of 30,000 soldiers to fight God's battle but he ended up selecting only 300 as per the Lord's instruction. Remember how Jonathan and his amour bearer fought the Philistines single handedly, as he said ", it may be that the LORD will work for us: for there is no restraint on the LORD to save by many or by few". Victory will catch many of us in deep slumber. Wake up, watch and pray.

Strategically, Mobil Oil may have assembled and “bought” a crowd of judges, lawyers, spoilers, mischief makers and even the government in some instances as is being speculated but with God on our side no battle shall be impossible to win. Mobil is not our enemy per se but a business entity for realising our hard earned investments. I also appreciate the fact that not all information available and at the disposal of Comandclem officials can be splashed on the pages of the internet as some of us would wish. Why give the very 'enemy' you are fighting with, vital information on your strategies for winning the battle on a platter of gold?

However, we must also give due credit to our so-called 'detractors' for keeping the flame of this battle alive, else we would not have reached this stage of apparent confusion that begs for clearer sense of direction on the part of Comandclem officials. At a particular point in time responses to questions and replies to alternative views became like 'comic soap operas' in absurdity. Patentees deserve straight forward answers to questions beclouding their minds on their investments. This is business people, we are not here for some comic and satirical soap operas. We know where to watch better operas if the situation warrants it. Please and I repeat Please: Nobody should take Patentees for a ride. We have had enough of rigmaroles and merry-go-round to nowhere in particular. Will the REAL Comandclem officials stand up please.

My advice: To Whom it May Concern - In order to calm Patentees fears on their investments:
1. If possible arrange for your true representatives to embark on a nation-wide tour through your official branches in the 36 states of the federation to brief Patentees on the very latest developments concerning the pending case on Comandclem versus Mobil at the Supreme Court on one hand and the prospect of the adjourned (8th March 2012) court case on the 22 infringers on the other. Clear, honest and straight forward explanations are expected at these briefings – nothing more, nothing less even if the truth hurts.
2. Call a major world conference at the end of this nation-wide tour by inviting all the Civil, Criminal, Patents, Trademarks, Nigerian Bar Association, Peaceful and all the other RIGHTS organizations including all the major wire and news services at Transcorp Hilton in Abuja. State your case in clear and unambiguous terms for the sake of awareness, since information and knowledge is the very power that drives and propels action in today’s fast paced world. Other concerned organizations will readily pick up the battle from that angle.
3. Of ‘course the King and all other Comandclem officials, top government officials, traditional rulers, individuals of worth(social, business and academia) and finally Patentees must be present at this world conference.

For Patentees: No more “weeping” please, it’s back to the trenches, get yourself fortified and prepare for the final lap of the race – it’s always the most difficult and you must persevere and endure to the very end. We will not fight with tires, guns and bombs but on our knees. Unless you are not well informed, more investments opportunities that pays well abounds today than even say five years ago. (e.g. - I invested N450,000 in mid November 2011, and by 7th February 2012, I earned an interest of N720,000 and with my capital intact – do the rest of the math for yourself. As at this year, the interest rate has been reduced to 90% per quarter.) Don’t put all your eggs (investments) in one basket. We were well informed about the conditions for investing in Comandclem Social Security Scheme, therefore no one should claim ignorance of the facts. Go back and read the FAQ portion on the Comandclem official Website.

Time Tested Nuggets from the Book of Ecclesiastes 11:1-6 (KJV) “Cast your bread upon the waters: for you shall find it after many days. Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for you know not what evil shall be upon the earth. If the clouds are full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree falls toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falls, there it shall be.

He that observes the wind shall not sow; and he that regards the clouds shall not reap. As you know not what is the way of the wind, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child; even so you know not the works of God who makes all.

In the morning sow your seed, and in the evening withhold not your hand: for you know not which shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both alike shall be good”.

Question: Can we honestly rule out the role of religion in this crisis? Has religion nothing to do with Boko Haram? Watch their videos and read

IslamRe: Media Contributes To The Bad Image Of Islam. Why? by skydeexie(m): 9:12am On Jan 20, 2012
The unwritten rule for muslims worldwide seems to say, blame everybody for your problems but don't ever ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY for your own actions. The number one blame sport for them even in the Quran is the Jews, followed by Christians. Stealth jihad and taqqiya all rolled into one. Islam must have its way no matter what. With this type of reasoning, therefore the 'bad boy' image of islam is really the fault of the media and the so-called christians who own them. Give me a break, what the heck!!

i read ds only because i saw frosbel's thumbs up. Bigotry is what keeps many from thinking straight. when did Boko haram become the voice for Nigerian Muslims.

what do u know of the Qur'an or hadith before making your conclusion that boko haram pple are true muslims. You seem to me like one of the media-brainwashed folks.

An authentic salafi Muslim is aware that the life of a Muslim is sacred and will do anything to protect it. You can feed your equally ignorant folks with such lies but dont bring it here and expect everyone to accept them.
I suggest you listen to their tapes and literature based on the quran/hadiths first. There's nothing like brainwashed folks here. If there's any group that has used the media for a very devastating effect to advance the cause of their religion in Nigeria- its islam. For starters, they have Al-Jazeera, BBC, CNN, VOA,  Deustwella, Radio France  - all Hausa Services apart from Al-Jazeera, propagating Islam in the guise of news. So who's talking about the media contributing to Islam bad boy image?
IslamRe: Media Contributes To The Bad Image Of Islam. Why? by skydeexie(m): 4:28pm On Jan 19, 2012
@Lagosshia
please check this thread on what you are quoting and you will see that those words have nothing to do with Islam:
Are you saying the the Egyptian and Mecca Imams are not muslims?

