Does HIV written on peoples face so how does anybody just came up with this kind of news? At least if even he is sick at the moment does every sickness mean HIV? What is the criteria does the person who broke news use or see or what geniue info does he or she has to back this up? I noticed any public person in Nigeria that mistakenly fell sick or just has fever or women go around him too much the next thing is to raise alarm of HIV. I'm not defending him but I presume a better and correct information is needed before labeling such terminal disease to anybody.

Ileke-Idi never fails to reply to any thread/post with the word 'Ekiti'. One hour on NL, any newbie with a half-brain will know she's from Ekiti. I kinda like it, though. @Topic. I think I'll love my Naija chics in Naija more if the ones in UK are all like Mama-gee.

Politics › Re: Udenwa, Ararume Dump Pdp, Declare For Acn by slap1(m): 4:17pm On Dec 24, 2010
Political parties are like conveyor-belts that drive political ambition, not a remote-controller. ACN is now seen as great mainly because of BRF's giant strides (which is still possible with PDP - see Akwa Ibom State). The problem is with the individual, not the party.
Politics › Re: Udenwa, Ararume Dump Pdp, Declare For Acn by slap1(m): 3:53pm On Dec 24, 2010
If ACN hopes to achieve popularity in Imo State, then Ifeanyi Ararume is surely NOT the right person to present to Ndi Imo. APGA is presenting Rochas Okorocha and they're sailing with Ararume . . . well, to each their own. Personally, I won't vote for Ararume.

Is he any different from the other politicians who do not open up about their thuggish tendencies but ensure to apply it to help them remain in power? He belongs in the PDP Party and we ought to tell them to fight their battles without trying to involve the Nigerian people in it.
An Igbo adage says: onye a huru n'ukwu ose ka a na akpo onye oshi ose -- The man that is caught stealing is the one that is labelled a thief (it doesn't matter that thieves are ubiquitous).

texazzpete:
I don't know what you people are talking about.
The 24 months sentence is deserved. it doesn't matter if other judges hand down lenient sentences to mega crooked politicians. At least one Judge did the right thing in sentencing a crook who broke into an innocent man's shop and attempted to make away with his rightful property.

Who knows what impact the N2,500 would have made to the well being of the shop owner? Abeg if you want to complain about lenient sentences to the rich, go ahead. but this man deserves his fate.
Nobody said otherwise. However, in a country like Naija, you simply can't help the comparism.
