I think biblically it is not a sin to marry more than one wife but the Church have hidden the truth from the christians and that has fanned the flames of adultery in marriage. According to Exodus 21-10, Bible never forbids polygamy but tentatively advises prospective polygamists to be mindful of taking good care of the first wife and as well the new one should not suffer. Polygamy is not a sin. Let help single ladies and single mothers ...lol |

Pineapple farming in Nigeria is another sure money maker. Thousands of fruit juices are made with pineapple and the makers of fruit juice are always on the look out for pineapple farms where they could buy their raw materials. Go to mile 12 market or any market near you or even the fruits sellers near you and try to price pineapple, then you will realize that pineapple is edible gold! One head of pineapple is sold for N500 to N800 even as high as N1,500 in the local markets while the same head of pineapple goes for N2000+ in the fruit shops. For wholesale farmers, they sell for N500 to N800 depending on their weight. Lets assume you harvested 5000 pineapple and decided to sell for just N600 for wholesale, you will make a whooping of N3million. Takeaway cost of production, labour, and transportation, you will have a bounty profit and once they starts producing, they can fruit for the next 10 years if well maintained. Can now reason with me and believe pineapple farming is all time edible gold? If you are thinking of a profitable farming business to start in this country, then think no more, pineapple is the current money spinner. Let Make a Rough Cost Analysis for Pineapple Farming 1. Farmland Rent = 5,000 per year. (for an acre of land). Though it is advisable to buy your own farmland. 2. Farm Tools & Chemicals: (a) 2(two) Cuttlasses = 5,000 (b) Two pairs of Rain boot =7,000 (c) 2 (two) big plastic bowls = 7,000 (for holding spraying water) ( (d) 1 (one) wheel barrow = 20,000 (for easy items movemeent) (f) 2 (two) buckets = 6,000 (to fetch water) (g) (two) shovels = 5,000 (to dress furrows) (h) 2 (two) hoes = 4,000 (for tilling & weedng) (I) 4 (four) pairs of rubber hand glove = 1,000 (to prevent palms calouses) (j) 4(four) rolls of twain (rope) = 1,500 (for lanting) (k) Raincoat = 4,000 (l) 4 (four) bamboo baskets = 1,500 (for suckers transfer) (m) 3 (three) litres of non-selective herbicide = 10,000 (n) one litre each of pesticide & fungicide = 5,000 (o) 2 (two) litres of selective herbicide = 8,500 (p) Induction chemical = 20, 000 (It forces them to fruit at the same time) (q) CP15 Knapsack Prayer = 30,000 3. Farm clearing = 20,000 x 2 = 40,000 4. Packing of land after clearing including stumps and trees cutting = 10,000 (for an acre and 20,000 for 2 acres 5. Making of ridges (optonal) 6. Suckers (Pineapple stems for planting) = N35x 10,000 =N350,000 7. Loading & Transporting = N20,000 8. Offloading = 5,000 9. Transfer of suckers from offloading point to the farmland = 5,000 10. Planting =15,000 11. Miscellaneous expenses =N10,000 Total for an acre = 286,000 Total for 2 acres = 455,500 Estmate for the extra 1 (one) is: 455,500 minus 286,000 = 169,500. That means the extra one acre approximately requires just 169,500. Expected Annual Income Qt of harvest crops………. . 4,500 stands (Avg). Price per pineapple (avg)...X N500x4500 Total revenue (1 acre)………....1,350,000 Total Annual Profit = N1,060,000. Zonefree:If you have not tried a solution, never run it down. Believe me, hot water eradicates them. It costs you nothing, just try it and see if it works or not |
justicechichex:Leather-- I think sub-quality leather can get peeled off if it gets in contact with very hot water. |
This thread is a quick one and just to educate others. I know one time or the other, some of us might have had battles with bedbuds at home or in the office and felt troubled, used many recommended solutions to get rid of them but all to no avail. Believe me, Hot water is all you need! It works like magic! I remember when I relocated from IB to Osogbo, we were having unfriendly friends-bedbuds who refused to leave our house ever since we unconsciously rolled them up our sleeves from a relative's house to ours. I can tell you fro free, bedbuds are the worse to have in one's home. They torments and disrespect a lot. They as well defile solutions to eradication. In my moves to get rid of them, I bought different solutions but bedbuds refused to vacates untill one day I just thought of Hot Water and applied it to all corners of my chairs and all their suspected abodes. I did it like 2 days, believe me all of them died off. I observed that it is better to use kettle for the hot water and also use it to apply it to keep the steam intact till it get to them. Hot water kills bedbuds eggs and any crawling organisms . It cost you nothing and easy to apply. Mind you hot water might damage leather chairs though I am not sure so be careful if you have leather chairs. This is just my tip if you are plagued with bedbuds in your homes. Try hot water remedy and thank me later. |
yemi1504:There are many companies to sell to. Like FoodCo in Apata, IB, even if you have the link Suprite does buy frest fruits. Any juice companies always have things to do with pineapple. Pineapple is one of the best fruits that is universally known and cherish. No dull moment for its marketing |
yemi1504:The sales of pineapple fruits is very easy because the buys hardly have enough to buy. Companies normally come to the farms to buy as well as the market women who buy to resell . We sell in dozens or we scale it sometimes. We also do apply floral induction to facilitate uniform fruiting and target best season the price will go up. No black market here you can visit my farm at Sekona, Ede Osun State before engaging in any transaction. 0-7-0-6-4-7-6-4-2-9-4 |
yemmit90:That is not so. I have lived in Ibadan before and I know what is obtainable there. |
To be honest, Osun State is a good place to live. I am currently in Osun and I can attest to what OP said. I have lived in PH, Bayelsa, Lagos, Ibadan and Maiduguri before and i know what it takes to live in those states I mentioned. Although, Maiduguri was cheaper to live when I was there like 13 years ago but two things were conspicuously lacking in Borno State then Viz: Security and steady electricity supply. Talking about Rivers State, PortHarcourt in particular, things were costly virtually in all sphere of life exempt "Omoge". I have also lived in Bayelsa State too and I cannot compare Bayelsa with Osun State in any way when it comes to the cost of living ; Osun is cheaper to live. Lagos, I ran away from Lagos because of many things my life could not endure. First of all, I hate the vehicular traffic in Lagos and this always lead to restlessness. I woke up for work by 4a.m and came back to my house by 9 p.m. Every where in Lagos was stuffy! I pity many people who live in Lagos but in thatched houses, abject poverty and insecurity. I will prefer living in a two bedroom flat in a village rather than a dilapidated rented room apartment in Lagos. My experience in Ibadan, factually speaking, Ibadan is relatively cheap like Osun but it is becoming overpopulated now. Nevertheless, you can still find your way of living comfortably in Ibadan and the electricity supply there was not bad as at the time I was still there. Though that is Osun is better. Mind you, Oyo light is supplied from Osogbo's power line. Now Osun State, Osogbo as a case study, things are cheaper here in comparison with other states I have mentioned. There is peace, at least 16-18 hours of electricity supply, motorable road network (Gbosa for Aregbesola). Everything is just kuleee here honestly though jobs are scarce but you can Venture into a business. Like me I am into Agriculture , other businesses. You can call for your pineapple suckers at a reasonable price or for your farm set up. You can also visit our farms to confirm. |