It comes as no surprise since muslims are always in denial when confronted with the truth. Wake up people(muslims) the game is up!
Gone were the days when islam used to be a closet religion only 'understood' by those who speaks or understand arabic language only. Thank God for the Internet. Every information about islam is available for all to see and coupled with what is happening practically, there's nothing more to hide.

For instance, if I CHOOSE to willingly on my own volition leave islam, they'll chop my head for doing just that. A poster above (@trustidkid) confirmed that in No.2 of his submission.

Thanks but no thanks - I don't wanna be a muslim. It's complete bondage. Gives no quarter and takes none.
IslamRe: Media Contributes To The Bad Image Of Islam. Why? by skydeexie(m): 4:07pm On Jan 19, 2012
Who says Boko-Haramists are not muslims. If anything they are the true authentic muslims practicing what is written in the quran, the hadiths and following to the letter the practical examples the prophet(PBUH) of islam left behind. Get to listen to the video the Boko-haram leader recently posted on Youtube addressed to the muslim Umma, President Jonathan and Christians in particular. Also listen to the BBC interview with the other slain leader. They are Sunnis practicing Salafism - the pure unadulterated form of islam. Boy they are the REAL thing. And that is why they don't mind killing muslims who are considered not "authentic" enough.
IslamRe: Media Contributes To The Bad Image Of Islam. Why? by skydeexie(m): 3:39pm On Jan 19, 2012
How about these prayers of hate from Imams for a religion that is peaceful. It has nothing to do with the media. The media reports as it sees it.

Popular Egyptian preacher, Sheikh Muhammad al-Zoghbi, was taped invoking his god thusly:

"May Allah cut your tongue out! May he freeze the blood in your veins! May he inflict you with cancer and allow you no reprieve… Allah, strike them with all sorts of disease, afflictions and pain! Allah, strike them with cancer! Allah, let your prophet overpower them! Allah destroy them! Allah destroy them! Allah destroy them! Allah destroy the criminals who challenge the noble prophet! [Then, very serenely addressing his Muslim viewers:] And peace upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings."

Likewise, Sheikh Abdullah Nihari supplicated Allah with outstretched arms accordingly:

"Lord, Lord, we condemn them before you!! Freeze the blood in their veins!!
Strike them with evil, or at the very least freeze the blood in their veins—until they pray for death, but do not receive it!! O lord! O lord! O lord!, "

Also shown was a snippet of formal prayers at Mecca, Islam's holiest city. As Muslims circumambulated around the Ka'ba, the following supplications were blasted on a megaphone, chanted to by Islam's devotees:

"O Allah vanquish the unjust Christians and the criminal Jews, the unjust traitors; strike them with your wrath; make their lives hostage to misery; drape them with endless despair, unrelenting pain and unremitting ailment; fill their lives with sorrow and pain and end their lives in humiliation and oppression; inflict your tortures and punishments upon the unjust Christians and criminal Jews. This is our supplication, Allah; grant us our request!"

3000 marriages are taking place at the same time and venue today in China because of this magic number date.

Will this date ever repeat itself?

There is hope for a repeat of this number date if only you can live for the next 1000years and if the Lord Jesus Christ tarries.

Dear Miss Uzoma, if I could help it, I don't always address people personally in public forums like this. However I perceive you are a reasonable lady and can understand issues well. I find it in order to correct some misconception about the issue at stake. We have profited well from all the unwarranted but welcomed criticisms, observations and a whole lot of false accusations labelled on us (Patentees). It beats my imagination that you are taking this whole matter as a personal one involving individuals in the forum. The main issue here is NOT Mr. Omokemesi and his "criminal gang" as you people are wont to call us. As matured individuals we have more than overlooked all the insults, name calling and what have you - because none of these accusations can take or reduce anything out of our humble personalities, rather we are the stronger for it.

Is it wrong to invest in a venture one believes in? Have we ever bothered you about your investments in life? Should we even care to know what business ventures you have invested in? Why is ours a bother to you? Must we all think alike? Given the opportunity, can you prove even one single accusation out of the many you daily accuse us of? The main issue here is Mobil's infringement on a legitimate patented product invented by Comandclem whom they seek the payment of royalties from same. Is there anything wrong with this? Is it wrong to pay royalties. Is it wrong to seek redress in court? Would Mobil have behaved like this in America or any western country for that matter. Why leave the main issues at stake and be chasing shadows. The matter is in the Supreme Court of the land, why not patiently wait for the outcome like any other person. Why do you enjoy abusing people all the time? Has our sense of decency and decorum as a well cultured and educated people actually gone to the dogs?

My advice: It would not be out of place to humbly offer an apology to Mr. Omokemesi and his "criminal gang", infact it is the right thing to do. We are investors in the business of Comandclem and not her employees. We believe in the overall vision of Comandclem and have not robbed a single kobo from any individual. Anyone who invested in Comanclem did so out of their own volition. Every business venture carries with it an inherent risk factor, and this we are all aware. We've had more than a fair share of education on this other aspect. Thank you.

Patentees - Remain focused, sharp and prayerful. Cheers to all.
