Politics › Re: Turai’s Secret Agony by slap1(m): 3:14am On Mar 20, 2010
Editors now write down their imagination and sell as 'news'. If these are really troubling Turai I say, "So what? Ain't she a human being?" I seriously doubt if The Sun will ever dream of winning the 'Newspaper of the Year' again with this kinda reporting.

Literature › Re: The Most Profound Nigerian Novel In Recent Times! by slap1(m): 10:23am On Mar 19, 2010
Before you crucify these writers, ensure that you identify the context in which those words were used, and also the characters that used the words. U don't expect a character without formal education like Ugwu's sister in Half of a Yellow Sun to use words like "let alone", instead of "talkless of", etc. Understood?

Politics › Re: Digital Giants: Emeagwali Predicts Nigeria As 3rd Best Internet Customer By 2050 by slap1(m): 5:47am On Mar 17, 2010
If Eweagwali was a fraud, I think it follows that BBC would chip in a pointer to that fact in the report. I think some people are just bent on writing off the man's achievements because of past controversies.
