What is the true story of your former manager, Bankulli’s exit from DB Records? The thing is that I won’t really dwell too much on this issue but I want to categorically say everything that everybody has read or heard is a big fat lie. Infact, I don’t know where that story is coming from. There is a definitely time for everything. Bankulli was a wonderful manager and he is still my brother. He is a good guy but he can’t be flying around with me again as he now does his own things. He still called us for a show recently when we were in South Africa. When people say someone that worked with me for one year is not working with me again, I laugh. My former manager, Sunday Are still gets me shows. People keep spreading unpalatable rumors. Are you in touch with former partner, Don Jazzy? Don Jazzy produced four songs on the DKM album coming out soon. I remember when I was in America and they were mastering a song and I heard the one featuring Fally Ipupa which was produced by Don Jazzy and I was like wow! I called him immediately and he picked up. I said listen to what I’m hearing, this is a music you produced. So don’t get twisted like I said, love is a beautiful thing. I’m a businessman and I do what is right for my business. What I’m doing now is what I have always wanted as an artiste, professionalism and good distribution. I don’t have any regret. Tell us about your relationship status… I have dated a lot of women but I don’t really want to talk about them because most of them have moved on and some are married. I don’t have any regret at all because I am still young and am still a bachelor. Do you feel bothered about it when your mum brings up the issue? Not at all but it’s a normal thing for mothers. She is proud of me and I do let her understand that it’s not that I don’t want to marry but I have not found the right one. If she finds the right one for me; she can call me. How do you react to rumors and critics? It’s a normal thing for people to talk but you don’t have to be distracted. All you need is to stay focused. I want to thank everybody for staying with me genuinely even during the dreadful time. I promise not to let you guys down and you should remember that in everything I do, I’m also human. http://247nigerianewsupdate.com/don-jazzy-produced-four-songs-on-the-dkm-album-coming-out-soon-dbanj/

Check out the Nollywood actress, Bukky Wright’s dress, do you think she’s young enough to pull this off? The mother of three kids surprised fans as she stepped out in this fancy dress, but all eyes were on her very obvious nipple area. What do you think? Hot or Not?

RIP Coach.., You are a hero of your father land. God give you eternal rest. Amen |

Finally I’ve got the much anticipated gist. Badoo is now a confirmed member of Eja Nla family. My source, who is a top insider in the crew, told me that it was not a problem getting Olamide to sign on to DB Records. Olamide is the hottest “thing” in the music industry today and any track that has his voice on it usually becomes a show stopper. D’banj knows this and gave him a mouth watering deal… The Kokomaster, according to my source, told Olamide that he could still become everything he wanted to become and even more by working under him. He reminded Olamide that he (D’banj) had to work under Kanye West just to get more international exposure and recognition but that he still remains an independent artiste and his own man. Olamide naturally likes D’banj and feels at home around him. learnt that he has put pen to paper and is now officially an artiste under D’banj. Remember you read it on Naijaloaded first. *wink!* Do you think Olamide will get more better under D'banj DB Records?

GraceBestowed: He looks nice. Oh, and the head jokes are getting soooo old!! It's not actually a joke, he's got a big head, it's obvious... |
Nice picture Fashola there,.. Nice camera as well |
omonuan: Hey dude ignorance should not be contagious.People like you are just so prominent on the social network with your cacophony, but otherwise, you are hardly noticed. Suck it up lad, and take your position. |
PalmTree: Your post is quite admirable, yet I believe that you, billiyonaire and a host of other people who have contested the OP's claims and have aimed to debunk the yoruba advanced sciences should not be "scared" of taking up this challenge. Forget about the what the Yoruba juju men cannot do! However if you decide not to take up the challenge, let's all wait for he in who name this thread was opened. Secondly, whatever stops a brand new car from starting is obviously a factory fault. You should probably read the OP again, he will only "jujulize" the car after billiyonaire or his mech has certified the car OK. That to me should proof something... Don't try to rubbish this, take up the challenge or look on.Palmtree, you just interpreted my standpoint succinctly. Thank you. |
omonuan: It appears that you and ghostsparta are one and the same. I am not easily fooled as you can tell!Hey, what do you know? |
I think I understand GhostofSparta's position. He's been trying to enlighten people about what's achievable in the Yoruba tradition and some ignorant fellows here really turned it into arguments/rancour. I really don't blame the guy for this new thread, it might not necessarily aimed at proving any silly point but to correct people's notion. Let the respondent come out and let the air be cleared. |
GhostofSparta, Honestly, I can tell and confirm this is the best post I have read on Nairalanders since I joined. I am really impressed by your coincise explanation of the subject matter. However, it's expected that people will blab and say crap. Lets cross overto ur new thread and see what we can read there as well... ![]() |
gluv01: Lol...Mr Saka Saka..I like this man.Are you sure there's a contract? |
Reyspin: I doubt if this piece originated from Sunday Oliseh..I never know him to this smart..But this piece is a very insightful advice for our footballer..This is one of the few footballers that had his degree even while playing active football? Did u listen to his analysis during the AFCON at all? If you did, then you should doubt his intelligence. |
A 25-year-old man and native of Kano State, Ali Haruna, has been arrainged before an Igbosere Magistrate court for allegedly entering the Redeemed Christian Church of God, City of David, situated on Muri Okunola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos with charms strapped to his waist. He is facing a one count charge of illegally entering of a church with charms, an offence which is contrary to and punishable under section 133(b) of the criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria, 2011 An offence which is contrary to and punishable under section 133(b) of the criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria 2011. Haruna was arrested by officers of the Maroko Police Division, Lekki, Lagos, following a complaint by members of the church, that they found the accused inside their church on 31 March, 2013 with charms, suspecting him to have entered the church to perpetrate evil. According to information, Haruna allegedly told the police during investigation that he entered the church to pray to God. But when asked what he was doing with the charms he strapped to his waist, he could not give satisfactory answer nor explain how long he has been worshipping in the church since he claimed he was a Muslim. The accused however pleaded not guilty to the charge, and Magistrate Mrs. Ope Agbe admitted him on bail in the sum of N200,000 with one surety with proof of tax payment to the Lagos State government. She adjourned the matter till 29 April, 2013 for mention |

The split between two former co-label owners of Mohits Records; D’Banj and Don Jazzy, will be a year old in few weeks time. Their going-apart is still one of the most talked about in the Nigerian music industry. Even almost a year after, people still talk about their split like it happened yesterday. Both parties have floated their own music labels: Mavin Records and DB Records; Don Jazzy and D’Banj respectively and have moved on with their lives. At the AY Show held last night in Lagos, while answering questions on the red carpet, Don Jazzy confessed that he missed D’Banj. The Delta State multi-award winning beats maker said, “D’Banj is doing well wherever he is. You’re putting words in my mouth; yes, but of course, I miss him.”

Nigerian entertainers once more proved their worth as trail blazers on the continent as Answers Africa listed Tuface, Banky W, D’Banj and P-Square among Africa’s ten wealthiest artistes. Banky W was listed number 9, 2Face Idibia on 7th position, D’Banj came 3rd while P-Square was placed 2nd after Senegalese singer, Youssou N’Dour, who topped the list.
